Gate of India is a new name in the Calgary region, it offers authentic East Indian cuisine. This is a family Restaurant where all age group of people are welcomed to Dine-In, Take out, Delivery, Lunch Buffet and Catering. Gate of India provides menu items incorporating quality ingredients at reasonable prices. Our management provides a unique and relaxing Dining, Take-out, Delivery and Catering services.
We will strive to achieve our goals of being mindful to the well being of our customers and staff- treating each and everyone with dignity and respect. Our purpose is to make our guests feel delighted by serving them our famous cuisines from India with an exclusive collection of wines with Indian music. First or second table early (5.45) New Year’s Eve. After 1 hour we left as we still hadn’t seen any food. Business was busy serving take out to delivery drivers and clearly cannot cope with a restaurant and delivery. Very disappointing as no one noticed us leave or tried to contact me after to apologise despite them having email and phone number . Shame really, the lassi was good, the poppadoms were carlessing pooling oil, when served.¿Te fue útil?

The food quality is outstanding. The menu options are significant. The service is super-friendly and part of the appeal. The decor and seating is pretty basic but that’s not a big deal. The wait times for food a longer but VERY WORTH THE WAIT. Serving sizes are very good. This is our 3rd time visiting here in a month. This place is an awesome neighbourhood find and well worth sharing with the Calgary community. Awesome!!¿Te fue útil?
