First of all, our server was outstanding and was readily available and fulfilled our needs throughout the whole night. To say the least, for it being the first time visiting your restaurant our experience was very enjoyable and we can and will recommend to anyone visiting your restaurant!!!
Great food and beer. It was Valentine's Day so it was busy. Our reservation was honored and we had a table within 5 minutes.
Beautiful restaurant with authentic food and attentive staff.
Valentines Day-an effort was made by the accordionists to make the night special for each table.
Dinner was great, the place is loud, as it should be. Make sure to NOT get seated in the back room if you want the whole experience, it's just too quiet back there, main room much more fun!
Dinner was a great experience, the food, the ambiance, and the people were all wonderful.
The best, most authentic German food we have had since being stationed in Germany 25 years ago. Brings back lots if memories.
Our server, Robert, was excellent. Because of him, our birthday celebration with our family ( of all ages), was made that much better. Music and voices get loud at times, but that is the nature of Gasthof.
Love the German food here. Quick service on a saturday evening. Got seated right away.
Great place! What an experience! First after dinner mint!! Haha
We try to have our family come with us the the Gasthof every year after Christmas. We have several December birthdays and one January birthday so we celebrate them at the Gasthof. We have only missed one year and that was because of the weather. We always have a good time and enjoy the food!
This is hands down the best German restaurant in the area. Best food and service . We split the platter for two containing the saurbraten. Celebrating a birthday so was treated to a piece of the black forest cake. We have dined here many times before and have never been disappointed. The bloody Mary was a hit as were the other drinks. Whether you go as a small group or a larger one it is always a pleasure. Prices are quite reasonable. Leftovers enough for more meals at home.
This is a perfect place to celebrate a special event and is very accommodating to special needs and guest comfort. The food was fantastic, the staff friendly and helpful. Gasthof's does not disappoint.
Everything was great! Food is very good. We had a party of 7 and everyone was so pleased we had come here. It was very enjoyable!
Only on word to describe the Gasthof and that is EXCELLENT and that's why we keep going back.
The "for 2" plate was excellent - lots of good stuff.
The Gasthof 'special for two' is a fantastic deal with a great variety of excellent German dishes, more than enough for two to share. The strolling accordionist engaging with tables is fun, but if you are looking for an 'intimate' atmosphere, you might want to mention that when making a reservation, as some sections of the restaurant are more quiet than others. We would go back in a heartbeat.
With 9 people, 2 of them being young, the atmosphere was fun and exciting without being obnoxious. The adults could be themselves without having to worry about the kids. Next time we want to try the cabin room, as it looks to be a lot of fun. The food is very authentic and delicious. I wish I lived closer so that I could go there more often.
Great food - excellent server and music
I loved the food and staff and music, I would make sure that the one German wine is always available.
We had a very fun experience! There were 7 of us from age 4 to 84! The food was very good and the atmosphere was awesome!
Service was great. Atmosphere fun. Typically not a big fan of German fare, but really enjoyed the platter my wife and I shared. Plus, the dressing on the salad was the best I’ve ever had. Prices weren’t out of line with the quality and portion sizes
Great German food experience. The sampler platter for 2 is a great way to explore German food. The accordion player was a great addition to the night.
The food and service is fantastic! Be prepared for the strolling accordion player. It can get a little loud at times. Overall a great experience.
We had a great time. Parking was easy to find. The food was very tasty and the Paulander Oktober was great. The inside decor was well done. The only downside was that the guy was playing the accordian too close. I think if we were asked whether we wanted to be in the midst of that we would have chosen to be further from the main group. Still it was fun. There were 3 birthday groups and that was the reason for most of the cheer.
We had a great time enjoying the ambiance. The server was very friendly and helpful. Conversation is difficult due to the accordion and the singing, so don't go there if you want a quiet place. The same thing made for a very fun, festive atmosphere! I really enjoyed the experience.
Great evening celebrating! So much fun, great service and food!
Fun atmosphere, good German food, service was poor but the restaurant was very busy. Best German food in town .
Everything good but the noise: I'm probably the only patron who would recommend that you get rid of the live music—especially the wandering accordionist.
Very fun for groups especially. We really enjoyed the accordion players. Food was average. The bar downstairs looked fun, drew a younger crowd.
The food was okay and the service was good initially, but towards the middle of the meal she disappeared and when we did see her she was talking to another server. The accordion player was fun. I was upset that they insisted on a reservation and said they were too busy and we would not be able to be served otherwise. There were only 5 tables being used.
We love Gasthof...parents were in town, thought would be fun to take them there. They loved it. Dad was 3rd armored cavalry patrolling the Iron Curtain in Germany in the 50's. He said he felt like he was back in Germany with the atmosphere and food!
He had a blast!
My family went there to celebrate my fathers 75 birthday on a Thursday. At one point my father leaned over to me and said, "this is the most fun he's had in a long time". The accordion player was great, he spent time at all the tables and i think he made my dad feel extra special. Our server was super awesome; he was polite and very generous. it was a great experience.
My only recommendation, I think i would be nice though to hear some German music in the back ground when the Accordion player wasn't playing, especially when you first walk in.
Totally different than expected. Was an okay experience. Food wasn't as great as I anticipated.
We had a family of 8 plus 2 toddlers for Oktoberfest. Great service, music and food was outstanding. Cant wait till next year.
We had an excellent experience. Our waitress was awesome. We were there for my birthday, the accordionist sang happy birthday to me! Was great! Food was excellent.
2 great accordion players but only 1 engaged with anyone in the restaurant. Fairly loud when we visited but that's expected on a Saturday evening. Had drinks before our reservation and had a lengthy delay getting them, despite seeing them sitting on the bar for 10 minutes. Visit years ago seemed more cozy. The feel now was that the noise carried a long ways with the newer, open area of the bar. Still a great atmosphere.
Great spot for a special occasion. Our party of 7 ordered two of the platters and had plenty of food for all of us! The service was great and the accordionist was awesome. Very fun!!!
Brought my German Mother in Law here for dinner tonight. Split a platter for two three ways and had plenty of left overs. Went early on a Tuesday night and really enjoyed have the place almost to ourselves. The Black Forest cake was devine. Topped off the meals With Apfel korn and Snuff.
