We had the pleasure of dining at Gaspar last night, and it was nothing short of magnifique. The ambience was cozy, and the attentive service made us feel welcome, and well taken care of. The menu is authentically French. We started with the Formages Et Charcuteries, which consisted of fresh fruit, nuts, cranberry compote, liver, pate, pickled onions and mustard. For the main course we had Pave De Saumon Grille and Jose De Boeuf Braisee. Both were thoughtfully prepared and excellent dishes. If you’re looking for an authentic French culinary experience in Montreal, this place is a must visit. Bon appétit!

We had a lovely Saturday night dinner at Gaspar. The white sangria was refreshing, and the grilled octopus appetizer was perfectly cooked and flavorful. My husband really enjoyed the braised beef cheek which was tender and rich while my truffle pesto cavatelli was earthy and delicious. Service was friendly and efficient, and the space has a romantic, lively vibe. It was starting to get noisy by 7, but at 6 it was still comfortable for conversation. A bit pricey, but worth it for the quality and setting. We’d happily return, especially for the ambience.

J’ai demander du pain avec mon entrée . Le serveur me dit qu’il en avait pas . Au plat principale le pain est arrivé enfin ça fait mon bonheur . Joue excellente sauf aucun légumes domage

The food was excellent once they get the doneness of the steak correct. I saw several walked back. The staff was very cooperative about corrections. The other dishes were delicious and correctly done.

Great restaurant- highly recommended. We sat indoors but patio seating also available. Our server Marie-Flo was attentive and very friendly. All of her meal recommendations were delicious. And the atmosphere had a terrific vibe. We really appreciated her suggestions of other highlights to see while visiting the city. Lots of gratitude for the experience.

Great atmosphere. Friendly and attentive staff. We both ordered filets and they were perfectly seasoned and cooked.

Could have been better. We had a reservation and were ushered into the back of the restaurant with no view or air. Our simple order took almost an hour to arrive. The food was good but we would t recommend it or go out of our way to go again. Meh.
