   We had not realised that Garrison was situated in the Fairmont Hotel. This meant that you could really have been in any smart, corporate hotel in the world. There was not much of the distinctive flavour of Austin. That said, the service was absolutely first class.

   Absolutely phenomenal experience! The food was creative and delicious, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere made it all even better. It turned an ordinary night into something special. We can’t wait to come back next time we’re in Austin!

   such a wonderful evening. We were a party of 8 and we ALL kept commenting on how amazing the food was. Highly recommend Garrison.

   Very good restaurant but quite expensive. $75 for an 8 ounce strip loin. Excellent quality. It is within the Fairmont hotel. There are other local restaurants that are as good but priced more reasonably.

   The food was great as always, even the mocktails. What set the dinner apart was the level of service was truly outstanding!! They made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. They went out of their way to make sure we made it to our show on time by getting our car and walking us out around this huge convention of people all trying to leave. They were welcoming and kind and helpful and we will for sure be going back.

   Ordinary food for extraordinary prices, tater tots, a “specialty” were $35. Not that special.

   Great food and wonderful service. Only suggestion would be to up the cool factor by changing the interior to be more like the adjoining restaurant.
