Amazing food! Best food I’ve had in years, had the chef’s choice first option and it was a lot of food and was very full at the end. Dessert was AMAZING

Every summer I check off one item on my Bucket List. Last summer it was indoor skydiving. This summer, for my 64th birthday year, I saved up for months so that I could eat a Chefs Table meal at Garde Manger. My daughter and I had the most amazing experience! We sampled 18 different foods prepared in ways I only hear talked about on my favourite cooking shows. We had the best server (I believe her name was Emma), and the other staff who presented us our different courses were so friendly and knowledgeable. The meal was paced so well & the attention to detail (and plating) was beyond outstanding. One thing we noticed was the flow of teamwork- the unspoken communication and respect between the staff members was impressive. If a staff walked past a table, even if it wasn’t “their table”, they stopped to refill water glasses and check that everything was okay. Dave at the front desk even let me charge my phone while we ate! Thank you to the kitchen for preparing our different dishes with such care and love. This is a memory we will never forget and it will be treasured.

What a lovely dining experience. We sat at the back bar and had an absolutely delicious meal. I recommend the halibut, crab toast and petite four.

As a returning customer, a visit to Montreal without divinely eating here is a truly missed experience of attentive service, fun and most of all the FOOD. I dined on my own, sat at the bar. Best seats in the house!!

Old World surroundings with a little New World boho feel. The playlist was perfect for this Gen X couple too. The service? Friendly, warm, professional. The food? Out-of-this-world! Wonderful presentations, delightful flavors and textures kept us surprised and anticipating the next selection from our chef’s selection menu for the evening. The seafood was only rivaled by the duck (and dessert)! Thank you for a memorable experience!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed the 4-course Chef’s tasting menu— a fabulous selection of seafood, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. The seafood platter, the carpaccio appetizer, the halibut, and the “deconstructed” key lime pie were standouts, but everything we tasted was exceptional and delicious. A truly memorable meal in Old Montreal.
