   Food was good, not great. Standard Italian comfort food. Host was anything but friendly (borderline too rude to stay) service was inattentive and dismissive. They had a reservation for our group that fit our time frame but sat us over a half hour late with zero apology. Go if you must, food is as good as can be expected, but just make sure your expectations of service are appropriately low.

   I just had my worst experience ever in a restaurant! I arrived for my 7:00 PM reservation and was promptly seated with my wife and another couple. As usual, we ordered drinks and the waiter took our order for our meal. We had appetizers and salads and then our entrees were served. At 8:30 PM the waiter brought over the dessert menus and asked if we would like coffee. The ladies ordered coffee and we began to review the dessert choices. Within a few minutes the waiter returned without the coffee. He said that there were too many people waiting for our table and so we could not stay to have dessert and coffee and we needed to pay the bill and leave. While we did leave, on the way out, I complained to the manager and he was apologetic, but the damage was already done. He said he would make it up to us next time we visited the restaurant but there will not be a next time. I would not return to this place again! I can’t believe that we spent $200.00 for a meal so we could be treated so poorly.

   First visit to Galli. Menu selection was good, service was as expected. However the noise level in the restaurant was one of the worst I have ever encountered. My ears were ringing by the time we left. They should do something about the acoustics in the restaurant , perhaps add some noise absorbing materials on the walls/ceiling. I won't go back or recommend it for this reason.

   Galli is a cool place to eat with friends, if you want a hip & loud spot. They play cool music and the space is buzzing and very energetic.

   Came for a birthday dinner, the bartenders are awesome, music was hip and the owner is so nice! I love this place.

   The location in Soho has a better atmosphere. The dinner food is better than brunch. The restaurant was quite dead and my table was the only party there.

   Food was par excellence, and nothing to complain about. We were a group of seven. The octopus and MAD calamari were tasty appetizers. Everyone ordered a (unique) pasta dish and no one complained about any, so they're all good! One slight irritant was that we were squeezed onto a table that could seat six people (three a side). Without a coat check, it was impossible to fit everyone properly. Once we objected, they were quick to provide an additional chair.

    Had my husbands birthday dinner last Saturday and it was fabulous. Great food and very attentive waitstaff. Everything was really on point
