Right on the River Thames in Brentford, Galata Pera doesn’t mess about when it comes to flavour and insists on only the most authentic tastes of old Istanbul. The moussaka is not to be missed, while the vibrant Turkish salads are light and satisfying. You’ll find Galata Pera on Brentford’s Town Meadow, not too far from the main train station and with the Royal Botanic Gardens of Kew just over the river – wonderful.
