   Service was excellent food was not. Steak tartare just average. Duck very tough and tasteless. Had to send it back. Her short rib was bland. Lobster Mac and cheese was good however and Sulaman was fantastic

   We waited soooo long to order and the food was cold! Beautiful setting! Poor service! Food was ok. Expected much better!

   The restaurant at Hotel Bennett is a very nice place. The food was very good and no complaints there. My only gripe would be the quality of service. Out server was pleasant and polite but I feel inexperienced, especially for this level of dining. If no one is having wine, the glasses should have been removed from the table. When more bread is brought over there should also be more butter. We should have been told of the daily fish, not “oh, I thought I mentioned that.” These are not horrible errors. Just a mention for a better dining experience for all.

   Eric was absolutely amazing!!! Alex was welcoming.. out server was knowledgeable. Definitely a charm on the mix!

   I am the mother of a Citadel cadet. We live in New York and we could not be with our son for Easter. I made a reservation for him because I wanted him to have a beautiful dinner. Our son loves good quality food. He snapped pictures and shared his dinner with us and told us he was being treated like a king and he enjoyed every bite! He enjoyed an Old Fashion and oysters to start. A beautiful filet and a pecan praline dessert and coffee. This made me so happy. Thank you all. Next time we are in Charleston we will all come to dinner. The Gleesons

   Lovely place to dine our server was very nice but seemed a little over burdened even though things didn’t seem terribly busy. We waited a long time for drinks and in general just felt over looked.

   We had Sunday brunch outdoors on the patio. Luca, our waiter, was fabulous. He was attentive, courteous, and quite congenial. Ordered soft shelled crab and shrimp & grits. Both were delicious. The best shrimp & grits in Charleston (by far…. Not even close). We were celebrating a birthday. Luca treated us to complimentary flute of champagne and dessert bouche. Thank you for a fantastic dining experience.

    It was my mistake going for breakfast. I made the reservation based on a previous experience that I didn't realize was a brunch/lunch menu. The breakfast menu was underwhelming and our waiter Paul seemed like he would rather be anywhere except there.
