Food and service were fantastic. The only issue was we asked to be seated indoors, but they have a large wall that opens to the outside. It was cold, so we asked to close it, but they never did - so it was very cold - since we couldn't have heaters next to us indoors. I would recommend wearing warm clothes or asked to be seated by a heater until the weather warms up a bit.

Nice ambience, outdoor dining set up, dog friendly. Food was good, very rich items.

Food was amazing, as always. Servers were fantastic - friendly, funny and accommodating. Very understanding and helpful as we debated endlessly about what to eat and drink. An altogether wonderful brunch.

Ordered a chicken dish .... the chicken was tough to eat i was only able to take a few bite. For the price I was expecting something out of the ordinary.

My friend ordered the oxtail serve with pasta. The pasta was dry.

Oh, my, we had a very delightful Easter meal. Quite a fantastic cocktail (oops...I forgot the name!) & entree & dessert (it reminded me of flan but it's way more decadent, and, oh, so delish!) The service was amazing. Try the jello shots...!!!

I love it here! I had an amazing dinner a few weeks back, and just enjoyed Easter Sunday brunch. Great environment, food, fun menu, and the Employee's really make the experience great for their diners

Had a great Easter brunch! The host was incredible with a great sense of humor. The server was fantastic and the food, delicious.

Have been to this restaurant many times for brunch and this time the food was sub par. The French toast was one large piece of bread (two halves) and was tough to cut. It was not the same as in.the past. The bacon was very greasy and not presented well. Disappointed.

Great food, wonderful service! We happened to be in the area for the evening and love tapas so decided to check this place out. Good selection of tapas (the tuna crudo was our favorite) and craft cocktails. Definitely recommend!

Went for Brunch. Food was ok, but nothing special. Hard to find healthy options on the menu. Service was VERY slow. Constantly had to ask for refills on coffee and water. Courses were over before condiments were provided.

Gabi James is likely the most consistently excellent choice in Riviera Village. Service is excellent, the Bar is great, and the menu is far more innovative than most restaurants anywhere. Now with some indoor seating as well as their great patio, it's a sure bet for an extraordinary experience.

1.5 h limitation was too short to enjoy great foods.

Food was ok. Service could have been better. Waiter brought us 2 dishes that were incorrect. We didn’t send them back because he seemed very overwhelmed. Not sure we will go back. Waiter and manager were both nice. Just slow service and incorrect items sent to us.

I’ve been to Gabi James at least 4 times on the past year ( considering we’ve been in a lock down ) and it’s always great ‘ brought friends who now make it a regular destination for their own occasions.
Love this place !

Gabi James is an absolute gem of Redondo Beach! The menu is diverse (but approachable) and 100% delicious. The ambience is elegant, but not pretentious. The service was top shelf, too! This restaurant is one of the best dining experiences you can have in the beach cities. Cheers!

Get outdoor environment! The service was great, our waitress was very attentive and personable. The food was okay. I love the skirt steak and the sauce was exceptional. Also, the cocktails were delicious. Other than that, that pork belly was tough, the churros were more of a funnel cake than anything near a churro. Some things met expectations and some fell below. So solid 3 stars.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. I’m so happy that they have managed during this very difficult year. They have clearly worked very hard at maintaining excellent service and a delectable menu. The food is excellent; the staff is wonderful. You can’t go wrong!

The ragu was delicious as was my husband's paella. Yummy chocolate bread pudding. The tables are appropriately spaced per Covid requirements. Our waiter was attentive. We exceeded our 90 minute limit at the table and they were very nice about asking us to give up the table even though we had been there 2 hours.

Party of 4 all were seated by 6:15 We ordered appetizers 6:30 ish while ordering we were told we had 90 minutes to dine. Clock is ticking 1 hour left to have dinner. Party of 4 appetizers, wine dinner 👀. we ordered a $115.00 bottle off wine from the owner. He seemed friendly. Got our appetizers and wine around 6:45 Trying to decide if we should stay we felt uncomfortable with time pressure. Stayed and ordered dinner wanting to enjoy wine and friends. Brought out our food about 25 minutes later and was reminded of time frame to hurry and eat. I asked waitress can I order more wine with our dinner or should we pack up food and leave? She took wine order, same wine. She never brought wine! We finished and left. We all agreed we would never go back there again!

Delicious food and wonderful cocktails, with exceptional service. A great place to celebrate our anniversary. A bit chilly for mandatory outdoor dining, but it is early March.

Great outdoor seating area with lots of heat lamps made for a pleasant experience. the food was delicious and the drinks were great! this place never disappoints.

This is such a great restaurant. The food and atmosphere are perfect t for a special occasion. We just took my mom for her 80th and she LOVED it.
