Thought it was going to be an Afro-Caribbean type day party but it wasn't. But food was great. Would def come back for brunch only.

On this particular Saturday, the lounge was not packed like it normally is. The service was cool, but slow for there to be less than 12 people in the building. They were out of a lot of items including Dusse, Wings, Shrimp and Grits...there are just some things a lounge should have in stock. Our server in VIP was nice and the promoter that was there was attentive. I expected a lot more from the lounge but it was still a wonderful experience because I was with good friends.

The service was very slow. After waiting over and hour for food we were informed they had an event and were short staffed. No communication upfront and restaurant was virtually empty. I would not recommend. The food I had chicken strips no seasoning and the crinkle fries came from a frozen bag.

The only bad was I reserved a table for 2 n they put us outside but there were tables inside available…At this particular time it was just a hand full of people maybe 15 ….empty tables but proceeded to seat people outside away from the entertainment that was going on…We end up setting at the bar and we enjoyed the entertainment that was going on…

This was my boyfriend and I second time going to Fusion. The first time was great from the service down to the food. This time… not so great. When we first got our food, it was cold like it had been sitting on the plate. They “remade” everything and everything except my oxtails were hot. The service was terrible. We ordered another shot and a sprite and it took our waitress a while to even bring two simple things but at that point we were ready to leave. It was my birthday weekend and fashion definitely disappointed me. I will not be returning no time soon!

So I had a reservation at 3 pm on a Sunday I got there about 3:15 which they have a 20 min grace period so we was still within the time frame. But when we got there it was 3 other groups of ppl with reservations still waiting to be seated and the host was no where to be seen. We waited about 10/15 mins and the host never came. I looked in the restaurant and could see there was no seats available so I assumed that’s why we were still waiting. So we decided to leave being that it was still 3 group in front of us and no seats available even with a reservation. When we walked out a guy who said he was apart of ownership ask us to stay and we told him why we was leaving and he said well the host is overwhelmed at the moment and we told him we see that and that is why we were leaving. I really wanted to try and experience the food and it seemed like it would’ve be a good vibe but unfortunately I wasn’t able to experience it. So I would say if you do make reservations make them earlier then 3 pm maybe like 12/1pm if it’s a Sunday. But I still want to try the food .

I was expecting so much more from this establishment for a brunch experience. Of course, social media advertising makes the lounge look nice but it is very small. The DJ was really good. Most of the room is taken up by reserved parties, which would probably seat about four different parties but only two were present for the three hours we were there. The service was great. With a reservation, we were seated right away. Water was brought to the table with rolls, which had a light taste (drippy butter). We ordered without grits because of reviews. The Jollof rice was the only thing that was really tasty. I was disappointed by the three pieces of dry and bland lamb that I did not finish. My friend, whose birthday we were celebrating, had catfish and Jollof but she was satisfied. The catfish was not bad. The alcoholic beverages were mostly juice, not much alcohol for $16. "IF" we return, we will try the restaurant instead for Nigerian food for dinner. It's not a brunch! Several people around us did not look satisfied and boxed up most of their food or left it.

Nice vibe. The chairs and tables are very low. Makes you feel like you’re sitting at a child’s table. Our server was great! We missed her name. The food was mid, no flavor. Neither of us finished the meal.
