The food tasted great but the staff was not helpful, it took forever for any food and drinks to come (over 1.5 hours for lunch and majority of the restaurant was empty) and there wasn’t any AC!

I was very excited for my first visit to Fridas! I wanted to give it a try but I was sooooo disappointed. First of all, the air conditioning was out and the manager apologized but I thought maybe it is not so bad. San Antonio had restaurant week where restaurants can show off there menus in a smaller version. So I went to try it during this event. I ordered ceviche and it was two raw shrimp with avocado on the side. I could not eat it because I thought it would make me sick (see picture). I ordered the salmon and was told I could not order that and so I ordered the shrimp with pasta (see picture). I told the waiter I could not eat cream so this is what they brought me. Then, my husband ordered the chicken dish. It was disgusting and tasted like lighter fluid.

Air condition was not working so it made it uncomfortable. Service was kind of slow also. Food was tasty and drinks were ok!

Had a reservation so we were seated right away but there wasn’t a lot of people. On the outside the restaurant seem huge but when inside they only had on section of the restaurant open and is was on a Saturday. We were seated, the waiter came over with water. Took a look at the menu, everything on the menu sounded delicious. We order and appetizer and a kids meal while we waited for everyone else to find what they want to eat. When ordering, we asked if they had bean and rice since we didn’t see it on the menu. Our waiter told us there was, refried and Charro. We ask if they are black bean, because we do not like them, he said no. So I proceeded with the kids order which was a Arrachera taco and rice and refried beans. When the food came the kids meal had black beans, the rice was very hard, no flavor, and the arrachera which is supposed to be a very juicy; was dry. We didn’t order anything else and paid and left. After see how the kid food came out, we didn’t want to risk ordering for our food to come out the same.

Quiet, intimate location. Portion sizes are small. Margaritas are delicious. The staff were great.

The quality of food was really bad. The mesquite grilled chicken dish was almost inedible .. the chicken was so dry. Chips were stale and soggy. Very disappointing overall.

They had a event and the music was too loud you couldn't talk, the food was so so (it was brunch sunday) but the service was extremely slow, it took at least 20 min to get me sangria

Father’s Day brunch. Everything was really nice. Unfortunately there was a pride event going on in the same space but they had black curtains up. We sure wish we could’ve seen it.🥰
