The Friars' Table is steeped in the Franciscan tradition of care and community.

Located in Cleveland's Playhouse Square, James Beard Winner Brandon Chrostowski brings a cuisine focusing on Monastic ingredients and techniques in a chic, curated setting. The Friars' Table features dishes including hearty soups and stews, seasonal salads, Salmon St. Celestine and braised lamb shoulder along with wine and cocktails highlighting simplicity and tradition.

The Friars' Table was uniquely founded by Brother Phillip Bernier of The Capuchin Ministries of Cleveland in partnership with Brandon Chrostowski of EDWINS Leadership and Restaurant Institute. The mission focus on serving those in our community working to improve life through cuisine and education.

                                                                                                This is a great dining experience. Unique items on the menu, good ambiance, friendly, attentive staff. We were there for a special beer tasting event, and it was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

                                                                                                Participated in a communal seating beer pairing experience and not a private dinner. However, the beers, food pairings, staff, and ambiance were great. The kitchen is open to the dining area and was remarkably quiet. Seating is comfortable. A fun and unique dining experience.

                                                                                                The food was perfect. I got the new Bronzino dish and it was flavorful with a nice, crispy skin. It was served with some of the most delicious beans around. My girlfriend got the pork and it was served with a roulade that was the perfect pairing. The Au Gratin potatoes were creative and wonderful. My girlfriend got a parfait style dessert, and I got a combo Cookie/Brownie that was served with some of the best whipped cream you’ll ever taste. Service was attentive and welcoming. Would definitely suggest it!

                                                                                                The food was exceptional and not typical. The service was great. A visit by Brother Phil made us feel very appreciated as their dining guests. I will be back.
