What a fun night! Bringing family for the first time, we enjoyed several entrees, appetizers and two desserts to share. Alicia was a great server. Knowledgeable, engaging, she helped set the tone for fun and relaxing. So many dishes to love, I had the lamb shoulder which was sooo yummy! Fav appetizer was the flat bread passameterie (? Sp?) and I liked the warm compote for dessert. Ohhh we will be back!

We paid our second visit to The Friar's Table. The staff was especially welcoming from the hostess to our server and even the expediter that brought our food. Our server was very helpful offering information about the entres and mading sure we could get to our show at Playhouse Square on time. The food was excellent, of high quality. The atmosphere is very convivial. The mission of the establishment is admirable and deserving of community support. We love it and we will be coming back.

Friar's Table is a great addition to the Playhouse Square dining venue. This was our first visit and we will return. The decor and table service makes one feel like one is in a castle. How fun to have the wine served in a jug with mugs. The food was very good, especially the goat cheese and spinach pancake and the pork entree. Our server was attentive and knew the selections well. All selections from appetizer to dessert were served in a timely manner and we did not have to worry about watching the clock to make our show. Keep up the good work!
