Third or fourth time we've dined here and have always enjoyed our meals. Unfortunately my friend and I were a bit disappointed this time. I've always enjoyed their Onion Soup and usually I've had the duck which I've also enjoyed. Tonight we both had the Onion Soup, and found it only "warm". Now no one likes to have soup so hot you burn your mouth and destroy any sensation to enjoy the rest of your meal, but one does expect the soup to be hot, not lukewarm. For a change I ordered the Quarter Chicken Leg & Thigh with the Orange and Pineapple Sauce, Pommes Frites w/ Aioli Mayo. Served on a rather large wooden "plate". It was the smallest leg quarter and thigh I ever saw. Oh, when the waitress delivered the meal to the table, the chicken looked lost on such a huge platter with just a small cup of the Aioli Mayo. She said she had to go back and get the Orange/Pineapple Sauce which upon delivering it she added it to the platter which at least helped the chicken not look so lost. At the end of the meal I actually said to our waitress, "The menu didn't state the quarter leg and thigh were from a Cornish Game Hen." Yes, it looked that small. The chicken itself was just "good", not much different from a rotisserie chicken at Costco. The Orange/Pineapple sauce did make the chicken more delightful. Pommes Frites were good w/ Aioli Mayo. Their baguette and pistou butter was very good. My friend had the Chicken Breast with Au Jus and the Mashed Potatoes (which he said were very good). Though he said the Chicken Breast was ok, small portion, nothing special about it. And again, noted that the Onion Soup was just lukewarm. I'd like to say we will be back again because we love their Onion Soup. But I will at least stick to ordering the Duck. Hopefully my friend will also come along. After Sunday, I understand they will close for the Summer and reopen after Labor Day. Hope to be back, but hope our experience is more like the previous times we've dined here.

Always a pleasure to eat at French Rotisserie. Charming interior. Food is tasty. Great service from Jean Luques. The friendly owners are there to help and support. This is one of our favorite local restaurants.

This was a wonderful dining experience. Great french food and wonderful atmosphere. The French Onion Soup was the best I have ever had. Great server who was quite knowledgeable and helped us with our order. We loved the whole overall experience.

I remembered going to this unique Bistro/restaurant years ago with other friends and really enjoyed every bite. On Father's Day, the four of us were showered with an abundance of grace and service throughout our arrival/departure. Drinks, Martinis, wine and cranberry cocktails with the small details of how you would like to mix- fantastic! ALL of the food/salads are 100% organic farm to table but where they can they make their own dressings bread etc. they do! We all had 'Build your own salads' choosing various lettuces, additives (anchovies' tomatoes etc.) and various daily homemade dressings. Some of us had both soups and salads like Onion soup Gratinee, Vichyssoise soup - perfect! Everything on the menu is very classic French cuisine and we couldn't get over how good everything was, Moroccan Lamb, Duck, Rotisserie Chicken and Quarter Chicken Leg/Thighs This was a night to remember - The food was the Best we've had at a restaurant in a LONG time!

The name says it all: French (onion soup, vichyssoise, duck), Rotisserie (quarter, half or whole chicken), Cafe (lovely, lively, professional, delicious). There are several complete entrees to chose from, or “assemble your own” salads and poultry/seafood dishes with sauces, of course.

This was our first visit. They have a prix fixe menu with good options for salad entre and dessert. I have the rotisserie chicken while everyone else had the beef borguigon. Both were great. Large portions and friendly service. A very reasonable $6 glass of wine to boot! Thanks!

French Rotisserie has had delicious food every time we have been there. The owners are so gracious and walk around to greet most people there. There waitstaff is also good. They make sure that all is ok but do not hover.

I went for the $39 three course option as part of Greater Palm Springs Restaurant Week. I had not been to this restaurant before but I will definitely return. I loved my meals from start to finish. My main was chicken in puff pastry in a wonderful sauce. A delicious treat. My server Richelle also made my stay very pleasant. She is always smiling and very helpful. She took very good care of me.
