Food and service was excellent. We had pasta (slow cooked lasagna) it was delicious, plus a pizza, the dough is hand made and it was cooked to perfection. Wine selection toon is excellent and we had a lovely, relaxed evening.

Food was tasty and served hot and good portion size Staff were very friendly and attentive, checking in with us without being overbearing. Can’t wait to come again and try something different on their varied menu Well done everyone.

We loved Fredericks, the interior is gorgeous, food was delicious and really good service, I'm already looking forwards to going again.

The refurbishment is lovely and the menu has lots of decent choices . Wine reasonably priced too and we were offered a more expensive bottle for lower price as our first choice wasn’t chilled enough . Starters bruschetta and Calamares were great although quite small portions for price . I chose the crab linguine which unfortunately was over cooked with very little chili and not much crab . Our friends lasagne looked perfect . Beautiful orange cake but £7.50 is a bit expensive. Next time I think I will stick to pizza but the service was great the ambience is too and with a few tweaks definitely worth a visit

Food was great, for my starter I had garlic dough balls which were amazing and for my main I had a magherita pizza ,Will definitely be back . Also staff were friendly 👍

A beautiful meal relaxing atmosphere good wines experienced staff all together a pleasant afternoon Menu is small but dishes were well executed and served with great staff Quality food and wine

Firstly, have to mention that this is only the 2nd weekend of operation and we would love to see this place become the amazing place it could be, but disappointed with our first visit. Friendly staff on arrival, drinks menu was just wine and cocktails with no other drinks, soft drinks or mocktails listed. Ordered our cocktails and starters and the starters arrived in about 20 minutes but had to ask for our drinks again. We were then left for over an hour before our mains arrived with nobody asking if we’d like drinks or explaining that there was a delay in the kitchen. All the food was excellent but the carbonara portion size was definitely on the small side. We skipped desserts as it had already been two hours for our first two courses. Requested the bill to find that additional drinks had been accidentally added. Quickly sorted out but found that the mocktail had been charged at the same price as a cocktail - £9.50 for an elderflower spritz is not acceptable - they need to sort that out! As I said, the food was excellent but the front of house team need to bring it together and hopefully these are just teething problems, but we’ll be leaving it a little while before returning again.

While we're glad to hear you enjoyed the food and found our team friendly on arrival, we're really sorry that the overall experience didn’t meet expectations. We know that long waits, missing drinks, and billing issues can take away from an otherwise enjoyable meal, and we apologise for each of these missteps. As a brand new restaurant, we’re still finding our rhythm, and while that’s no excuse, your comments are incredibly helpful in highlighting where we need to improve, especially when it comes to communication, consistency, and the drinks offering. Fantastic restaurant located in Todmorden. An easy midweek restaurant to enjoy a pizza, pasta or selection of small plates with the children after school. Yet also an amazing weekend spot where you can dress up and have a date night enjoying a gorgeous selection of cocktails and wines. Will definitely be visiting again soon!

Absolutely stunning food in a stylish and welcoming setting. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavour. The atmosphere was relaxed yet refined, and the staff were genuinely fantastic – friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. A real gem in Todmorden. Highly recommended!
