We have been consistently pleased with Fraser’s Tavern. Request Seth to further enhance your dining experience. Always a good time!
Nice tavern menu. We had fish and chips and bangers and mash. Both were hot and tasty. Nice, friendly server and good service. Thanks, we will be back.
The food was ordinary and the service likewise the menu was very limited
The food took a little too long to come out. Onion rings were greasy, cold and soggy. The fries were cold and tasted like they had been sitting around for awhile.
From time entree is ordered & delivered to the table is way too long on a slow night.
Liquor & wine prices are very high compared to many restaurants outside of Sea Pines. Paying $13.50 for a glass of white wine is high when you can buy a bottle at the super market for $7.50.
FOOD IS GOOD.
SERVER WAS GREAT.
Joe is s great waiter. Food was great. They need a wine list though.
the restaurant is very nice with large windows and lots of outdoor, elevated porch sitting, but it's a golf club restaurant and not fine dining. Food was average, maybe not good. staff was very helpful and attentive. It's ok for lunch, but not a designation dinner.
Some of the best BBQ I’ve had on the island. Try the sampler BBQ Smoke plate. The brisket was perfectly smoked as if we were in Texas.
My wife had the scallops which were delicious! Will be back very soon!
Good venue. Service slow. Good food for the money. Tables by windows get great views.
Only two tables were in use for lunch at 12:30. Chef introduced himself and told us he had this position for two months. He told us the menu was going to be updated. Food was very bland and rather tasteless.
Yes, but I would not recommend the smoked dishes - ambiance is great. Food wasn't hot and my dish (smoked brisket) was barely edible. We will go back to the simple bar food on our next visit. Locale is beautiful but pricey menu should have a "better taste."
The food was wonderful. Great home made onion rings. Very attentive wait staff. Beautiful location right on the golf course
Best fries ever!! We had an amazing dinner. Joe gave us super service. The food was great. Chef Richard came over and spoke with our daughter personally regarding her allergy and help her order a great dinner. The whole staff made our dinner an amazing experience.
Wanted something that wasn’t on the menu. The Chef went above and beyond to accommodate. We also love the new menu.
Very disappointed in Fraser’s tonight. The menu has been changed and doesn’t match their online menu. Waitress said that have a new chef. Really miss the old one.
Sat at the bar tonight. Bar tender was very friendly. Our food was great. Really love the changes they have made to Frazier’s.
Our food was very tasty. I appreciated the suggestions offered by our waitress. She was very sweet. Service was very slow. Timely service seems to be an issue at this restaurant.
Ambiance (great view) food was immeasurably better under the former "Live Oak" fine dining format. Would still recommend for bar food.
Fraser's Tavern is not your ordinary Country Club dining experience. Cuisine is excellent and ambiance is more like an upscale steakhouse than a pub. Lamb chops were the best I have had in a very long time.
Always a great time for us at Fraser's Tavern. Staff and service are outstanding, and Chef Richard's specials are always worth a try. Great bar and outdoor seating as well.
Surpringly friedky, accommodating, caring
Maitre d. Food service and pricing were all a pleasant surprise. Thanks
This is a golf club restaurant with nice views of the course. We had a burger and sandwich for lunch, and both were very good. The homemade chips were excellent. Service was very good, and the price was reasonable for Hilton Head. I would return.
Food was not good. My husband had the sampler, most was inedible. I had the smoked chicken. The greens were so salty you could not eat. Had a brownie for dessert that was so tough on the bottom you could not cut with your fork. Expensive but not delicious!
We had to send the food back twice and it was still cold.we left without eating an entree or side dish.
My family and I enjoyed a nice dinner on our way home from church Christmas Eve. We have 2 teenage boys, the variety on the menu was perfect for our family. We ordered 2 appetizers, the chicken wings were the best we had ever had! The entree’s we all ordered were delicious as well. I’d highly recommend Fraser’s for a causal night out!
It seems that Sea Pines Group has not yet figured out how to serve decent food. We've tried the former Live Oak, Fraser's, Coast, and Links. None are places we would recommend to anyone or return to if the quality of food, freshness, and presentation don't greatly improve. You can get a decent burger, but certainly nothing to satisfy discriminating palates.
The Thanksgiving dinner was delicious, especially the corn pudding. Our waitress was 100% right on.
We really enjoyed our evening. Love talking to the chef.
Food was great. The chef visited the table. We enjoyed everything about dining there.
Nice restaurant located in a golf club on Hilton Head Island. Food was very good, service was great, atmosphere very nice. Overall a very good dining experience. We’ll be back.
The food and service were exceptional! The cleanliness was remarkable! Lovely experience overall!
Excellent food and service. The night before, a member of our group, a former chef, took over five minutes giving the server his order. She handled this very professionally, personally I would have told him to hit the road. She should be commended. All else was great, we came back the next night, without the “expert”.
Second time dining here. Food quality for second visit was very disappointing. One person ordered southwest salad with chicken. A whole bag is mixed greens on plate with maybe a tablespoon of roasted corn and a tablespoon of black beans that tasted like straight out of a can. Maybe 6 ounces of chicken. One person had scallops and had 3 on plate with about 1/2 cup polenta and a tablespoon of maybe spinach. 2 ordered meatloaf that was dry and tasteless. Wait person was slow. Had to ask for soup to be brought out before meal. Live in Sea Pines and will probably not go back for a meal. But possibly bar.
Great waitress, Tonya (sp) from Jamaica.
Asst mgr from London-very good.
My wife and I dined at Fraser's Tavern for lunch on Sunday. The food was good and the service was excellent.
Frasers was wonderful! Food and service were great!
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner Saturday evening. The service was good and the food tasty. We were seated in a booth, and there are high extensions on the back of the seats so you can’t see the golf course which was a disappointment. Other than that we had a great evening.
Service was excellent. We had the gumbo and Caesar salad as appetizers. Excellent! I had the short rib special. It was “fall off the bone” tender and very succulent! My wife had the risotto which was very tasty with the vegetables incorporated however rice was slightly over cooked. Beautiful ambiance.
Loved this place .... great service... great food.... awesome shrimp and grits.... I’ll be back
We had a very nice dinner at Live Oak. The general manager was personable and attentive. Service was a touch slow but we didn’t mind enjoying the view from our outdoor table. We both had fish that was fresh and well prepared. The salads were generous and very fresh. The breads were homemade and delicious- served with a honey butter. We would definitely go back!
Our experience at Live oak was very good! Food was outstanding. The ambience was quite beautiful. Wait staff was very helpful but needed further training on systematic delivery of the various courses for the meal.
