We were looking forward to having a good & convenient meal while staying at the Bracken Hide but we did not expect it to be as good as it was! The staff were super lovely, the ambience and decor in the restaurant was beautiful and the food was excellent. All the dishes we had were cooked perfectly and had great flavour. Highly recommend!

Food was excellent, service was excellent, view would have been excellent had it not already been dark (thats October for you). Only issue was how far the restaurant was from the car park! Not much fun to walk in the dark, even with the lit path.

A little outside of downtown Portree, but totally worth the visit. A different vibe from a pub, but still feels like a Skye restaurant. You can tell they are intentional about sourcing their food locally and grounding themselves in Skye's nature. We were seated closer to the kitchen and could hear the pride the chefs were taking in their food. Service was nice and the food itself was some of the best we had on the island!

We loved our experience here! The staff were very attentive and hard working. The space was beautiful and food was excellent. Being gluten free was not an issue here at all -actually had amazing options to choose from. We were very pleased with everything.

The quality of food, location, and service was excellent. My only wish is for this restaurant to be closer to where I live. I would recommend Frasers to anyone visiting Skye. It is a must reservation.

The food was excellent but only downside was the portions could have been little larger. Excellent all around restaurant. 5 stars on all aspects barring the portions. Would recommend eating here to anyone who asks. My whole group of 7 people loved it.

What a fantastic restaurant, really attentive staff, excellent service, and food to die for. The setting is stunning. The menu is really well thought out. We sampled the slow cooked beef cheeks (main), vegetable tempura and mushroom/truffle starter. Then, the Scottish breakfast (meat and veggie) and the salmon the next morning. Everything was perfectly cooked with bags of flavor. Thank you to the team

Food was excellent, staff were friendly and there was a warm ambience in the room. I had slow cooked beef which had been cooking all day and was so tender with lots of flavour and my husband had duck which was also very nice

Lovely ambience great food this is our fourth visit and will not be the last. Would like to see a slightly new menu [the odd new meal choice], but that is the only negative thing. The friendly staff always help to make it a special occasion.

We were able to eat both breakfast and dinner at this hotel restaurant and it was wonderful. Breakfast - the eggs Benedict were perfectly cooked, and delicious. Coffee was press pot, nice and hot. The dinner was truly spectacular. The duck was exquisite and the gnocchi were like nothing I have had before. The best part was the service. Our waiter George was amazing - was able to get us a taxi when the Concierge could not just by making a quick phone call. Saved the day for us! And we was also an incredible waiter, attentive and knowledgeable about the food.

We stayed onsite and this was our choice for a birthday dinner. The staff is absolutely amazing and made it a very special evening. The food was lovely, great portion size and felt like everything was very fresh. The best meal we had while on the Isle of Skye.

We had a reservation at 8:00 and were still sitting in the bar at 9:30 waiting for a table. We were so frustrated we cancelled our reservation. Now I see where they kept my deposit for making the reservation and did not refund it. We are so frustrated with our experience there!

Beautiful setting on the hill outside of Portree. Window views are delightful, as are the staff. All of Scotland is dog friendly, and they welcome dogs into the restaurant, which makes all welcome and feels like home. Lovely place with excellent food. Be sure to go!

The food was exceptional, the view, amazing and tons of gluten-free options (Dairy free and vegetarian too). Round-trip taxi from the center of Portree was only 15 pounds. If I could give them six stars, I would! Just be patient with the young wait staff.
