Fran's is a neighbourhood Italian Trattoria (casual restaurant, serving simple, regional traditional dishes in a casual, family-run setting) Known for our great value, fresh handmade pasta as well as wonderful wines & simple cocktails.
On the weekend we are open for breakfast and lunch menu until 3pm. We welcome walk-ins and no need to book, but you can book and secure your table for Lunch from 12 to 3pm Friday to Sunday and we also take bookings for our evening menu from 5pm to 10pm Wednesday to Saturday.
"We do not take reservations for Breakfast. Please feel free to walk-in!!"

We also have our Wine Bar a few doors down (Wilton Way Deli & Wines), if you would like to visit pre-dinner or while waiting for a table.

Fran's was just what we needed after a busy day... we received a warm welcome, our table was ready, the music was playing and the kitchen primed. The whole team dealt with our daughter's allergies with thorough, reassuring confidence. Food was wonderful; simple, fresh pasta, beautiful sourdough and homemade garlic butter. We will be back for more.

Wanted to love Fran’s, as such a fan of Wilton Ways Deli. It’s a really great spot, with plenty of character, and the service was spot on. Sadly, the food was quite disappointing – the quality of the ingredients was obviously low: the bruschetta barely held its form, as the bread was so thin; the tomatoes were very cheap and had no flavour whatsoever – the sort you’d get in Tesco for 50p; and the anchovies were small and underwhelming; I also had the clams, which were delicious, but the cheap tomatoes let it down. Wine was great, as was FoH. We weren’t given a bill, so when it came to paying we couldn’t see a breakdown – it wasn’t clear if service had been added, instead it was optional on the card machine – we potentially paid twice for service as a result. With better ingredients and more clarity on payment, Fran’s could be great.

Fran’s is the kind of place that makes you feel instantly at home — warm, unpretentious, and full of character. The food is simple but exceptional: fresh ingredients, beautifully balanced flavors, and a clear passion behind every dish. The staff are genuinely kind and attentive, adding to the cozy, welcoming vibe. Whether you’re popping in for a morning coffee, a leisurely lunch, or an early dinner, Fran’s always delivers. One of my favorite spots in London — a real local treasure.

We visited Fran’s Café last night as we are keen to support a local business. Our previous visit was very enjoyable, with a delicious Pasta Ragu dish and yummy meatballs. This time I ordered the steak, which was cooked as ordered (medium rare) and served on a generous bed of rocket with parmesan shavings - a tasty and overall delicious choice. The onion and tomato garden salad on the side was also enjoyable. The banquette seating looks like a comfy option and service was friendly. As local residents, we really want to see Fran’s Café thrive and become a go-to place in the area.

I'd been for dinner at it was lovely but returning for lunch was honestly a bit disappointing. I ordered the salad of the day (spelt and roasted vegetables) which arrived cold, and was mainly spelt — very little in the way of veggies and the veggies there were had bee chopped up so small they practically disappeared. The foccacia was clearly leftover from a previous service and had been toasted which honestly just made it feel/taste stale. My friend ordered the lasagne of the day which, whilst fairly tasty, was pretty dry and came with a sad amount of undressed salad. All in all, I won't rush back which is a shame because Wilton Way is lovely and the little old school booths and bistro curtain and really lovely.
