Our fresh, beautiful, cold, briny Gulf Oysters on the Half Shell are $1 each!
Service and food were excellent. Made a reservation, table was ready when we got there, waitress was prompt, friendly and attentive.
Taylor, the bartender makes the best Bloody Mary around!!
Great conversationalist. Everyone was extremely polite and the food was delicious. Had the hungry woman breakfast and chicken and waffles!
I had the Halibut and it was delicious, my husband had the filet and scallops, he said his meal was very good and rich. Our waiter was on spot , We will definitely go back .
Wow! This place is incredible. Amazing good, awesome service, and an overall great experience. Will definitely be returning!
Our favorite place!! Always the best food, drinks, service, and atmosphere!!!
You can never go wrong with FLK!!!
Had friends join us for a Christmas week dinner there. The oysters were good, the fish that one of our friends ordered (pecan crusted) was fishy tasting and not warm. the wine was terribly overpriced. My husband abs I had the seafood wedge for dinner. The shrimp was cooked well.. but overall it was not anything I would order again. Not a lot of flavor to it. It had a dressing with crab meat in it and a couple of crab claws but that was the e tent of it.
The service was slow and waiter forgot who ordered what and forgot to bring everyone coffee at the end. We had eaten there before abs it was worth another try... but probably not for a special occasion again.
We love the East Coast Oysters!! There is no where else in town that serves these and we are always happy that Frank’s does!!
Always wonderful food, delicious drink selection, and friendly service.
Always good!
The food portions were small for the $$ spent. The food was flavorful, the service was great.
We had a fabulous lunch - seafood wedge salad was divine!
It was good
Nice evening for outdoor dining
Glad we had reservations
Birthday lunch for my 89 year old mom. She picks Frank’s every year for their shrimp and grits.
It wasn’t bad. I felt the food was a little overpriced and it came out lukewarm. We were also their first customers of the night due to being early. The worst part of the experience was that we were the only customers in the restaurant and they decided to seat the second husband and wife right beside us probably less than 6’ away actually. It was my wife and I anniversary and unfortunately with a completely wide open empty restaurant we had to dine seated next to strangers. Not exactly ideal.
Great food and atmosphere! Will defer be back!
Great date night at Frank’s. Excellent shrimp and grits and nice happy hour specials.
The food, service and atmosphere was amazing! Even after I was to full to eat another bite, the dishes I saw coming to other tables made me want to come back! The musicians were talented and I enjoyed the song selections.
Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!
Our food was delicious as it always is. One of our favorite spots to go!
Food is over priced and does not taste good. The sausage that came with the shrimp and grits was terrible. It didn’t even taste like real meat and had a gritty texture to it.
Great meal! The fried oysters are still the best in town!
We enjoyed the food as always. Epic fine dining!
Menu is very good, seafood is excellent, service has been consistently good. Added bonus... a generous Happy Hour.
Thank you all for being the favorite part about my trip to Louisiana!
Good Experience with exception of slow service. Took an hour to get food at the tail end of Jazz Brunch when crowd had thinned out.
We were seated immediately. Our waiter was friendly, got our drinks quickly, took our entree order in a timely manner. Food was great. Always enjoy Frank’s.
Travelers. I was told how great the shrimp po-boys were. Was not disappointed. Took four off thr sandwich, and ate them like an extra. Perfectly cooked too. wife had shrimp and grits (her favorite). Was excellent except she didn’t share. Delicious sausage in them too.
The food was delicious as always! The biggest disappointment remains the level of service. The waitress was slow, and not very attentive. Drinks from the bar were extremely slow, and the staff seemed preoccupied with an event on the TV! No supervision was seen. This is one of the better places to eat in Shreveport, but sadly continues to be an issue here in what would otherwise be a fine experience.
Birthday dinner
Valentines. Our waiter was fantastic. No rushing us but very attentive
Crab claws for the appetizer were great, along with the 2 drinks me and my wife ordered. However, my dinner entree I ordered (Duck Confit) was severely overcooked. Almost to a dry beef jerky texture. And my wife’s BBQ Shrimp was also overcooked. The atmosphere and everything else about the restaurant was great.
Jackson our server was great! Our favorite appetizer was the crab cakes. Entrees were both a slight miss in my opinion especially the shrimp and grits. We both really liked the flourless chocolate cake with cherry sauce.
Great evening. Early dinner. Fantastic server, food, everything.
Had a fairly large group (9), but our waitress handled it with ease and a great attitude. Food was excellent and the added bonus of happy hour was icing on the cake.
This was a bad night. I ordered filet. It was not good-tough and tasteless. A bad cut of meat. The brussel sprouts were literally unrecognizable. I have been here before and had a good experience, but this wasn’t one of them. I hope this is not their new norm
Hit the place the day after the Super Bowl so there was no crowd at all. Great crab cakes and blackened redfish. Portions are not huge but the food quality is top notch.
Surprise neighborhood eatery which offered much more in the way of choices than I would have expected. It was obvious by the constant traffic that we weren’t the only ones to appreciate the change from chains without having to travel for a good dining experience.
The food was delicious!!!
Great service and food!!!
As always...satisfied!
Very disappointed in Service. Food was good, but Shrimp and Grits was cool/warm when finally arrived.
Took a very long time to get food - and as noted not hot.
Had to get up and ask manager to check on meal since the waiter was hard to find...Later advised there as a large party.., etc. I am sorry but that is no excuse for poor service. Had to beg to get check so we could leave...arrived at 7:15 - finally left around 9:45. Gumbo, Shrimp & Grits, etc. no desert. Doubt I will go back.
