Our server was perfect, just the right level of attentive and v helpful over food choices for our picky 6yo. Food was excellent. Would’ve preferred to be upstairs from an ambience pov but it was a busy shift so understandable. Thank you for a lovely Father’s Day meal.

Luckily, Franklins is quite local for us, as the food is consistently great, the menu changes regularly, so it always seems new, while retaining their signature style, and the service is always friendly and welcoming, making it a great favourite. The St Veran white wine that we chose to accompany the rillettes and brisket was delicious and matched perfectly. A great meal enjoyed by all of us, thank you!

A great atmosphere is always good, but when the food is also excellent then it’s a winning combination! Thank you for a great evening last night! We all had a wonderful time. The Cod was amazing 😎🙏

Had a wonderful evening. The waitresses were so lovely, professional and attentive. The whole atmosphere was buzzing in a really nice local families/friends enjoying a catch up kind of way.

Franklin's offers an excellent 2 course set lunch for £21.50 with 3 choices in each course and an optional dessert. Today we had rollmop and potato salad starters and chicken, cauliflower and chorizo mains. All delicious. Friendly and efficient service. Highly recommended.
