Great food, service, and atmosphere. Very enjoyable experience.
Wonderful as always!
The service was great. The chicken and potatoes were great.
Ordered a variety of meals from the menu, breading on chicken was dry and powdery, gravy was greasy, potatoes watered down, bread on table was already out in "tupperware", no vegetables with plate, only one person out of six was happy with their meal. Entire facility seemed dated and worn-out, like the German theme but could they could invest in new carpet, chairs, tables, etc. Seems like a place that was nice at one time but food quality has deteriorated and owners do not want to invest in the facility, too sad, was such a nice place at one time.
It was excellent!
I miss the beef rouladen... apparently they took it off the menu:(
The food is outstanding. The service is the best service in any restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxing and very appropriate for eating. Would recommend Bavarian Inn to anyone.
Food was ok and service was ok. A little pricey for how the food was prepared.
It was a little louder than we actually cared for and the family sitting next to us was rude.
Our 45th Anniversary. We put that in our reservation, but it was never acknowledged by the restaurant.
They put us into a very tight booth after requesting a table. I told them we requested a table and the hostess said you can sit here or wait until a table opens - maybe an hour or so....and we arrived 20 minutes prior to our 6:00 reservation.
Food was good as in previous visits, however we never received our sauerkraut... and we forgot to ask the server.
The server was very attentive.
This has now become a one and done.
The price is outrageous and not affordable.
It’s a chicken dinner and quite comparable to KFC.
My 5th time here; we got the fried chicken family style, which is what we've had every time. Horrible chicken this time- the coating was limp, greasy and tasteless. Chicken itself was so bland and tasteless- didn't taste like a grain of salt had touched it. The dressing had a good savory flavor but was so undercooked it was like a gelatinous consistency- sickening. The mashed potatoes, noodles and blue hubbard squash were very good, and the salads and bread were good. With meal, iced tea and tip, we spent about 72.00 for the two of us- definitely NOT worth this since we could only eat one piece of that awful chicken each. Very disappointing meal. I will say, the server was very good and attentive! And we enjoyed the shops downstairs.
I used to come here every holiday season with my family until the required passport law happened (we're Canadian)
Now as an adult I have my passport and I knew I wanted to make new memories here with my boyfriend.
We both enjoyed ourselves so much visiting frankenmuth and eating at the Bavarian inn
We had great service, wonderful server! Was a little disappointed had to wait for our table about 20 minutes later than reservation
Food was delicious. Adam our server was outstanding, we never waited for anything and he had refills for us within minutes.
Our dinner was amazing, service was great! The only hiccup we had was we waited 15 minutes after our reservation.
Fantastic! Great food as always. Attentive service with a great waiter.
Our waiter was exceptional! He was attentive and patient. The service was great, the German Feast was amazing! We have raven here before and will definitely come back!
Perfect place any time of year, bit holiday decor really puts you in a spirited mood. Menu very child friendly and waiter happy to accommodate special requests for our 8 and 10 year old grandchildren.
Really enjoyed the restaurant over all. My only issue was our reservation. We arrived early. Checked in. People that didnt have a reservation were sat before us. And we were sat 15 minutes after our scheduled reservation. So we actually waited way longer than those with out a reservation.
We come here a few times a year and are never disappointed. Enough yummy leftovers for a few days.
The food was great. Waitress was wonderful and attentive. Loved the experience.
Came into town and had dinner with family, this place had a fantastic atmosphere and fantastic food. we will be back.
Great road trip excursion destination!
Excellent evening entertaining family from out of town. Our table was ready and waiting and the family style chicken dinner was perfect.
Five of the six of us were first time visitors and they loved it! Our waitress was pleasant, efficient and just wonderful! All of us ordered the “assortment “ plate of chicken, beef and pork and it was top notch and yummy! Prices very reasonable. In fact, two in our group are very particular and they exclaimed over and over how great it was. Not easy to impress them but you did!
Great nostalgic place that I went to as a kid and now take my kid. Food was great and service was great too. Pricey for sure, but a memorable experience!
Cranberry sauce was very tasty, not tart at all. Had lots of apple in it. We enjoy ordering the Bavarian entre', but the current menu is too confusing. The big increase in pricing since we were there last was a big dissappointnent.
Service was great. Side dishes were good. Chicken was mediocre. Served us way too much chicken seems like a waste of good food
My husband and I have been going here for over 45 years. The last 2 years the quality of food in the family chicken dinner has gone down. The last 2 times squash had seeds stuck in it. The stuffing wasnt that good either. I miss the different varieties of veggies. They always seem the same now.
I do like the seasonal ice cream like cranberry and pumpkin but over all the meals have been disappointing.
The service is always phenomenal! I have never had a server who wasnt cheerful and helpful and welcoming.
This place is very good and staff is very friendly
Good food. Waitress was great
Party of 8 and server brought out 1 small bowl of everything. Really??? A long wait for bowls so we could all eat together. Refills took way way too long.
Great meal as always, everything was amazing
I’ll be back for sure.
We visit Frankenmuth every year, and dinner at the Bavarian Inn is part of the tradition. Food and service was great as usual!!
Bavarian Inn, ultimate family feast. The potato cheese puffs a favorite as usual as well as the seasonal butternut squash. Try the pumpkin ice cream and for goodness sake..
Make a reservation like we did. It was packed!
This was our 5th time coming in as many years (anniversary trip) and it was great overall. My only comment is that the server seemed a little rushed at first, but it sounded like she had a couple different sections, based on the comments she made.
We thought it would be similar to Zehenders but it was not.
We won’t be back.
Not our first visit to the Bavarian Inn. We live in western New York so it's a hike to Frankenmuth but when we are able to make the journey we like dine at the Bavarian Inn. We enjoy everything about this restaurant, and the city of Frankenmuth.
Reservations were made had to wait an additional fifteen minutes. It was loud and did not hear name called they went to the next person who knew we were next tg and we were seated. Our waiter was amazing and the food was comparable to cafeteria food. Soup was salty and not real homemde broth. Alot of food with no real quality or taste. Disappointing and overrated to be honest.
