    Best meal I’ve had in a very long time! So many flavors & textures that perfectly fit together in my homemade pasta dish. I do think the drink prices are ridiculously high though ($10 for a 10 oz draft beer? $15 + for a cocktail?)

    This was my second visit to Frank. First on a busy Saturday night. The food was incredible. Two of our three dinner orders were lost. Once we pointed out the issue, the staff worked overtime to ensure we were satisfied. The meals were eventually sorted, side salads and pink champagne were provided as compensation. All in all a fabulous evening with out of town friends, warm ambiance, and delicious meal. PS the recommended "ice cream sandwich" dessert alone is worth going back to enjoy again. I will be back!

    Just really not good. Very nice people working there. But they seem to be running in circles as opposed to working as a unit. To that I blame ownership and upper management as it was startingly clear that this was an environment with zero leadership. Meal started with the server letting us know the chef prefers we put our entire order in at the same time. I figured it was to properly course out the meal. Instead everything was dumped on us with no plates to eat off of. Every item was auctioned off by the staff as they didn't know/use seat numbers. All items were either underseasoned or plain boring, with the duck pastrami being the only highlight. Entrees were the same. My steak, $54 meal, was pure sinew with the jus completely underdeveloped, the potatoes rubbery and the eggplant and tomato a glob of inedible mush. At that point I preferred the chef go back to school as it was all super underwhelming. Air conditioning water dripped into my eyes and drink in multiple occasions. So that was gross. All in all it's a combustible mix of casual and high end prices with mediocre food.

    We were greeted by our server shortly after being seated and from that point on our service level was great. From ordering time to receipt of drinks and food, all were very respectable and all our food was outstanding (fresh ingredients and very flavorful). Cost was very reasonable for great quality food and nice to see the restaurant very busy. Will go back again for sure.

    Food and service was outstanding! The restaurant was very large and can accommodate a lot of people. Some seating is too tight , so we opted to move our seats and they accommodated.

    The restaurant is very nice inside and out. We sat outside. The one thing about our experience which was weird it the waitress recommended we order everything at once and the kitchen would space it out. It did not really work out to be a great experience. Our appetizers came before our drinks. Then as soon as we were finished with the appetizers the main course came out. Our experience felt very rushed. For the prices they charge I would have loved a more relaxed experience. The food was good but not exceptional. My drink was mediocre. Granted I ordered muddled cucumber with vodka and soda but it cane with all the seeds floating around. Not very appealing. Most places strain it.

    The service was so slow...which is understandable during covid. But they kept forgetting items (sugar and spoons for coffee, food (we pointed out someone still hadn't received their meal and the waitress hadn't realized) - the food was cold and stale. Honestly, it was not worth the price.

    Overall, we were very disappointed. We sat at the bar and the cocktails were excellent and the service was also excellent, but the food was a huge disappointment. We had the pate to start. It was served too cold and without crackers or bread to put it on. We each had a different pasta dish. One was made with vegetables and the other was bolognese. They were just ok. Our main courses were the biggest disappointment. We got the lobster and mussels—two tiny pieces of lobster, a few mussels out of the shell, and some confit tomatoes and a very large piece of bread with a sauce on it. Most certainly not worth $48 and not very appetizing. We’re more about quality than quantity, but this was neither. I feel like we missed something after reading all the great reviews. Maybe we’ll give it another try.

    We were really excited to go here as we always enjoyed L’Espalier. The vibe in the room was great. Great room and eclectic customers and staff. First disappointment was how long it took to get a drink …. Then we realized it took a long time to get anything. The food was disappointing for the price point. It wasn’t awful, but for $50+ entree I kept waiting for the ahah moment. I had to wait for desert for that. Then there is the $3.95 charge for bread and the 3% service charge for the kitchen staff. Evidently Frank can’t afford to pay them a decent wage and depends on his customers to make up the difference. Now, I don’t find either of these charges to be significant per se, but not advising your customers before charging them happens to be illegal (and for good reason). In any event, we were so disappointed and won’t be going back anytime soon, except maybe for desert.

    Excellent food. The nicest, good natured staff. Very good service (with a few bugs that they take in stride and immediately fix). Site is well designed, and pleasant. We will be frequent diners here.

    Delicious! The haddock chowder was amazing, and our table was quite happy with everything from burgers to fish to salads. They also offer a number of gluten-free options, including GF bread for the table.

    This was our fourth time to Frank and it did not disappoint. Our server, Renee, was great and so helpful to the member in our group with food sensitivities. Frank has some really great signature cocktails, the bread is always fresh and warm. Tonight we started by splitting a salad and building a charcuterie from the local cheese and nut offering. Our entrees were delicious, the sea bass and bouillabaisse. We finished with a shared dessert. All of the ingredients are fresh with interesting taste combinations around every corner.

    It was a perfect evening for outdoor sitting and their patio was very inviting! I could even smell the fresh herbs in the planters! Quite a treat! The appetizers were delicious, the focaccia was truly phenomenal! The wine list is aldo very interesting. I am very partial to homemade pasta so the moment is saw an item called Rigatoni with Creamy Mushroom Sauce in the menu, I didn't need to look any further! The rigatoni were good and fresh but unfortunately, the sauce was a too salty and that obliterated the richness of the earthy mushrooms on the fresh pasta. My dinner companions said the the seabass and the bluefish were great and the pork tenderloin had a somehwat unusual but very tasty rub and was cooked to perfection. Their ginger and blueberry sorbet was surprisingly fragrant and flavorful. All the service staff was very attentive and polite and Joy, the sommelier is incredibly knowledgeable! Looking forward to going back!

    We’ve eaten there before and were dazzled by everything… The wait staff, the food the ambiance etc.… This time is very different. The staff was terrific but the food wasn’t nearly as impressive as before. I had the veal rigatoni and it was too salty.. The appetizer was bland and the panacotta dessert didn’t have a lot of taste.
