Beverage I ordered didn’t arrive until after my meal was served. Appetizer we ordered never came. It was Thanksgiving, so I didn’t make a fuss. Not sure if we will return. Food was good, pricey, but good.

Was greatly disappointed. The amount of food served was vulgar, way too much, and the presentation was unappetizing. The sausage and meatballs were dry and look like they had been in the pan to long and were cold. The pasta was just piled on with the sauce as if they were trying to get rid of product., the ravioli was smothered with so much Sauce that it was more of a soup ,you could not taste the flavors of the pasta or the stuffing. The calamari was overcooked and again way too much to the point that it was unappetizing. It was not worth the $200 bill that we paid. however service was great , kudos to our waitress. We live in a predominantly Italian area, and know good Italian food very well and this was not it …..will not go back.

It’s not inexpensive but you get what you pay for. Atmosphere was great. Food was outstanding. Good size portions. Spectacular desert. Highly recommended.

The restaurant itself is nice. They had a live musician which was nice. A dinner for 4 with a bottle of wine was $224 which wasn’t bad considering. However the rigatoni was undercooked and therefore not edible and the bolognese sauce tasted like wine. The meatball was huge and very tasty. The Cesar salad was just ok. Calamari was a little chewy. We had a nice bottle of wine which I liked very much. I would def come back for the happy hour only in which all drinks are half price and they have nice appetizers.

Love the background music and upbeat busy atmosphere. Service was excellent and my chicken piccata was delicious. The appetizer special ( burratta caprese with olives and dried beef) was large enough for 4 to share.

Great place for dinner before a show or game or really any event downtown. Even worth going just to eat. Food is delicious and portions are a nice size. At certain times live music is available (but not too loud). Desserts are to die for!

Another great dining experience at Frank and Dino's. We and the penne alla vodka and it was great as usual, and also one of the chef's special pasta dishes with 5 shrimp as big as your fist! Our server, Payton, was very friendly and attentive and made our dinner an outstanding experience. Plus this was on a very busy concert night so the place was packed, but our wine, dinner, etc. came out in perfect order and timing. Frank and Dino's has become our favorite downtown dining destination!

I’ve dined here plenty of times but this time in particular was a little frustrating as it was for a friends birthday. I tried to make it a little special by bringing some balloons I had asked them to set out before we go to our table and they forgot about them. Then we found out there’s a $25 fee to bring in a cake. Just seemed a little silly considering how much our party spent. Food is decent. Waiting staff are very polite and helpful. It’s not my favorite place to dine in Lex though.

We were celebrating my daughter’s 21st birthday. Everything was wonderful. The food was delicious, the service was top notch, and it is the coolest vibe in town. The gentleman performing was so good! Thank you for making her event special!

Food great as usual! My husband had the chef’s special salmon, with shrimp, scallops and mussels in a garlic butter sauce over cappellini pasta. He said it was the best meal he’s had there yet! Our server John provided friendly, attentive service and we’ll request him next time. Frank & Dino’s never disappoints.

First I want to say I work in the industry. So by default I can be annoyingly picky. It was our 15th anniversary. The environment is great. Great for romantic dinner or family friendly with we'll behaved children. Allison was our server. She was AMAZING! She was very informed on the menu with suggestions and all. Food was amazing.large portions like your Italian grandmother is serving you. Very resonably priced. Large wine selection. No chance you can't find a pauring. We will be back! Thank you Allison for tonight.

Love the atmosphere. My husband’s veal was too tough. Mashed potatoes average. Not what you’d expect from a higher end restaurant. My meal was nothing to brag about. Maybe we just ordered the wrong thing. I would go back and try something different maybe. It was our anniversary dinner (36 years) and I put that in the app but it was never even acknowledged. Very disappointing! The person who seated us actually told us our section had no wait staff since two people had walked out that night. Service was fine though overall. We were seated in a back corner that was dark and cold. Not the best.

We chose Frank & Dinos for our engagement photos. The staff was extremely welcoming and accommodating. The drinks at the bar were delicious. Following our session, we had dinner and it was very tasty. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. We will definitely be back!

This is the third time that we have had the pleasure of dining at Frank and Dino’s but the first time during brunch on a Sunday. We were down there celebrating with our son and family. He’s a Transylvania student and often visits, Frank and Dino’s with his friends and his significant other. We had a wonderful time and actually will be back in town in three weeks and hope to dine there then again. Our server was friendly and efficient and the food as always was absolutely delicious. The entire team that works there has always been professional and pleasant. I highly recommend this establishment to all my family and friends when they’re headed to Lexington.

Sausage and peppers appetizer was amazing. Entrees were not quite the higher end Italian in flavor but overall better than most all Italian in Lexington Wife found a bug in her salad….. waiter took salad off our bill but at a restaurant of this caliber the overall response to a live bug in our food was lacking . No manager appeared…..very low key understated response.
