I loved your veal piccata and was disappointed not to see it on the menu . I did not was chicken piccata. I found the menu chicken heavy and ended up getting a Caesar salad with salmon for lack of finding anything else I wanted that day. Would like to see entrees other than chicken or pasta on the menu. Food was very good and waiter was attentive and helpful. We were seated next to the live musician, who was so loud we couldn’t hear each other, and the waiter had to yell the specials for us to hear. So overall, not an enjoyable experience and I don’t plan to return. Could be good if live music is your thing; the music was well performed, just too loud for me. We did get to move to a quieter table after a while.

To be very honest, I was feeling a little embarrassed, thinking the issue was with my party. There were a lot of big personalities within the group. But the more attention I paid, the more I saw that our server seemed a bit “off”. When I say I have NEVER written a negative review from a restaurant experience, I mean NEVER. I used to work in the restaurant industry and I know it’s tough. However, non-alcoholic drinks took over 20 mins to be delivered to our table, long after bar drinks came. The birthday girl’s Martini was never brought out (eventually I ordered one and gave it to her). Out of all of the entrees (there were 14 of us) maybe half of the guest said their food was subpar. The waiter seemed to be aggravated by nearly any requests we made once we had ordered. I felt kind of uncomfortable by it to be honest so I just didn’t ask for my refill. We had one guest that is, naturally quite loud, so I thought maybe that was bothering our server? That guest did spend a fair amount either way. One guest had beer and bourbon spilled on her as she was asked by the SA to pass drinks (that were overfilled) to others. And actually all of these things could be overlooked bc I know personally that servers have “off” days. But what changed my entire outlook on the experience was how the server acted at the end of the evening. There were a few unpaid for items that were trying to be sorted out by the server so he was announcing the items to see who they belonged to. There were two women that ordered a dish to split. We ALL heard them request that. When it was delivered we also heard the SA reassure them it was split when asked. Well our server said “that’s new news to me bc two were ordered and two were brought to you”. When a few of us spoke up to reassure him that what she was saying was correct he said “ITS FINE, ILL just PAY FOR IT MYSELF”. It was very rude. Everyone has off days, but that wasn’t the way to handle that situation.

Our first time here for an anniversary dinner and we’ll definitely be back. The fresh bread was to die for! Salad and pasta were pretty great, too. Excellent service. Highly recommend!

Delicious food and best happy hour in Lexington. Drinks are generous and happy hour is until 6 pm. The branzino was delicious as was my husband's pasta dish.

From valet parking to hostess to servers, everyone was so helpful and respectful. Great answers to our questions and personal efficient service. Food was exceptional in taste, portion, size and temperature. Beautiful venue. Very classy and enjoyable time.

This restaurant is really really good. It is our favorite Italian in Lexington. Very pretty with live music on weekends. You will not be disappointed. It's pricey but worth it.
