Mozzarella sticks didn’t even have mozzarella in them. Voodoo burger was poorly cooked. Waitress was super nice but the food was awful.
Food was outstanding and the service was exemplary
The Fish & Chips was delicious! In a party of four, two of us ordered this meal and we both agreed -- definitely an immediate favorite. Service was impeccable and prompt. Looking forward to a return visit very soon!
Used open table for a reservation. Arrived at the scheduled time. Waiting an extra 1 hour and 40 mins for a table. Left before we were seated.
Kaylie was our waitress and what a sweetheart!! Best service I have had in a long time!! Keep up the GREAT attitude Kaylie. Happy New Year
I visited Fox & Hound from NC and was hosting an Ohio State CFP party for my nieces and nephews and we had a great time. The strange thing was that even though the entire section we were seated in was clearly made up of people cheering for the Buckeyes, the management refused to change the TVs to the game except for 2 on the far end of the room (which was across the pool tables). They could not seem to grasp the idea of showing the game on one set on both sides of the room so everyone could see the game while enjoying the company of the group we were with. We left at halftime to find a better venue.
Awful experience. The staff blamed it on a cook quitting. Our food was atrocious. I called the next day to explain the situation and the manager offered a gift card that I never received. We went there on Christmas Day. I’ll never be back.
This was our first time to visit Fox and Hound. This is a true bar restaurant with an inviting sports bar appeal. The menu is not extensive but looks delicious if you’re looking for fried food and burgers. If you have someone in your party looking for a lighter meal this is not the place.
Our service was just ok, seemed like our server had a lot of tables and she did the best she could given the situation.
This isn’t top of my list to revisit but can see the appeal for other if you’re desire fried bar food items.
Stay away from the Philly Cheesesteak. I'm not sure who made the decision to change it, but it's horrible now.
I like the food offering and beer selections. Happy hour is decent. The food was just OK. The cheeseburger sliders had absolutely no flavor. They really need to make their place more visible. It can barely be seen from the main road which is very busy. It is also hard to see once you get back into the parking lot area. A new better sign is highly suggested.
Our server was attentive. Our food came out in a timely manner. Both of our meals were good. We haven’t been there for awhile and we’re glad we gave it another chance.
Unfortunately, though I have had some good experience going to the Fox & Hound at after work event, my first time going to dine there with our group of three was a disaster. Our server got multiple parts of the order wrong, forgetting to ask the kitchen to not include green onions on our tater tots, bring all the food out at once, and forgetting to put our "to go" order in that we asked her to put in when our entrees came. More than that - until I confronted the staff, they did not admit to us that they had forgotten - rather when we asked for our "to go" order and the check, they disappeared for 20 minutes. The parm fries were COVERED in parm cheese hastily done. The fish and chips - the fish was overbooked, brown almost burnt. And the broccoli side came out with HUGE pieces of garlic, not even mentioned on the menu. We never saw our server, and had to ask at the hostess station. The manager on duty at the end of the meal apologized, but not before we had decided this was a "one and done" experience. Which is too bad, since the actual restaurant itself is quite nice. While i can easily overlook a mistake, if a restaurant makes and admits it, but there were MANY mistakes, and the dishonesty about the fact they forget to put the to-go order in makes it certain that the F&H won't get a second change from me.
Really liked it. Will go back.
Surprisingly good food for a sports bar, great service, clean.
Came for Mother’s Day dinner. Waitress was nice but service inconsistent and food awful. Order constantly wrong. Got wrong appetizer, wrong meals, poorly-served French onion soup (barely anything in bowl). Food had no taste. Waitress started off apologetic but then seemed indifferent to the mistakes. Won’t be back.
I didn’t even get a chance to taste the food. We arrived for a 5:30 reservation, and were promptly seated. The restaurant wasn’t very busy, yet we sat at our table for 15 minutes without a server even approaching us, despite walking by our table several times, so we left.
We went the Fox & Hound because it was the only place still available for a Mother's Day lunch. Poor planning on my part. I will start by saying that the service was extremely slow. Not due the server, she was great. Unfortunately she was only one of two servers working that day. I commend them for doing their best. As for the food, it was just okay. Everyone thought it was fine. Just a lot of greasy, fried bar food. I will have to give the fish n chips a thumbs up tho. Huge portions.
Food was good And service was great. Would like to see healthier options. No entree under 1100 calories, and many that were double that.
We made our reservation. Walked in on time. There was no host/ess or anyone working. We saw a bartender at the bar. There were a couple of filled tables. The restaurant was more or less uncrowded. After standing and waiting for a few minutes without anyone noticing us or offering to seat us, we left and gave our business to another restaurant.
Had a difficult time getting local basketball on the TVs
Service was average. Brussels sprouts appetizer was good, French onion soup tasted good but the cheese on top was just laying in the bowl not browned and the bowl was only 2/3s filled. Pizza was terrible as the sauce was not cooked. Nachos were average as the meat was scarce and not seasoned.
They did take the pizza off the bill which was nice.
I always enjoy Fox & Hound. They have great sandwiches and burgers, and the hot-cookie dessert is To Die For. I wanted to have dinner with an old friend, but the only night we could get together was New Year's Eve - not a great night to get a last-minute table at a reasonable price. Fox & Hound was the perfect solution. Our waiter was fantastic, too, but I don't remember his name.
The food was very good. However, the service was lacking. Our server was a bit slow. Even though the service wasn't great, we will definitely be back
Manager was very friendly. Food was pretty good. Liked all the TVs with different things on them, especially the music videos and the trivia.
Good but can be improved on service and quality of food
Over cooked and dry food. Service was great though! Loved the ambiance.
Bad for handicap access and seating.
Too loud HORRIBLE music. Average food.
Our server Erin was great. All staff were friendly and welcoming.
My burger was not cooked, the server took it back immediately, and another one was made. The manager brought it to my table, and apologized.
The food is okay (the pretzel bites and fries tasted like they were frozen, which was a disappointment).
Beers were great and cold. Good place to take a family, and the staff was wonderful.
Amazing service and even more amazing food! It's my 10 year old son's new favorite restaurant! I had the voodoo burger with loaded tots. So much food ended up taking half home. And that never happens. One of the best burgers I've had.
Jenny was Awesome!
Food was pretty bad, I had chicken and it was so rubbery. I asked the server if it was a frozen chicken patty because it was so bad. She asked the kitchen and they confirmed it was, her advice to me was “maybe order the burgers next time”. There won’t be a next time. Seriously, get somewhere else unless you’re looking for subpar bar food. Kids menu had mold on it. Literally. They sat us in the bar with young children, servers congregated around hostess stand not taking the job seriously
We took a client and her son here for lunch, at her request. The room was a little loud, but the service was great, the food was good and the portions were huge. We will be back!
We sat in the area without the bar. When the hostess went to seat us, there was food and grease all over the seat. I asked for another booth. The waitress was very nice and did a good job. The food was above average. The worst part was when a woman that said she was the bar manager come over to our table. She was very sloppily dressed. She literally “plopped” down on the booth seat very close to my husband and put her arm behind him and rested it on the back of the seat. Made him extremely uncomfortable. She stayed for what seemed like an eternity. She just talked and talked about the restaurant. I can’t even remember what exactly she said. Because of that, we will never go back.
The food and service were great, and they even have 2 pool tables to shoot pool on. I avoid gluten and although they do not offer a gluten-free menu, it is easy to determine what is gluten free on the menu.
