My food came out first and then it took forever for my boyfriend to get his food. He had only ordered nachos and boneless wings. He ordered the whiskey barbecue boneless wings but when he got them, they were super spicy due to them actually being tossed in chipotle barbecue. We ended up asking for to-go boxes for his food because we had been there for too long. I’m not sure why service was slow because there wasn’t any other customers in there.

We had gone here to celebrate a 70th birthday. We ordered drinks and waited about 30 minutes and still didn’t have them so we left the restaurant. So very disappointed 😔 with the service. If they had just come and let us know what was happening we might not have left.

Horrible experience. We were on time for our reservation, but stood at the door with no host or hostess at the booth to greet or seat us. A waitress walked right past us and didn’t even greet us or let us know where to go, or tell us someone would be with us. We left and went across the street instead. Much better service and the food was delicious. I wouldn’t recommend Fox & Hound Huntersville to anyone.

Fox & Hound accepted my reservation through OpenTable, but they were not set up to accommodate them. Only the bar area was open and there was no host or hostess on duty. Not a problem, I just wish they would have not been accepting reservations if they couldn't take them. I went with out of town guests to watch a NCAA Final Four game, and we got VERY lucky to find a recently vacated table in the bar area. However, once seated we had an excellent experience. The food was good and prepared well, the service was fast and friendly, and the drinks were prepared well. Overall, a good experience. Just make reservations at your own risk. You may want to call to see what the situation is first.

We were seated immediately which was nice. The restaurant wasn't that busy and our order was taken quickly but then it took almost 45 minutes to get our food. We did have a party of 8 but it was not clear as to why it took so long to get the food given that it wasn't that busy. The food itself wasn't very good. The chicken sliders had a tiny dollop of sauce on what was otherwise dry buns. I'd requested the slaw on the side but never received it. The nachos were somewhat burned, there was a tiny bit of melted cheese, a few chopped tomatoes, and the "chili" that was supposed to come on top was more like just ground beef. The cheese in the children's grilled cheese sandwiches was pretty bad, I am guessing maybe it was the American cheese slices that come in those plastic wrappers? But tasted pretty bad. The tater tots were good. Some of the food wasn't very hot by the time if finally came out. The server was attentive for the most part. It was very loud but, to be fair, it is March Madness season and it's a sports bar. We probably wouldn't return again.

We went on Valentine’s day expecting something kind of nicer, busier and generally a better restaurant considering the price. Every Item on the menu was above $15 and all I got was a burger and tots. I’ve had better burgers at sheetz or a barbecue joint. We ordered nachos for an appetizer, they weren’t bad. Our waitress was fine but they took forever to get our food out and the restaurant was empty. Our waitress said it was her second day so she did very well for being so new but the kitchen and other staff could step it up!

Several days before Christmas, we made a reservation on Open Table for Christmas Day at 6:15pm. Two hours before our reservation time, a staff member for the Fox and Hound call us to tell us that they were cancelling our reservation due to staffing issues! Our Christmas dinner was cancelled by the restaurant, leaving us no time to make alternate plans and with no offer of even a comp meal. Not ok.

I'd recommend maybe getting a cheeseburger or pizza.. don't know.. i had the fish and broccoli (instead of fries) and coleslaw.. the tarter sauce was like a cup of mayo so the waitress graciously ran and brought me some chopped pickles so I could mix it in there. the fish was over cooked. The server was the only thing good about it and I her name was sarah. then a party of 4 sat next to my table and proceeded to loudly talk about mens private parts and swearing every other word ... and of course this is not the restaurants fault..but let's just say not my idea of enjoyable dinner.

The place is dirty looking. Greasy I cleaned and raveling carpet. It needs a facelift up to modern times. The food was bland and my chicken was burnt. Our server was super kind, which made things better.

We first learned of Fox and Hound when lived in Wichita, KS for several years. We loved eating there. Imagine our excitement when we learned there was a Fox and Hound in Huntersville. Well unfortunately, this F&H is not of the same quality as the one in Wichita. The food was okay at best. The restaurant seemed less than clean. The wait staff were friendly but not what I would call attentive. All in all, an underwhelming experience. We were disappointed.

We were looking for a quick bite after an appointment in Huntersville. Being that it was 6pm on a Friday, we made a reservation. I highly recommend you do this. It was fairly slow inside when we arrived but outside was PACKED and inside caught up before we left. Food was excellent. Hubby loved his krytonite margaritas (huge and the drink special). Sliders, tots, the dilemma, fries, and pretzel bites were all very good. Service was a little slow but super friendly and, as I said, they were super busy. We will definitely be back. Great pub food menu with lots we still want to try.

Our family went to Fox and Hound for dinner. This was our second time here. We had great service and the food was really good. We had pretzel bites, sliders, and chipotle and it was all delicious! Pricing was reasonable. We will be returning.

The ribs was cold especially in the middle. Wasn’t heated up well. The wings were previously frozen again wasn’t heated well If you’re going to serve heated food at least make sure you heat up well.

Was a great place for a family dinner - kid friendly & plenty of space. Our family of 6 was able to have a private table and didn’t feel presence other families dining nearby. The wait staff were attentive and food was good. It is pub grub, so not our usual family dinner fare, but was perfect place for a quick dinner outing on the fly with no wait using Open Table.
