Earn it. Enjoy it. Cheers to the livelong day! We believe “today seems like a good day for a beer.”
Great service, beer and food. Great place!
We had a long fun night at FDR. My husband started there with happy hour and friends at 4:30 and then we had dinner with another couple at 6:30. Tracy was great and helpful throughout the whole evening, she waited on us/him the whole time and kept the bar bill straight with all the coming and going. This is a regular spot for us and we will certainly be back.
Food was good but service was less then desirable. Our server seemed to disappear frequently and we always had to ask for soda refills after glasses sat empty for some time.
The beer is some of the best in Indy in my opinion. The food is good, I do wish there were a few more options that did not include greasy bar food. My husband liked it so much we went two Fridays in a row!
I have eaten here a handful of times and the service has consistently been really slow. The food is good and the atmosphere is what you would expect.
I liked my food, but my wife didn't really like hers. The beer was decent.
Very noisy, but great food combinations. Beer is served very cold, with their own craft beers and other local brews. Great outdoor dining area in-season.
Four Day Ray's is a frequent destination for us for patio dining in nice weather and inside dining any other time! We've tried quite a few of their food options and have always thought "yum!" Staff is friendly and accommodating! All-around experience very good!!
Had reservation at 830, went to watch Colts game and it was a Birthday dinner... Immediately the server was frustrated because we wanted a table that would allow all to watch the game (many tables available). Was told we needed to hurry and order because kitchen was closing (host said on arrival no worries because bar was open until 10p. At 9:05 we were given last call... Frustrating we have always enjoyed the atmosphere and staff at prior visits. Maybe should not take a reservation at 830 if you aren't going to honor your hours until 10p. Poor service. Won't return.
My first visit and it was lunch during the holidays! Loved it and we were able to talk too!
Very busy so this is good sign for future!!
We were on 2nd floor & waitress had to go to main floor to get one of our beers & possibly food. Fries should always be served hot & crispy & these were neither. Rest of food was nothing to come back for.
We love dining here. The tacos are fantastic!
I was promptly seated upon arrival, our server was friendly and attentive, and the food was great!
Awesome beer & cocktails.
Wonderful innovative menu!! Love the lobster corn dogs!! Desserts are amazing!! Great value!
The food was just ok. Nothing spectacular. Which was disappointing. The beer was not very cold. Our server was great so that was a plus. 1st timer and I more than likely would
Not go back.
Amazing restaurant with in a great location! Everything we had was wonderful! Best tenderloin in Indiana!
Sat at the bar on a Friday. Busy evening. Service was decent. Food came out quickly. Burgers were cooked properly. Good quality meat. Fries were a bit cool. Beer was fantastic (Peanut Butter Porter and Laplander Blonde).
Great experience. Awesome chef!
We came in for dinner on a Saturday night with a group of 6 people to celebrate my birthday. Made a reservation and got seated right away. We sat upstairs in the back room and had a good TV view for the football games on that night. Our server even made sure the game we wanted to watch was on the TV in front of us. The first beer I tried to order was out for the night (which was disappointing) but the server made a recommendation which turned out to be a very tasty beer. Food was good, I tried the special for the weekend which was a patty melt with fried green tomatoes. It was excellent! Since it was a brewery I tried to order another beer later in the meal to try something new but it had just ran out for the evening. Overall the food and service were very good and the only disappointment was that 2 out of 3 beers that I wanted to try weren’t available. Will definitely return for the good food!
Great dining, drinks and service. Our server Michelle is always wonderful and gracious
My husband got a burger with bacon so hard he couldn’t even bite through it. He didn’t eat his burger.
Had a very pleasant dining experience. There were 4 of us; and all four had been to FDR previously. We noticed some new items on the menu and tried them. My burger was outstanding. Cooked just the way I ordered it.
Beers were delicious. Food is always good, however, this time one of our group ordered a burger well done. When she cut it was medium rare. She returned it and by the time she finally
got her new order we were all done eating. I expressed our dissatisfaction at the length of time it took to get the correct order. A manager came to our table and apologized and also did not charge for her burger. This is not the norm and we have always been satisfied with the service, quality of food and staff. We enjoy coming to FDR and will continue in the future
We had a good experience, but the food was just ok. I liked their homemade tater tots, however was a little dissapointed with the quantity for the cost. As a brewery, they have a great selection.
Four Day Ray has a very laid back environment. The service is beyond slow. We booked this for a friends birthday. It took almost two hours to serve 6 people food and drinks. So, if you are not in a hurry and want a chill place. Four Day Ray's is it.
Oddly, we ate at Four Day Ray 5 times in the last two weeks. It was convenient for our clients and for us. Food and service were great each time.
Indiana tenderloin at its best! Awesome! I would recommend it to everyone.
This was our first time at this restaurant. It was a Saturday early evening. Even though they were busy, our waiter was attentive and very pleasant. The food was excellent. We will definitely be back.
Good experience. Will return and try some other menu items
Knowledgeable, friendly staff and an inspired menu of food and beer in a fun atmosphere. House specialties such as the "baller" tots and the smoked-then-fried wings are delicious on their own or paired with a recommended beer.
I really want to give Four Day Ray a glowing review. Truly! If you're headed there with a small group, you'll likely have a great experience, despite the fact that the place is overflowing on weekends. Make sure you make a reservation! However, I had a party of 10 that wanted to book a table on Saturday night. First, I consulted Open Table and the app told me I had to call FDR for reservations 10 or larger. Ok, fine. I call the restaurant and am directed to use Open Table for reservations...well, I already tried that! So, the hostess consults the manager. I can tell she's young and unsure. When she returns to my call, she tells me that they don't take reservations and I'll just have to chance it. I make a reservation for 8 people anyway and hope it won't be a huge problem to add two people. Once we get to the restaurant - mind you, it's 8pm on a Saturday - we must wait 15 minutes for our table even though we had a reservation. Finally, we're escorted upstairs where there are MULTIPLE open tables. We ask our server about adding two chairs - he's fine with it. Finally, our service was okay. The server seemed overwhelmed by our table. And, promptly at 9:30 - he brought everyone their checks. No one had asked him for their check. He was basically kicking us out and telling us we had to move downstairs. Ok, fine. But why not say it? Overall it's a fun place but I'm terribly disappointed in the customer service. While some staff seems like they've been in the service biz for quite some time, it's clear that they're NOT trying to go out of their way for the customer. From our second table, we could also see the kitchen door opening and closing, and employees sitting on countertops and eating food in the kitchen area. I truly want to love this place but the execution is poor.
This was my second time. The tacos are so good especially the fish. I didn’t have the beer but people in my party enjoyed it. Will return.
Great experience. Good gluten free options. The beer is great!
Great food/beer variety.
Our server Joseph was Excellent. Thank you for the great service. Will definitely be back
Food and service was good but screaming kids near the bar became annoying
Live music was great and good excellent as well!
Way overpriced beverages. Won’t go again because of that. Food is good. Server tried to upsale everything and the drink costs are ridiculous. No thanks. I’ll go elsewhere next time.
Good drinks and good food! We loved the trio sampler appetizer. I got the white cheddar BQ burger! Yum!
