Our Pennsylvania-inspired farmhouse restaurant is located in the lively King of Prussia Town Center. Open 365 days a year serving delicious food and drink from scratch with high-quality ingredients from farmers and suppliers we know and trust.

Had been to one of these in Washington DC but our first visit to the one in King of Prussia. Parking was a bit of a challenge but we found a spot about a block and a half away. Atmosphere was energetic with nice and interesting decor. Upstairs is the restaurant, downstairs the bakery and creamery. Service was attentive and prompt. Menu offers lots of great options. Food was terrific, as expected following our experience in DC. We had an Opentable reservation but still had to wait about 10 minutes for seating. Would highly recommend. We'll be back to this one.

My group of 6 friends enjoyed a lovely evening catching up at Founding Farmers. We fit well in a booth without feeling squished. We were seated in the back room, which is surrounded by windows, giving the feeling of eating outside, but with air conditioning! The food was good…chicken pot, chicken risotto, bakers pizza and salad and honey chicken were all great!

Had a reservation as this was a business lunch. Seating was a bit slow, but it was very busy so understandable. The main issue was the service overall. Our server was not even marginally attentive. He took our order. The appetizer (a single order of deviled eggs) took about 15 minutes to arrive which is fine. However, it was another 40-45 minutes for the main lunch meals (there were 4 of us all with different variations of salad dishes). We had to work to get the waiter's attention for any interaction. We were told twice that the food was "coming right out" and "the kitchen just got very busy". When we did get the food, one of the meals was wrong so it had to be replaced. My business guest had ordered the chicken salad. He found two rather large bones in it. There may have been more, but he stopped eating at that point. When he politely pointed it out to the waiter (who it took us nearly 5 minutes to call over), there was no semblance of customer service as a response. The response was "Sir, we make our chicken salad from the whole chicken here". I'm fairly certain that deboning is a goal of the kitchen when making its chicken salad....just guessing. I am pretty forgiving when it comes to lunchtime service in a busy restaurant, but this was the worst waiter service I've experienced in decades. The food was average. I didn't dislike my salad with herb chicken, but I can't say that I really enjoyed it, either. I'd try here again for dinner but, honestly, I am going to avoid it for the busy lunch hours if I have a business client along.

We brought an out-of-town guest. This was our first time dining here during the week and the difference in the crowd made the experience much more enjoyable. The food is consistently delicious.

Founding Farmers did an excellent job handling our large party of 15 for an early Sunday dinner. We were seated in a semi-private area with plenty of room for all of us to be comfortable yet cozy enough for all of us to be able to talk without having to shout across the table or over background noise. The food was (as usual) outstanding; everyone was very happy with what they ordered from apps, to dinner, to dessert. For those that chose to partake from the bar, the cocktails/drinks were top-notch. And as expected, the service was first-rate. We were checked in on often, our food came out promptly but with enough time to enjoy each course. For large groups or just a date night, you can't go wrong here!

You might think "fresh" would describe the food when the name of the restaurant is Founding Farmers, but don't be fooled. The menu is both carb heavy and cafeteria level quality. After striking out on three selections (sold out) we landed on a catch of the day; fish was passable but sat on a bed of gluey, leaden risotto. The eggplant parm lacked eggplant so they pretended by filling the bowl with sauce and a half pound of cheese. Chewing the chicken in the third entry provided exercise for my husband's jaw muscles. Watery broccoli accompanied all. This meal was served to us perhaps 5 minutes after ordering; hence the cafeteria concept, as it had clearly been sitting around the kitchen way too long. To complete our experience we were seated behing a plastic wall of a serving station (many nicer tables were open) and were waited on by a server with a healthy dose of attitude, and at one point was actually drinking as he walked through the restaurant when we tried to get his attention to get our check and get out of our misery. He didn't bother to clear our plates, just stuck his hand held device over the service wall into my husbands face. Buh-Bye.

I feel the concept is great, the food is above average but it lacks. It was so cold in the restaurant from the AC that people were moving seats but management couldn’t pick up on that as it’s too cold. So it was hard to enjoy my Meal which in return makes it seem over priced for what you get.

The mac & cheese with bland, which was the first time we’ve had it like that and the fried chicken and waffles meal was OK, the food wasn’t as flavorful and fresh as it used to be. But The cheeseburger sliders were really good and the salmon was good.
