Fossetta is a natural wine bar and restaurant in the Lower East Side. Charlene Santiago (formerly of The John Dory Oyster Bar and Reynard) and Josh Even (Tosca Cafe in SF, Breslin Bar & Dining Room, The Spotted Pig) have curated a menu of Sourdough Focaccia, Antipasti, and House-Made Pastas influenced by the flavors of Italy and the Mediterranean. The oft-changing wine list features natural wines from small producers from around the world. Large garage doors provide a casual indoor/outdoor European appeal. Come for a glass of wine and snacks, or enjoy a full dinner, or celebrate a special occasion. Open for Lunch and Brunch as well!

Fossetta is great for dinner. Their chicken liver pasta and cocktails are delicious! I recently went for brunch and had slower service and our pancakes were burnt twice. Hoping this is an anomaly!

We had a great meal at Fossetta. Food was delicious - everything from focaccia, salad, pasta and fish was amazing. Service was also fantastic and wine selection by the glass was great. We will definitely be back

Not bucatini, just spaghetti that night. Mention it rather than everyone being underwhelmed. Lingered at the entrance while nobody addressed us or acknowledged us for minutes. Folks behind the bar and at the nominal front desk on their phones. Waiter v. nice but order incorrect. Again, just spaghetti. Fresh tomato sauce but ingredients did not seem cooked together just finished with guanciale before serving. V. pretty room. No need for reply. I dont want Open Table to publish feedback. I hope all restaurants in the city succeed.

Everything we ordered was delicious, our waitress was charming and was able to answer any questions we had both in wine selection and food choices as well as portion sizes so we could gauge how much to order. Everything came in good time and was beautifully presented. All the staff were great. Would definitely recommend
