We love Fork.
Excellent food and a wonderful server! Great restaurant!
The food was AMAZING!!! But, it took forever to get it. We had a reservation and even with that it took 25 minutes to get seated. Once seated and ordered, still took another 45 minutes to get our food. Tasted great, but it took WAY too long for any restaurant standards. Reservation was for 8:00p and we didn't get our food till 9:15p, and this was a Tuesday night, not even their busiest night I'm sure. I'd think twice before going back or recommending it, but it was some of the best tasting food I've had in a while.
Love this place!
Made a reservation and expected to sit outside. When we arrived they told us outside seating was first come first served. Disappointed as we would have felt safer due to COVID being outside.
Fork NEVER disappoints! Food is always amazing and the service top notch! Can't say enough about Jeremy . . . Bartender AND Waiter!
Great salmon BCS salad and crisp white wine. Delicious meal
Everything was so amazing!! The food was delicious our waiter was amazing! Definitely would love to go again when in town!!
Fork was a disappointment. Food was overcooked and over salted. The drinks were light on alcohol and the place is full of flies.
The food was so good on thursday night that we went back on Friday night for seconds! I particularly like the lamb pops and the mashed potatoes. The fried asparagus was also delicious yummy yummy yummy wish we lived closer. We were just visiting Boise from our home in San Jose.
I wish we had known that you can make a reservation 15 minutes before they close because I never would have come in that close to closing. It was obvious they were trying to get us out of there as quickly as possible and that took away from the customer experience. Our main entree was brought out within 3 minutes of ordering and without an appetizer, it just made the whole experience feel rushed. The food was amazing and so were the cocktails but I never would have planned on spending that much on a 45 minute experience.
Absolutely delicious, great service.
We went for our 14th wedding anniversary!!! It was nice and the food was good. Our waitress was super nice and very attentive!!!
An all-around perfect experience. The Idaho trout & mashers were perfect & the short ribs some pf the most flavorful & tender ever had. Wonderful atmosphere/great interior design & service.
Liked the larger light fixtures where you could still see but still intimate. Don’t miss the warm butter cake for dessert! Outstanding wine list - found some Idaho wines we liked very much!
We had to return 2 roasted chicken dinners because they were cold. So of course we didn't get our dinners until the other 2 guests had already eaten theirs! The waitress (who's names was Jennifer who we liked very very much) said I took 2 chicken dinners off your tab. When we got the bill they were on there so we asked and the very rude manager came over and said "we took them off but then we put the new ones on". She was extremely loud and rude. She said "do you want me to remove them" so we said yes and she crumpled the bill up and stormed off. That is the last we saw of her. She made the waitress deliver the new bill. We have been dining there for a long time and brought some friends from out of town. I was shocked that a manager would act that way. It was so unprofessional. I don't know her name but I am sure you know who it is. It was last Sunday night. It was my favorite restaurant. Not anymore sadly.
Amazing as always! My daughter and I love the brunch and...the butter cake! Great service.
Fork is a 10/10 experience. The food, drinks, ambiance and service is unmatched. Whenever I visit Boise or have friends/family visiting, Fork is a MUST for the itinerary.
Our food and service was amazing! My husband and I can’t wait to go back.
Fork is one of our favorite restaurants in Boise. The staff is consistently friendly and efficient. The food is delicious and we like that they support local food suppliers. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. We recommend Fork in Boise to all of pur friends.
Our waiter, Tyler, was very rude and not attentive to our table. It took about an hour before we actually got to order our food, and while we were waiting for our check, he went to three other table that got there after us and checked them out. Then when we were trying to hand our cards back to him, he walked right passed our table when we were physically trying to hand him the checks/cards. Then, one of my guests that also works in the food industry, tried to voice her concern and give feedback, and Tyler just responded very sarcastically and passively, "Aww thank you!" which put the poor service over the top.
The same guest that voiced her concerns took our checks into the bar since it was obvious that Tyler was ignoring our table, voiced concerns to the bar about the poor service, and the manager called and apologized for the poor service, but with as bad as it was, he didn't offer anything to make up for this other than his apologies.
I've been to Fork a few times in the past and I have NEVER had such poor service. If I ever do make my way back to Fork, I will be sure to request that Tyler is not waiting our table. The food and drinks were great, but the poor/rude service out-weighed this. It was a birthday celebration that went south and I was very displeased with the service.
Heather was wonderful: helped get us to the host station & ended up being ours! Engaging, quick & had a great sense of humor. Will be back next time we're in the city!
so yummy!! favorite place in town!
We went during vacation to Boise. They had their Tuesday special of chicken and waffles. The butter and the syrup were unique and the combination of all the flavors was great! The asparagus fries appetizer was very delicious! The ravioli was light and tasty and the warm butter cake was worth getting! Everything was delicious!
Fork never disappoints! My out-of-town visitors loved their meals and experience. We ordered six different dishes and each was perfection. Our server was excellent, he gave great recommendations and was very attentive. Looking forward to returning soon.
Family get together!
Great menu and service.
Food was delicious.
Overall we had a great time and will go back for sure.
Highly recommend this restaurant!
The restaurant was amazing and the food was so good! I wish they would relax on the masks a bit, especially outside. Otherwise a great experience.
Great food, great service. Ask for Jeremy
Always a favorite for us. I had the brisket sandwich and loved it even though the brisket was just a little dry.
Definitely going back!
The food is always delicious and the service friendly. I have never been disappointed, lunch or dinner.
We had a great meal and our server was outstanding. Loved the butter cake.
The food was absolutely amazing!!! Great service!! I will definitely be dining here again and recommending to my friends and family.
As always, the hospitality and service was 5 stars. Shannon is friendly, polite and always recognizes our needs before we discover them. We are long time patrons of Fork. It’s like the TV show Cheers, “where everyone knows your name.” The staff is always excited to see us and eager to say hello.
They are strict about wearing a mask, social distancing, safe food handling and keeping everyone safe happy and healthy. We felt very comfortable dining at Fork during the pandemic.
We enjoyed the Asparagus fries, North West Crispy Chicken Salad and the Grilled Cheese Fondue. Some of our most favorite items. No, we didn’t have the butter cake, YES it will CHANGE YOUR LIFE.
If your a first time dinner, get the Asparagus fries or Artichoke (available seasonly), the Urban Burger with Bacon and white cheddar and Rosemary Parmesan French fries and then finish with the Butter Cake. Pro tip - get an extra scoop of ice cream (Vanilla or Strawberry) on the butter cake!
Always great !
Limited menu Service was slow and the food wasn't very good
$35 for Prime Rib with a small cup of potatoes on the side and no veg was a little disappointing. But overall still one of our local favorites.
Great service !
Terrific food on the Covid friendly outdoor patio. Great service.
Great food and setting. We love eating outside at The Fork!
