It was a great restaurant service was awesome and the food was great, only complaint was the portions were a little smaller than I would have liked.
As always, had a wonderful sitting a the bar and enjoying the atmosphere that goes with it. The Bartenders a VERY friendly and remember you. The food is VERY good although the veggie sides are rather small portion for the price. It's great people watching fodder. More of an adult atmosphere and great choices of drinking options. The WHOLE staff from the top down are AMAZINGLY friendly and nice. You get cheered up just being around them for a short while.
The wait staff was awesome, and the food was very good - you MUST try the asparagus fries!
A bit overrated. Food was good. Service was good. They are definitely pushing to turn the tables, which was annoying. Not really as good as stated online.
Usually the food is really great but this time it was a bit lack luster.
The short rib was the best short rib I have ever had and the butter cake was unreal. Top restaurant to go to in Boise.
Amazing food and creative cocktails. The server was friendly and courteous.
Exceptional food at reasonable prices! Please do not change a thing.
We've been to Fork many times as we have kids at BSU. The last couple of visits have been disappointing. While the service was great, the food was just so-so. Fork has gone from being our favorite restaurant in Boise to one that we probably won't bother going back to.
Excellent service, great food.
Love it the first time. Food was just okay. Prime rib tough, tri tip steak tough, bread dry. Great atmosphere in the middle of vibrant Boise downtown scene. We’ll give it another try then done.
Family Weekend for our Bronco!
Our family enjoys going to Fork on a regular basis. But tonight was exceptional... primarily because of Sebastian’s service. He was very engaged and extremely accommodating and patient with us. We really enjoyed our evening. Thank you!!
The Steak was prepared beautifully. The tri tip salad was not good, the meat was over cooked and full of fat. The salad was wilted and vegetable not fresh. The waitress had standard service, not very friendly.
We had heard great things about Fork but the food we were served did not live up to the hype. Food was over or under cooked. It would have been nice to have something green on the plate. I get that it is Idaho but way to heavy on the mashed potatoes.
Although it’s received great reviews, I found it to be just okay. Asparagus was way over cooked, my husband’s chicken was undercooked. The only entree I enjoyed was the salted caramel bread pudding. Just not a great value, could be quite loud if the restaurant were busy.
Meet some friends for Sunday brunch and the choices were fabulous! Everyone loved their plates. Service was spot on.
Busy local scene. Food did not live up to its reviews, good but not exceptionally memorable
We had a nice time at Fork restaurant, the food was really good, the appetizers were great and the filet was perfect, excellent meat and cooked to perfection. the minor things that made me rate it 4 star was that there was no potato dish served with the filet, fries or smashed potatoes were $5 extra which I think was weird, should have been included. Without it you just get a great filet (8 oz.) and some green beans, not enough to fill you up. And I am not a fan of the Parmesan seasoned fries, the first couple are okay but after that the taste of the cheese is too overwhelming. I also found it a bit overpriced, $200 (excluding tip) for two appetizers, 4 filets and 3 glasses of red wine is a bit high in my opinion.
Came for the Tuesday night special, Chicken and Waffles. Get there early before they run out as this dish is quite popular. Outstanding as usual.
Fork is a cornerstone in the Boise dining architecture. It's in a great location, epitomizes the farm to table experience, and showcases the convivial spirit of downtown Boise.
Great meal and service. We were given a free appetizer of asparagus fries and the butter cake for my birthday was sooo good! Awesome meal.
Went for Sunday brunch. Had to wait despite having reservations. Great food. Service was very slow.
Food and service were both great
My husband and I enjoyed our trip. We definitely hope to come again. The entire restaurant had that authentic Boise feel and the food tasted very good.
Best filet I have had in years. Fried asparagus was wonderful. Wine selection perfect. Waitress very knowledgeable about food and wine. We are from Dallas. Wish I could find a place equal to this back home.
Fun was had by all, attentive service no long waits or lulls and the food presentation spot on without being pretentious.
Go, visit, imbibe, dine, you will not be disappointed. They even put beets on the house salad for my daughter and my husband and I shared a plate, not all restaurants do that so that was nice.
Always have an amazing experience at Fork, love the local gem that it is!!
Fork is great for their fresh seasonal menu, handcrafted drinks and a great setting. The staff is always helpful and friendly and is my go to spot for birthdays, special occasions or just because!
We have eaten at Fork many times. One of the best restaurants in Boise. It seems to get better with new offerings and improved recipes. We celebrated our mother's 83 birthday there and had a splendid time. The service was excellent and waitor was very helpful. We shall continue to return.
3 generations of our family enjoyed a lovely birthday meal for my husband. Asparagus appetizer was delicious, and provided each of the 4 adults with 3-4 spears each. Bar drinks and wine were excellent. 2 ordered the beef short ribs, which they both enjoyed -- only negative was that the mashed potatoes were somewhat dry. The vegetarian loved her artichoke ravioli. Granddaughter wasn't wild about her kids' spaghetti and meatballs, instead concentrated on fruit salad. My petit filet was cooked to a perfect medium rare and bourbon-porcini-peppercorn sauce was excellent. Our server (Bekka?) was excellent.
This is the second time we have been to Fork. Food was amazing both times! The only complaint I have is that their menu is very small, unless you go after 4. The few things they do have before 4 are very good. We plan on visiting again after 4 to get the full experience and try new menu items! Service was ok both times...not extremely impressed.
Every staff member we encountered was friendly and efficient. Our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. As always, food was delicious.
Food was delicious! Service felt like it was amateur night. However, it didn’t ruin our evening. Will be back :)
Really enjoyed this. Would recommend to anyone visiting Boise. Was great. Amazing service
Ended up here as it was close to the AirB&B we were staying at. Nice surprise to find Teton Whiskey (better than WY whiskey!). Split the Brussels sprouts and half roasted whicken. Fast service. Very friendly wait staff. Will come back to try more of the menu next time we’re coming through Boise
Great food and good vibe - will come back again soon
