Dining at Fork is a must for me any time in Boise. I have yet to be disappointed in any way. It is the quintessential epicurean experience for anyone who enjoys using all 5 senses at meal time.
The food is excellent. Really appreciate the use of high quality, fresh ingredients; you can taste the difference :)
Nice Local Place. Will return. Fun cocktails!!!!!
The Fork is always delicious and the service is always great!
Great food. We've eaten here almost every time we've gone to Boise. Always been happy with everything served and the servers who bring it out.
My salad was very good, but they need to change their huevos rancheros recipe.
That being said, we have been to Fork a lot, and this is an anomaly. We normally really enjoy everything.
Their food is always amazing, but the asparagus fries are a must, and if you are there on a Tuesday night, get the chicken and waffles! Those and a butter cake and its heaven. Enjoy!
Kale was way over salted. My server was very “absent”. Never offered me a drink. Last time I went (first time) I sat at the bar and my experience was much better.
Great meal with friends. Recommend everything on the menu but have to rave about the Asparagus fries.
Was a great lunch, the food was really good, was such a good lunch that I will at least return one time per month. Love it. The only thing was that at the time we took lunch was a little high noise (is not fault of the restaurant just the people) but apart of that 10/10.
This time our favorite brunch place disappointed us and I am not sure if we would go back. We placed our order within 10 minutes of sitting down and our food came out an hour later. I mentioned it to the manager who seemed to not care and said I will go and check. That was it. My husband’s potatoes were barely warm, when he mentioned it to our server, Zachary, he just took it away and brought a nee plate which wasn’t too much hotter. We had to chase him down for more coffee and at no point in time did we get an explanation on what had happened nor an apology. They comped my husband’s meal without mentioning it and that was it. They sure lost our business and the one of our friends that were with us.
The Prime Rib and Ravioli were only surpassed by our servers attention to detail and courteous demeanor. We loved the staff, they sat us immediately 1/2 hour early and kept us entertained during a bit of a wait for food. They provided two absolutely amazing deserts free for the wait and we hadn’t even noticed. The bread pudding made me want to move to Boise!
I have had better meals st Fork before. May have been an off night. We will try it again another time.
I enjoyed eating at Fork in Boise. The weather was great, so I was able to sit outside. The waiter was friendly and attentive and good natured. The short ribs were very good, though I found the sauce a bit thick for my taste. Excellent green salad. I had one of their recommended cocktails, and it was also good, though sweeter than my taste as well. Their butter cake was really good, and I am not a dessert person. The vanilla ice cream that came with it was excellent, and the berry puree was tart and a good contrast to the sweetness of the cake and ice cream.
We had the Monday special (ribs) and the steak which were delicious! Don’t forget to ask for smashed potatoes _ yummy!
Overall our Sunday brunch meals (we had the trout and eggs benedict) were excellent, as was the Bloody Mary. However I was very disappointed in the hash browns. I was expecting the warm and perfectly seasoned bravas listed on the menu. Instead I got strands of cold overcooked potatoes. The waiter said the bravas were removed from the menu but he didn't know why. Bring 'em back!
Great food - love the Sunday Brunch menu! Kara was fantastic! Love this place for brunch and dinner!!!
Drink refills were lacking
Food, service and ambience re fine but the noise is painful. If you go alone and sit at the bar, you'd be fine. Try to talk with anyone and forget it. Too bad!
As always the food at Fork was outstanding. Add to that fast and friendly service and you have a great dinner out. We will return.
We had a wonderful dinner! The food was delicious, and the service fantastic!! Great experience and we highly recommend it!!:):)
Not many restaurants exceed my expectations but Fork did. The food choices are broad and interesting. The service was superb. The restaurant is lively but it was still easy to have a conversation at the table. Our only regret is we didn’t go back the next night again for another dinner. I don’t know what they did to the tomato basil soup and ham and cheese sandwich ( I know what you’re thinking, ham and cheese) but it was awesome. So too were the short ribs that melt in your mouth. If you visit downtown Boise you should make this a must stop.
Great! Food is to die for, ambience is nice, and good entrees at every price point.
Great meal; one of the best in Boise!
Our waiter took a very long time to take our order. When he did he did not ask if we wanted drinks. We had to let him know that we would all like drinks. Our food came one hour after we were seated and the meat was over cooked for 2 of the four of us. Our waiter did not ask if we wanted drink refills. We had to ask for the check and even find him and take it to him. I've heard amazing things about this restaurant and I hope our experience was simply due to a bad waiter.
Great food ! Good prices ! Wait staff is excellent ! Best restaurant in Boise.
We have eaten a few times and always enjoy the food and atmosphere.
One of are favorite places to eat when in Boise.
Fork was a find for my husband and I while visiting Boise. It is a MUST DO restaurant. The waitstaff was friendly and welcoming. Our waitress and bartender more than accommodating (I had some unusual martini requests.) And the food was delicious. This is a must visit restaurant. The bar looked like a fun place to sit and enjoy libations. Had we more time in Boise, we would have come back just for the bar.
Our waiter appeared to hate his job. Not friendly, not personable, and barely smiled the entire time he waited on us. Our meal was TERRIBLE. Over cooked. My husband couldn’t even cut into his steak. When we inquired about the “toughness” waiter simply said it was due to cut of meat. My parents steak was also over cooked. On a positive not my salmon was fantastic and cooked perfectly. We’ve tried to give this place a 2nd and 3rd chance but every time we eat at this establishment we have left disappointed. 4 years ago it used to be a great place with great staff and great food.
Mother’s Day for an early dinner. As always we had a fabulous time, brought our own wine and had it opened there for ten dollars. Food was amazing! Love the Fork!!
Great Idaho food.
The Fork is a nice place to eat only con I can think of
it is VERY noisy
Brought my parents in who were visiting. Everything was amazing! Thank you!
Disalpointed with asparagus fries which were really old this time. Wish the room was a little less mousey. Delicious urban burger and salted toffee pudding.
Delicious dining. Start with the asparagus and the lamb. The BCS salad with grilled salmon was wonderful.
We only wish we would have left room for dessert! Next time!
Great food great service. Would definitely go back!!
Birthday Celebration was great- awesome service, delicious food and all in all an awesome brunch!
We love The FORK! You can always count on great service and yummy food!
We traveled from Seattle through Boise and stopped here for dinner. Great location, atmosphere, and cuisine. The rosemary and Parmesan fries were amazing as well as the bread pudding dessert. The staff was friendly and efficient. We will definitely eat here again.
