Fork - Boise
Waiter was fantastic. Food always great. Thank you
Great food, nicely plated. Awesome staff. Overall a great place to dine out in downtown Boise.
Great place for a casual Sunday brunch. The menu has something for everyone.
We love the Firk! Brunch is incredible and the service is always wonderful!!
Our first trip to Fork in a couple of years. The food is still very good although the menu is limited. However, for whatever reason, the atmosphere appears to have changed from fine dining to a bustling bar with food. Some will enjoy it more, but it’s not what we expected.
Delicious food! Catfish sandwich and the urban burger. We will definitely be back again!
Was catching up with a friends I hadn’t seen in a long time. Waitress wasn’t pushy about us leaving. Thanks
Fork is always a must do when I arrive in Boise to see my BSU student. The food is always so yummy, the drinks and wine are creative and delicious. The service is always top notch.
Excellent food and service! Can’t wait to go back!
I love the style and surroundings. The food was delicious (BCS, short ribs and butter cream cake), and fabulous service!
The Fork is one of my favorite restaurants in Boise. They have the best recipes when it comes to flavor and everything is always super fresh. The service the atmosphere, always wonderful.
Service was excellent.
Food was great and the server was very friendly and proper.
However, often I had to wait a long time get his attention.
Wonderful atmosphere and service. Highly recommend Fork for any type of celebration or dining experience!

It was very hot in there. They over cooked both of our steaks the first time and then undercooked them the second time. The second time they came cold. I asked the waitress if the mashed potatoes were real and she said yes. They were boxed and cost $4. Don’t go here.
The Valentine's Day service was outstanding. Unfortunately, I was running 30 minutes late for my reservation. I called and they quickly accommodated me for late arrival. Our drink order began with the Cherry-bing Mojito and I got the Mirror Pond ale. Both were excellent. The waitress then offered for round 2 and nailed it on the next ale recommendation as I am a huge fan of hoppy beers. My gf ordered the stuffed rainbow trout and it was absolutely superb. The skin was left on and actually created a very flavorful burst. The bones were removed and the meat was incredibly buttery. It was so easy to eat and they didn't short on the helping. I ordered the center-cut filet medium rare and it came just as requested. A very pink center fading into a light pink outer rim. The steak was about 2 inches thick and very commanding of the plate. Cutting into the filet took zero effort as a butter knife would just about suffice. A good steak requires no sauce and no sauce indeed! Such a juicy and easy-to-chew cut upon a very creamy, cheesy mashed potato surrounded by fresh green beans stir fried to perfection with a scrumptious flavor and satisfying crunch. The mushrooms on top tasted of the perfected art of sauté and acted as the best 'cherry on top.' We finished our meal with ordering the GF Brownie in a Bowl dessert. It came with a healthy sized brownie rectangularly sliced; it tasted and smelled fresh from oven. It came topped with frozen chocolate ice cream and a whipped cream infused with honey-glazed walnuts that made the taste buds fly! Our service was outstanding and the rush felt non-existent. Our waitress was very polite and we had staff checking in on us very often, yet they were subtle about it. I highly recommend this restaurant for brunch, lunch or dinner, especially on Valentine's Day. I suggest reserving 2 weeks in advance for V-day. Fork has always lived up to the expectations it sets. Thank you.
My wife and I had a late lunch on Valetines Day. We were disappointed that there was no Valentines special. She had the Sea Bass, which was very good. I had the center cut fillet. The fillet was undecooked, the green beans that came with it were over cooked, some were burned, and there was not enough sauce on it. Service was inattentive. Overall we were disappointed.
The only reason we gave this less than 5 stars is that we had to be seated in the back room which lacks the warm, vibrant atmosphere that the main dining area has, and we had out of town guests who we would have loved to get the full effect. We love this restaurant though.
My wife and I have been going to Fork for years. Their food is fantastic, the prices are very reasonable, and the staff is always helpful and courteous. We go there for every anniversary, birthday, or just for a nice dinner.
Always good food, service and atmosphere!
It seemed noisier than usual...probably due to all of the adolescents there for their Sweethearts ball dinners? Made it difficult to hear our server.
Fork is my favorite restaurant in Boise. It’s a must for their weekend Brunch, but the lunch/dinner menu is top-notch.
Excellent prime rib!
We are visiting Boise, ID and asked the locals for a recommendation for dinner......Fork is the most recommended. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and we would visit again when we return to Boise. Dr R
Out of town guests came for Halibut Sandwich & the short rib sliders, neither of which were on the menu. Three of us had the Urban burger which was delicious. Asparagus and Onion Rings were perfect as usual. The diced potatoes served with the sea bass however were terrible. Everyone at the table tried a couple but no one liked them at all. You can do better than that. We did not complain. Our waiter had great personality and made our experience great. We will return.
Love that they use ingredients from local farms and vendors. They also accommodate people with food allergies.
Not as good as it used to be... 😕
My dinner companions and I had a very pleasant experience at Fork. The food was top-not and our server was knowledgeable and attentive. This has become one of our favorite restaurants in Boise.
My son & I went for Sunday brunch yesterday. It was our first time to Fork and we loved everything about it. It was not crowded or noisy. We had excellent service. I had the french toast and it was absolutely the best french toast I have ever had. It melted in my mouth. My son had waffle chicken sliders and wouldn't share a bite because he liked them so much. The bill was less than $20 for a lovely experience all around.
The food here was fantastic! We love that they use local ingredients and support local breweries, wineries, etc. They even have local spirits. The waitress was friendly and helpful and even recommended other local places to check out. The atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. Definitely recommend this for brunch.
Great date night with friends, family, or your significant other. Yummy food with a lot of Gluten Free options, which is nice! Fun vibe too!
The food was amazing! We will be back again to try more of the many options they had.
My son came home from college for the weekend and we met at Fork. It was a great meal, as always.
Amazing food! Great prices! Make sure you get the Butter Bread. One of the most fabulous deserts I've ever eaten.
I have a restricted diet, and had several choices on the menu. The food is sourced from sources I recognize and is of high quality.
Food and service were both good but it was so loud that it was difficult to have a conversation. Definitely will not return in the evening again because the noise level was uncomfortably high.
Server was very polite and courtious, food was outstanding, atmosphere was soothing, overall we we're very impressed with out experience at Fork!
Love the Fork. Great location downtown to people watch. Love the outside patio. Typically great service.
Food always consistant and yummy. Wish they would expand more choices for bottled wine.
Will go back for sure!
The brussel sprouts appetizer was really good. My trout was not as good as the last time I had it.My husband had the sirloin strip and it was delicious. At the warm butter cake for dessert and it was yummy.
Great food and service! Accommodated a last minute addition to our party and were wonderful.
