    The menu was was varied but well conceived. The quality of the food was excellent. It was clear the kitchen staff were well trained as well as creative. Our service staff were prompt and delightful. Look forward to dining at Food Glorious Food again and again.

    The food & service were superb. The server kept my water glass full without me asking (she must have thought I was a camel!) My only complaint is the noise level in the inside dining area. There was a good crowd the time we were there, that was enjoying themselves. So much so that my friend & I had to practicality scream to converse. I've noticed this at other times. Can anything be done about the acoustics? Otherwise I love this place.

    Once seated we sat for about 15 mins before I went to the hostess station and asked if there was a server for the section where we were sitting. The server returned and gave a lengthy explanation that she forgot to tell a server we had been seated, explained that they don’t used section (I could have cared less), we had to ask for a drink menu and proceeded to wait some more. The food was fabulous as always, a perfectly rested filet, salmon was best ever, leak soup with crab outstanding. With 7:15 reservation, we didn’t get out until 9:30. We weren’t rushed but the disorganization at the start was a shame, especially since the restaurant was not full. We’ve eaten at FGF several times and service has always been good, hopefully last evening was a fluke.

    I really wish that our experience at FGF was a good one, but our experience was quite the opposite. We had reservations for 7:30, we arrived 7:30 on the dot and were seated. While waiting for a waiter to come to our table, we noticed that everyone around us were being waited on, and no even came to our table to greet us or give us water. So I walked up to the host station and alerted him of our situation, he said there was a miscommunication and he himself went and grabbed us water, which was very nice of him. He said that someone would be with us shortly. Me and my girlfriend became very upset, not at the fact that our waiter was taking longer than usual to get to our table, but at the fact that we were the only black people in the restaurant, besides the people behind the counter cooking the food. This made us feel awkward and embarrassed, especially since there were others being waited on who arrived several minutes after us. We decided to end our night early at FGF and find another place to spend our night out, which lead to a wild goose chase around the city to find a place that would seat us. FGF used to be one of our favorite restaurants but I must say we will never come back.

    Brunch is always fabulous at FGF and the brioche French toast was excellent! Others in the party enjoyed the frittata and eggs Benedict and chicken and waffles. Jamie took care of us and did a fine job at it. Even though the place was full we were served quickly. It is a bit noisy but remains one of our favorites.

    We went for a girls night of dessert and drinks and sat outside. The food and drinks were good. Service was terrible. Our server essentially just said she didn’t want to wait on our table and to go into the bar to order, wait for our desserts and then walk out to the table to sit down. She didn’t even bring us water.

    Out server, Dee, was absolutely fantastic. All of the food and drinks we ordered were perfect. It was very noisy, but it's a small space and we went Saturday at 7, so it is to be expected. Will definitely be returning

    Wonderful meal! The Cobb salad was delicious and very tasty! It was a little noisy as there was a big celebratory party of women enjoying themselves. Nolan is a top notch waiter. Super attentive and pleasant. Be sure to request him!!!

    Upon arrival for a reservation, the noise was thunderous. I was shown to a small table for 2 squished beside the waiters station and large booth. I asked for a different table and was shown to a better spot. While I waited for my friend to arrive, I was not approached by anyone for 10 minutes...no water, nothing. I had wanted to order a drink so I waved down a waitress who told my waitress who arrived 5 minutes later and took my order. After another wait, my drink arrived as did my friend as the waitress walked away and did not return. I waved down another waitress to order salads that took forever and were the smallest salads I have ever been served at this restaurant and a tiny drissle of dressing. Of course, I had to go to the bar for my check. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

    Brunch sunday Kitchen forgot the gravy as listed for a brunch item on the menu. Server didnt come back until time to bring the check so no opportunity to ask her to bring the gravy. No drink refills provided even after asking hostess to get the server to come by the table. Meal delicious. Service lacking. Ambiance nice - outside seating on a beautiful and cool Sunday.

    We were guests of Food Glorious Food for Mother's Day brunch; Our Tallahassee restaurant "bucket list" is finally getting shorter! Our reservation was prompt and we were even offered a choice of sitting on the patio or inside. We decided inside for comfort, but soon realized that was a mistake. While only half-full, it is very loud downstairs, and (my opinion) looks quite dreary. Our server was ok; Mimosas took almost 10 minutes to arrive (it's champagne and fruit juices...). We ordered the Mother's Day Quiche, Eggs Benedict (normal and with salmon), and the Catfish. The quiche was quite good, with nice flavor. However, the catfish fillet was over-cooked, and dry. The two Eggs Benedict dishes were interesting; Mine (w/salmon), was cold, and the english muffin base was charred. Additionally, both Benedicts had one egg poached hard, while the other was (appropriately) runny. The cheese grits side order was disappointing; notwithstanding the quite small amount, the cheese wasn't even incorporated into the grits, merely sprinkled on top. I'm not from the South, but have had cheese grits at some notable restaurants in Charleston, Savannah, Memphis, etc., and this doesn't compare. We did save room for the lauded desserts, but our server took 15 minutes before he returned for our order, so we declined. He had two other tables (2/4)... Overall, the food is OK, but the surroundings/atmosphere leave much to be desired. I do realize it was Mother's Day and it IS difficult to convince employees to work that day, but with a limited menu, the flow should have been better. Many staff members were running around, nothing in hand. One server, while cleaning up the table next to us, stacked the glasses loudly (one broke) onto the plates, and nearly dropped them all hustling back to the kitchen. Use a tray...

    The food is always amazing. The service can be hit or miss. Our last time it was a bit off. Overall this place is a go to any time we are in Tallahassee. Definitely worth the time to eat here.

    Party of 2 with outdoor seating at 6pm. The only real noise came from the busy street next to the building. My order was good, though sparse for the price. My partners order was returned as it was not cooked through. They were kind enough to not charge for it. The desserts were great.

    Seated promptly, our server arrived promptly and was so very professional. Our salmon entrees were delicious. The noise level from an adjacent table was totally unacceptable...a bunch of mid to late 30s, noisier than we could belief. In fact so noisy that we could not wait to leave, rushed through a so-so dessert, Buckeye cake, and left asap. Will not return though heretofore, on every thing to Pensacola from our home in Venice, we stop over night in Tallahassee and always have loved having dinner at Food Glorious Food. The noisy table was unbearable. Our recommendation for this place is for food only...not ambience nor noise level as the noise last night was unacceptable.

    It was very quiet. No music or anything. Service was too efficient. We weren’t in a rush but we felt like we were being rushed. There was a bottle cap in our salad. Food was good but it was overall a disappointment.
