    We were able to try maybe four different meats out of everything that was available. Not sure if the people who were cutting the meat all went on break at the same time, but we went ten to fifteen minutes without any food coming to our table. With a $200 bill for two people, this was very disappointing. Not sure if it was because it was Father’s Day or not, but a ten to fifteen minute gap is unexceptionable.

    We got sat in a corner where there were not a lot of waiters and thyley took about 20 minutes to ask what drinks we wanted. We decided to the full churrasco experience but since we were sitting in a corner away from the main dining area we didnt have a lot of choices of meat, also a lot of the meat was overcooked . I have been to fogo the chao before but overall they are still working out details like organization and getting the meat temperatures right. I would say visit if you have never been once all the hype dies down and they are less busy and more organized

    This is a very honest review, written less than 24 hours post experience. My son and I dined Saturday evening 630p. After reading some negative reviews regarding the service, i was a bit worried, but decided to give it a go anyway. I do believe the management saw the previous reviews and took note and made significant improvements. Service was perfect. Jovani was our waiter and did an excellent job. I told him that I love lamb chops and he asked how i like them cooked and he made sure they came by several times to replenish. The buffet was great as was the rest of the experience. The manager came by to ensure everything was up to a good standard. Some of the cuts of meat were a bit salty for my liking, but otherwise everything was outstanding. I’m sure we will be back. 5 stars all the way.

    Indulgence... Overall, 9/10. The food was awesome! We had reservations yesterday as of May 31st... booking fills up fast. The service needs attention. The refilling of drinks and checking in on patrons... Our time there, we had 3 different server, which I'm sure they all work together. We will return.

    I went to the new location in Virginia Beach to celebrate my birthday. Everyone was very friendly. I enjoyed the salad bar area. It did take some time for the servers to come around with the meat and some of the meat was overcooked. I believe they’re still working out the kinks. Will give another try in the future.

    Overall good experience. Food was great. It felt very over priced though. The service was not so great. They work as a ‘team’ but I felt it lead to our table being forgotten about. No one refilled our water or offered replenishment on drinks. And it took a while to get our check. For the price I would have liked better service. However they did just open so maybe they are trying to figure out how to run smoothly! Not a bad experience

    The food is great, but the service was terrible. They were out of almost all drink components for their happy hour cocktail menu and our server was very inattentive. This location opened very recently and I don’t think they anticipated being as busy as they are. Staff and management alike are completely overwhelmed.

    Glad we made a reservation because they were turning away walk-ins and it took 30 minutes to get our table after checking in. However, it’s a brand new location, new staff, and a busy week of high school graduations. The food and service made up for the long wait to get seated (30 minutes)and to have a waiter get to our table for drink orders (10 minutes). There was a wide selection at the food buffet with yummy appetizers and side dishes. The meats were great, some of the chicken offered were not very tender. This location was not as large and formal/ fancy as the one in Los Angeles, CA and we felt overdressed. We were expecting a bit more finer dining experience but many other guests were in jeans, flip flops and casual wear. However, they can handle large parties so it’s good for your special occasions like birthdays.
