We’ve always loved the Houston Fogo de Chão location, so we were excited to try the new Katy location — but our experience was absolutely atrocious. From the moment we sat down, the service was nearly nonexistent. Servers walked by our table over and over without offering food, and we were completely ignored until I finally complained. Even then, the service remained subpar and disorganized. As for the food — it was a major letdown. Despite specifically requesting rare to medium rare meats, we were repeatedly served overcooked, well-done cuts that no one at our table wanted. The quality didn’t even come close to what we’ve experienced at other Fogo locations. We spent nearly $800.00 on this dinner, including wine for a party of four, and it was a complete waste. We were even considering hosting an office event here — but after this disaster of a night, we’ll be looking elsewhere

Was a disappointing experience for us. We thought we’d give it a try since these types of restaurants are our go to birthdays/anniversaries and special outings. The restaurant is very crowded especially the salad bar area. So crowded I think this is why there was never anyone around with a meat. Seriously we had to flag someone down to stop by our table to get meat. We had a total of 4 people with meat stop at our table. The salad bar was mediocre. 25 minutes into waiting on meat service we were approached by someone asking if we’d like more of the ‘cheese bread’ I told her we’d love some, we’d not had any as of yet. I asked for a refill of my water and it was never received. It took longer than expected to get our bill. We tried it out, it’s not for us. Sorry 😞 we’ll stick to the one down the street. Fogo de Chao is less expensive and we found the reason why.

La verdad es que yo tenía mayor expectativa de las carnes y no fue tan así. Hay otros lugares con mejor precio y mayor calidad en carnes.

We went there for my husband’s 65th Birthday, and all the staff remembered we were celebrating and we got a complimentary dessert to take home.

The service was outstanding and so was the food but it is very small and not much room to move to go up to the buffet area.

This location has very packed seating, too many tables jammed into a small space. Hard to maneuver and lacks privacy if your on a date, we had a table so close the purse rack touched both tables restricting ability to roam about freely without deliberately disturbing adjoining guest. Unable to partake in beverage cart service due to space and location of our table.

New restaurant- same wonderful Fogo de Chao experience! It was our 30th wedding anniversary and our servers made it special for us! Everything was so nice! We had family members with us who were experiencing their visit visit to the restaurant and it was a memorable experience for them. Thank you to Pat and Justin!

This particular location have recently opened. Staff is not experienced. We had to remind them for certain things like mashed potatoes or fried bananas to be brought to us. Some staff were in dirty uniforms, which is not acceptable for the level of the place the restaurant always was. Patrons also lack certain level of dress code. This is definitely not the experience we used to have at Westhaimer location.
