Disappointing! Fittest time to the Rosemont location after several times in downtown Chicago. First we arrived for our 6:30 reservation to find that there were 4 parties ahead of us and the wait would be at least 30 min. Why take reservations if you can’t honor them. After speaking to the manager he seated us immediately. Thank you. However, the meats that they brought out were of a lower quality then I remember. You can pay an up charge for better meats, maybe that is new, but for $55 dollars a person there are far better steak houses in the Chicago area. There were many families with young children and the vibe was not that of an upscale restaurant. Definitely not coming back

The service was great, however I don't like the fact too many people handling your table and bill. Our dessert order was wrong because one person explained the dessert menu, another person take the order and a third person brought the dessert out, which wasn't what we order. I don't mind 2 servers, especially for a table of 2 but when you have 6-8 different people asking you questions and one person bring you the bill, other person takes it with your credit card then a third person bringing it back. That's too much, I didn't like that at all. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and the attention but a change and ratio of servers per table would be great.
My favorite restaurant! My family and I love it. Awesome meats, awesome salad bar, and amazing service.
It seems like every time I try and give Fogo another chance, they slip a little further down the scale.
The service is not what it once was, for the price you pay, you expect something special. They have taken away the exquisite mint chocolates, this trip they no longer had cheese stuffed sweet cherry peppers (now JUST the peppers), the different cuts of meat have been reduced greatly (at least they were for my lunch yesterday), the wonderful rolls were not once delivered to my table HOT, and I had a general feeling that the $45 I paid for only MY lunch was money not well spent. It will be some time before I return for another visit.
After making a reservation, was upset to have to wait over 20 minutes for a table. Food was excellent but noise level was overwhelming!
The food was so so good! It was our first time so they explained everything to us. However we never really got a server until after 15 mins I asked a passing one if we could order drinks. So he became our server, I’m still not sure if he was supposed to be or not. It was extremely busy with large groups so that could have been the issue too. Regardless the food was really, really good.
It was our 1 year anniversary and we decided to go to a Brazilian steakhouse. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the hostesses with a friendly smile and welcomed to Fogo. We decided to have a drink at the bar before we sat down to eat dinner. The bartender was very friendly and professional. Rodrigo recommended the most popular cocktail “ caipirinha “. Me and my girlfriend enjoyed every sip of it. Excellent recommendation. Once we got to our table we were greeted at our table by our waiter. He explained how the system works very well. We started at the salad bar. My favorite was the Brazilian kale salad. It was very very delicious. Once we were done with our salad the servers immediately provided us with fresh plates and we flipped the coasters to the green side. Then the chefs started bringing numerous types of meats table side which I found very phenomenal. The house specialty meat was my favorite. The servers also provided us with a complimentary anniversary creme brûlée after we were done with dinner. It was an Unforgetible life experience. We can’t wait to go back. Thank you so much for everything.
Overall we had a good experience but our waiter seemed distracted with his other duties and we were left to wait quite often for different things that we needed. When he did serve us, he was great.
I’m not a fan of the converted rice. It would be great to have real rice available.
The main issue is the design of the tables as we had 6 business people sitting and the table allowed for very little room sideways - which makes the soeriwmce very unpleasant every time a server comes to slice the meats right next to you. So you constantly have to squeeze yourself. Our business guest felt very annoyed by this particular detail so the experience was unpleasant. Fogo de Chão should use tables that are wider .....
Service was excellent. Specialty cocktail tastey. Great for special occasions and go on an empty stomach. So many food options.
Pretty awful experience here. Service was terrible. I took me asking 3x to 2 different people to simply get A1 sauce for my steak. We waited for several minutes on food to come by and then finally had to ask them to send some more meats our way. Might’ve been because we were in the side room because I heard the couple behind us ask the same.
We also requested for some more fried bananas which never came. It took a total of 20 mins to get my check so I can finally leave.
Most likely won’t return or recommend.

Fogo De Chao. Very professional service once again. I was greeting by the amazing and professional hostess and the team. I arrived early to enjoy some crafted caipirinhas and appetizers at the bar where I was welcomed by the amazing bartenders. The hostess came to the bar once my reservation time came and asked if I was ready to be
amazing service. Once I got to my table I was greeted by my server. Salad bar was fresh one of my favorites the imported hearts of palm and the new lentil soup, fresh fruits hot rice and beans. The cheese bread was amazing like always. Once I flipped my coaster to green the meat began right away picanha and ribeye my favorite. The side dishes were brought by Mark made as soon as I flipped to green and were replenished as needed excellent job. The servers kept checking on me regularly to make sure I was having having a great time. Finished of the meat service with the beef ribs and chimi chury. Papaya cream was delicious very smooth. The ambiance was very nice. Very clean restaurant. Cant wait to return. Thank you Fogo for everything you made me feel very special as always.
Had a greater meal with my 85 year old mothers, 65 year old brother, my wife and two of my three children. A very special dinner 3 generations of family. We always recommend Foga as a destination dinner restaurant.
We waited for 30 minutes for the Valet attendant to come out to park our car. Noone ever showed up to work. Then once seated, we had an excellent meal. Children's meal was supposed to be free of charge with a full price adult entree. I was charged full price for my adult meal as well as full price for both children. The Labor Day special was not honored.
The food quality was definitely below average and service was not as good as other store. Very disappointed visit.

Being served with a smile on their faces and even telling us, no worries, your favorite is almost done(Garlic Steak!). Highly, highly recommend it. Fogo, keep up the good work! Take care of your staff because they take care of us. Great job!!
The experience was not as good as we have had in the past. Everything was mediocre.
We have been to this location many times. Unfortunately I believe Sunday was our last. Service was not to par. When you spend $500+ on meals, you expect to not be passed by a multiple number of times. It was so loud that as waiters were passing us up, they could not here us cal for their attention, plus the fact they were briskly walking past us.
Fantastic, my overall experience was just fantastic. They just did everything right. Food was great service was great, cannot wait to go back again
As always, the food was incredible. I am a big fan of Brazilian food, and their Feijoada with Farofa is out of this world. The meats are all excellent, and the food bar (it's NOT a salad bar) is extraordinary. HOWEVER, the best part of our meal was Magda. Our waitress was as attentive as she was polite and personable. She definitely went above and beyond, and as it was my birthday, she even brought us dessert on the house. Magda made a great place even better!
The salad bar is very nice. The meat selection is not as good as Texas DeBrazil. Too much sirloin and not enough medium rare meat. To be honest, the maple bacon on the salad bar was the star of the show. Iris like eating candy. I couldn’t get enough. The complimentary shrimp cocktail wasn’t offered until our meal was all but over. Considering the price this meal was only worth half. Good but not worth the trip. Sorry but this is the way I see it

Food is always good but my service on this particular occasion was sub par and servers were very much delayed in bringing meats around.
This was a great place to bring business partners. The problem was the noise level. The food and service was so great that my guests did not complain about the noise until the end of the meal. The food was AMAZING. Totally worth the amount they charge.
From start to finish, our experience here was flawless. Everyone from the hostess, the servers, the meat servers, management were all so friendly and helpful. Whatever we needed, someone was there to get it for us, very quickly. Our server was so attentive, he anticipated everything we needed before we asked! The salad bar was well organized, everything replenished, and all items were very fresh. There was so much to choose from! The meats, literally some of the best tasting meat I have ever had, were all served to perfection, so hot and fresh, right off the grill. The guys serving the meat were so polite and they even remembered what temperature I preferred. If there was a specific cut that I wanted sent back to my table, they were quick to bring it back. Talk about service! A young gentleman named Matt came to the table to make sure everything was going great for us, which it was, it’s impossible not to have a great time at this place. Matt was the icing on the cake to our fabulous experience. He was SO friendly with a great personality. He really made us feel welcomed & that he truly was happy to help us with anything we needed. Even though the food is amazing here, it is the friendly service that will keep me going back. There even was a manager, Nasco, walking around checking on all of the tables. He was so genuine & we could tell he truly loved his job & that he really cared if his guests were satisfied. Now that’s customer service!! Fogo De Chao in Rosemont is the best & you will leave so happy & already planning your next visit. 100 stars for this place & 100 more for the wonderful people who work there. Great job!

Absolutely amazing restaurant. The food is great like the other Fogo's, but the service is unlike anything I've seen before. Everyone works like a cohesive team and nothing is more than a request away. They treat you so special. Our server Daniel Aguilar was so accommodating and made us feel incredibly welcome. I've been to other Fogo locations and this one beats every single one of them hands down. Great job!!!
Food is ok but I love to breath in between meat service. In about 3 minutes there were at least 6 meats that came- quickly overwhelming. They definitely wanted us out quickly.
It started out lousy since I had requested a round table when I made the reservation; I had also requested a call if they could not accommodate my inability to eat garlic. When we got there, we were told that there were no round tables available, so when we were seated at the rectangular table just inside the dining room, I noticed a round table right down the line, but was told that that table was to be put together with another one for a reservation for a large group. However, a few minutes later, a group of 6 was seated there and the table was not put together with another one. When I pointed that out, all of a sudden they agreed to make a round table for us. From that point on, everything was great. Matt took exceptionally good care of us, as did the rest of the waitstaff. However, I think the problem was the people they had at the host stand who were not eager to make customers happy.

We informed Mathew the superviso that all the employees on duty were amazing! We were treated like royalty, the communication they had regarding our meat choices were awesome. All the servers were great and attentive with smiles. Thank you for such a great experience! It will not be our last!
We are regular customers here averaging 10-12 tines a year. I have never given a bad review about this place until today. Our server never came back to our table. I had to ask for my bill and reiterated that it’s my Aunt’s birthday even though I already mentioned this in my reservation and to our server prior starting our meal. Thanks to Edgar for saving this negative experience to positive.
Not too noisy when first entering, very nice entryway bar. Staff were nice, however no booths for intimacy and privacy (hard to hear staff or each other once at the table). Appetizers are good, but buffet style which seemed strange. Once you’re seated again, flip over your red/green card and the waiters will come pouring in (may be overbearing at times). The main course is very good with our Moscato & lemon water! Please be prepared, this is a little on the pricey side of $150 not including the 2 glasses of wine. Otherwise you may be in a sticky situation! ;)
Had a great first time experience and cant wait to go back next time! Make sure you have an empty stomach because there is a lot of food!
Outstanding. The meat was the best I have ever had, The service was second to none. Our asked if it was are first time here, he explained how everything would go down, really spot on. First you go to the salad bar and eat all you want. When your done with that, these guys come out of nowhere take your dirty plates and BAM set you up with new silverware and dinner plates. You have a plackard when its red side up no one is around until you turn it green side up, then you are surrounded by gauchos giving you cut rib eye, sirloin, chicken, lamb, Large tiger prawns, and more. We where floored by the service at this Rosemont location.
We love it. It makes for an interesting dining experience. The options are numerous and delicious. Service is excellent and servers are very knowledgeable!
