This place was not the same place it used to be. Friday night was a chaos like a mad house. I used to love Fogo but after this experience I would not go back! The place were so packed of people and no privacy at all and you are seating so close to other tables and you can hear their whole life stories! The floors were slippery and the rugs around the salad bar looks awful. The one of the toilet do not flushed correctly and had to flush it like 4 times to get the tissues flushed out. Food- was so dry and tasteless! Most of them are there are only few that was okay like the beef ribs but still not it used to be. A man handling the pork ribs and one rib fell on our table, he picked it up and put it back on his board and continue to serve the others! I was shocked! Other guy do not know how to cut the meat! cutting the meat sooo big like he served my husband a 5 oz meat! Not even exaggerating. Never seen cocktails going around just like the meat guys. There’s a lot of people on the floors back and forth and very distracting. Our bill was charged incorrectly. Our server was hard to find.

Service was very bad, waited 15 mins for the plate. Food was cheap cuts around and around, had to ask 15 times for premium and never got all of them. No leadership on the floor.

It was a fantastic experience. My girlfriend and I went for our 4 year anniversary and Fogo never disappoints. Although the only thing I would say is they didn’t come out with any filet but overall it was good.

Very disappointed. Spent over 240.00 Waited for meat for about 45 min, salad bar was picked over . Asked several times for meat to come by and never did. Ordered dessert and sat and sat for over 30 minutes waiting for it.

We hosted a small work group as we have in the past, but unfortunately did not have a wonderful experience as we have there many other times. The meat was overcooked, the staff was rude and short with our guests from host to waitstaff. It took 30 minutes to get waited on and then another 30 minutes to get the drinks. We certainly understand that places are still struggling with staffing but they should still treat their customers with grace. I'm saddened to learn that our executive no longer wants to take future groups to this establishment. I am however hoping this was a one time hiccup and that this wonderful restaurant will accommodate their customers with the highest service once again.

I'm used to going to the Fogo de Chao in Chicago, which has always been great for me. This is the first and last time I'll come to the one in Rosemont. The salad bar was ok - but, almost all of the meat served was either dry or bland. I think we tried nearly everything they had on offer to see if we could find something that tasted good, but even the best dish we found (the chimichurri chicken) was OK at best. We also had multiple waitresses stopping by every couple of minutes - and while that seems like it would be a good thing, they clearly did not communicate with one another. We just got asked the same questions over and over again. The drink service was also pretty slow. They got the first drinks out to us quickly, but it took nearly 20 minutes between ordering the second drink and them getting it to our table. Perhaps it was just an off-night for the staff? I don't know. But, it's not that much further to the one in downtown Chicago and I think we'll stick with that one from now on.

Decided to try fogo de chao after a few years of dining out at one. We were celebrating my husband’s bday. Salad bar was not impressive. Server was friendly but service was poor. I think it was most likely bc she had too many tables. Our glasses of water took long to arrive as well and the drinks we ordered. At the end, the server said they’d give us the dessert menu but forgot and had us waiting around 7-10 min. While she kindly said she’d give us a dessert to go, we didn’t want to wait any longer.

I don’t know that I would return for the experience, it was underwhelming and the food was just ok. Not really worth the premium price, there are better steaks and restaurants around. They seam to have a fruit fly problem too. I also didn’t get an itemized receipt when settling up, we were in a rush and it seemed roughly right, but still that’s required and shouldn’t be missed.

It was our first time going to this restaurant. Everything was good until we got the bill. We were served a dish with 6 prongs, thinking it was part of the package (I.e. like the bread basket & sides). Turned out to be $26. I expect to pay for a good experience at a Brazilian steak restaurant. Not only that, there were children running around and more noisy than expected. If I want this kind of experience, I’ll go to a Golden Corral.

If you like eating with fruit flies, then this is your place! Service was rude and could care less if they lost loyal customers. Very sad. Enjoy your fly-by-night visitors from out of town, but you lost us as loyal customers. There were fruit flies on our food and floating in my water. Marcel and Eliana are personally held responsible for this decision for us to never return based on their terrible customer service skills.

The meat was horrible. Over-cooked and overly seasoned, too salty. Chickens thighs were overcooked, equivalent to the turkey on the movie, National Lampoons Christmas vacation. Very disappointed with the food for the price paid. Will not be returning and will not recommend.

Generally we go to the downtown location this location was very loud and difficult to hear servers & conversation. Beyond the noise level we were seated early & the food was excellent.

The food was ok and ambience was nothing special. However, the staff at the restaurant were more than wonderful: Amazing team work, great managers who asked questions and went above and beyond, and an overall amazing logistical system which got food out quickly and effectively.
