Terrible service. Wasn’t seated until 30min after arriving, 25min after my reservation time. Hostess acted like this was normal. Waiter didn’t show up until 30min after that. Until that happened, very little meat was coming our way and no drinks were provided. Bathrooms were dirty. I’ve dined at this chain multiple times, but never this location. Generally I have been very pleased. This was awful. After the waiter/manager finally showed up things improved quite a bit, but for the price this was totally unacceptable. While bad in any case, I hope this is a reflection on the location rather than the direction the chain is going.

Went to Fogo to celebrate daughter’s monumental 16th birthday and I noted on my open table reservation but not one staff acknowledged her birthday or wished her a happy birthday. It was ver disappointing. Since she wasn’t wished a happy birthday I doubt she would have gotten a little birthday dessert on the house. Very disappointed; won’t be back for very long time.

The meat was all perfect; The sides, fried banana, fried polenta and mashed potatoes, were all excellent. The restaurant is so nice.

They have a phenomenal staff that’s it’s promptly able to help.

The food was very good and the market table was excellent. We were a little disappointed with the presentation of meat. You almost had to flat out ask for them to come around and the selection was minimal. We told them in the beginning that we had never been to this particular establishment and they gave a brief explanation but then came to the table later and asked what else we wanted for but we had no idea what the other options were. I had heard this place was better than Chama Gaucha but was not convinced of that based on our experience.

First time at fogo de chão rosemont and It won’t be my last time. Had the best experience ever. My server was phenomenal. He greeted warmly us. The restaurant it’s beautiful and I had a wonderful service I could not have been more impressed. Our server was always with a big smile and really attentive to our table and also I was checked several times by the customer service to ensure that I was having a good time. Me and my girlfriend we had a memorable experience at fogo. Huge variety of meats my favorite one was the Picanha the house especial and the filet they were cooked to perfection. Meats service was good and the drink menu has a big list of wines and cocktails our server recommended the house wine fogo de chão Malbec that was delicious and so smooth and for the end I got the Brazilian Style Flan that’s was so delicious. That’s my new favorite spot. I’ll definitely be coming back more times.

Fogo de Chão...OMG!!  Can you say "Meat Coma"!I absolutely love this place.  It's a meat-lovers dream come true.  And for those who aren't as meat oriented, they have a very sophisticated "Market Table".The service was very professional and curious.  The servers are unbelievably expeditious when it's time for more on your plate; just flip your coaster from red to green.  The servers are very familiar with the different cut of meats they're serving. We started out with drinks and a trip to the "Market Table".  This table has a little bit of a lot of different foods.  The smoked salmon was one of my favorites from the table.  That and prosciutto which was sliced so thin, it melted on your tongue.  Notice I only mentioned some of the meats on the table.  But there were plenty of vegetables, and salads, among many other items. But let's face it; I was here for the cuts of meat!Everything was excellently cooked, from medium rare to medium well.  Over the course of the evening I indulged in quite a bit of everything they had to offer.   Here's some of my favorites, believe me there was more than I listed here.Picanha - The prime part of the Top Sirloin. Awesome!Filet Mignon - Beef Tenderloin.Beef Ancho - Rib Eye.  Definitely one of my favorites of the night Cordeiro - Lamb; these chops were so moist and seasoned very well.Lombo - Pork Loin; these medallions were coated with Parmesan cheese, so good!Linguica - Spiral spicy sausage, also very flavorful. This was one of my most rememberable meals in a long time.  Great steakhouse!

The food is absolutely delicious! There is a salad bar with more options than you could possibly eat. They bring several meats to your table and you can pick and choose which you want. They also bring appetizers to the table; I would go back for the rolls, fried cheese, and fried polenta alone. Delicious! We have 10 people in our group and made the Open Table reservation; we were seated right away and the service was top notch.

Our waiter was not that attentive. I asked for a spoon because they were none next to the soup and he told me to get up and get it:( I went again to look for a spoon with no luck. Another staff member noticed and he told me he will bring it to my table. He was another waiter- loved him- The rest of the staff very nice and accommodating. We asked for cheese balls twice and we never received them.

I love Fogo - let’s start with that. Unfortunately, Mother’s Day was not their finest hour. We saw precious little in the way of meat come by the table. The manager asked us at least three times and a waiter the same amount of times what cuts we would like. Despite asking, it wasn’t until long after we were seated before we saw them, or any. We did see a steady stream elsewhere in the restaurant, but perhaps where we sat (by the market table) made it out of the way. This was our first less than satisfied experience at the restaurant and we learned that busy times may not be the best time to get the service we are looking for. One HUGE positive is the care they take on gluten-feee food. My daughter cannot eat gluten and the focus and diligence shown this time (and frankly every time) reflects serious care. This is one of the reasons we come.

This is a very popular place and on the pricey side, but it's a special treat kind of restaurant. It was a hit for Mother's Day. Valet park instead of using the garage if your special lady is in heels. Highly recommended.

Service was inadequate for what we were paying. The only person who was very cordial and had great customer service was Mimi.

I was really disappointed with the food and the service. I’ve been here once before and have been to the downtown location and those visits were better.

The restaurant needs to do something more with the “full experience” in every sense.

I don’t plan on ever going to restaurant again.

A Brazilian steakhouse experience is always a memorable one, with all the various grilled meats, and salad/side dish array...but Fogo de Chao outshines every other Brazilian steakhouse we've tried (and we have tried a few, in various cities!) Fogo's atmosphere is warm and elegant and the staff is extra hospitable and accommodating. The food is spectacular, from the truly scrumptious veggies that are laid out with inviting style on the market table, to the table sides (my favorite is the carmelized banana!!! YUM) and 9 fabulous grilled meats...if you keep your card 'green' up, it's 'a meat torrent' with all the gauchos buzzing round, you have to turn the card to red just to be able to eat and savor! What a mind blowing feast, all prepared with brilliance and care. I highly recommend finishing your meal with their papaya cream -- yes, you might think how can I possibly have dessert after such a huge meal -- but the papaya cream is so light and has enzymes that aid in digestion -- truly the PERFECT end, and helps you feel not so full. We go for lunch, so we have all day to digest! We have been to 3 other Fogo de Chao's (This location we have recently visited for the fourth time. Once you've dine here, you'll definitely want to repeat the experience. Thank you Fogo for the amazing experience. I will be returning very soon for a repeat of the amazing service and care you have for your customers

Great restaurant for all those who love meat. The cuts of meat were tender and spiced perfectly. If you need something, don't hesistate to ask as the servers kept coming around asking if there was something particular I was looking for. Fogo has a very generous kid's price which is great as my kids don't eat very much. Highly recommend.

Another amazing experience at the rosemont location! A beautiful day this Sunday decided to take my girlfriend out to dinner at our favorite spot in rosemont. Walked in early to our reservation and was greeted warmly by three hosts smiling largely one of them plugged in my reservation and another got the books to get us seated right away! They gave us a beautiful seat next to the salad bar which was very convenient because we love the salad bar. There are a lot of great options we personally can’t get enough of the mozzarella and tomatoes also the apple salad is super refreshing. After being done with our salads the servers are so quick with changing our plates so we can enjoy the meat service right away! Not even seconds after flipping our cards my favorite item the sausage was at our table it’s so delicious it’s a great pair with the creamy horseradish sauce. I like my meats medium and they served everything a perfect medium my girlfriend likes more well and they were able to accommodate her with more cooked options the whole evening. I not usually a bourbon person but was recommend to try the new blood orange drink and it was very sweet and strong in a good way! Ended up having a second one I enjoyed it so much! We later switched to a bottle of wine that our sever recommended to us I think it was called Luca a wine from South America that paired very well with our meats. usually stay away from the sides but today I had about three plates of polenta it’s amazing and so fresh every time I love extra Parmesan on them. It was a quieter day than usual which was nice because I was on a date today. After finishing our meals the servers brought over the desert menus and we picked out the two crem brûlée’s one was made with coconut and another a very traditional vanilla bean. Accompanied with some espressos was an amazing combination and a great way to end our meal! The three servers who took care of us tonight all need to be commended! Mark, Manny and Christi!!!!!

Like most Fogo's, the food was delicious and the service was great but the big highlight was the manager. He must have table touched our table at least three times. We were having a reunion so we sat for a bit. He politely asked us if we would be willing to give up our table and move to the bar. When he said yes, he told the bar staff to give us a round. He is ideal for a place like Fogo! Would go back just because of him.

Amazing !!!! This was my first time at fogo de chão Rosemont and it was AMAZING !!!!

This was my first time at this type of restaurant and I was amazed. From the service to the food everything was perfect. We were so well taken care of the moment we walked in through the door. The hostess were so nice to walk us to our table and even pull our chairs out. Soon enough a server came running over to explain their concept and suggested their house drink. Both my friend and I choose to try it and it was so refreshing. After we received our drink we took part in their market place. This was full of fresh fruits vegetables and all sort of cheeses. I made my first plate there. Once back at our table we let it loose and started the meat service. All I say is wow...the meat servers were so quick to come over and serve us table side. They even explained to us each cut of meat served. They service is so quick and efficient any time my glass was half empty some one came running over to fill it they don't miss a thing ! The whole staff was involved it seemed each manager on duty came over to check in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. They really seemed to care we had a good time that's what makes a difference they had wonderfully attitudes and truly cared. The night went perfect even dessert was out of this world. We tried their chocolate molten cake and savored every bite. Even the price is great for an all you can eat meat fest. Also the decor is beautiful makes me feel like I was eating in Brazil. I can not wait to make my next visit to Fogo de Chao.

For the price of more than $100 per person with two drinks this restaurant is not worth it. $55 for the various meats which are mostly fair and some just too fatty, salty or cheap tasting, would be better spent at a real steakhouse. Carver guys were nice. Chicken was good.

I have often wondered what this place is like.. I have heard a lot, but only until I experienced this last night did I understand!

The staff is the hardest working and friendliest I have encountered, The decor is simply beautiful, clean lines and stunning fixtures.
A knowledgeable accommodating, model looking server staff was pleasure !
The system is fun and when you turn that coasted over for a protein extravaganza, be ready to have an array of amazing meats brought to you ! Don't forget to turn it back over when you have enough to get started or they will just keep it coming!!
The sides included were creamy and rich mashed potatoes, a nice crisp polenta stick and a caramelized banana.
It was very hard not to fill up on the abundant salad bar with more than any salad bar I have an experienced, short of a high end Sunday Brunch Buffet. The empty items were removed and replaced swiftly. almost a choreographed dance,
Beverages were freshly prepared, and brought quickly. The staff was there to serve and greatly appreciated them being friendly and part of the dining experience!
Bravo!

Even though I never write reviews for anything, this place deserves it!! I can honestly say this is probably my new favorite restaurant! I walked out of there so full, but it was an amazing experience. From the moment we walked in we were so nicely greeted and sat at a table for 4. The first thing we saw, the little cheese balls of bread!!! So warm and delicious. We looked at the drink menu and they had a great variety of special drinks but I am a wine drinker so our waiter recommended the house wine,(Malbec) it was to die for! Our table proceeded to buy the bottle and it was the perfect combination for all the meat!
The meats served were so tender and juicy. My personal all time favorite- the filet! Probably one of the best I have ever tried. The lamb chops were also amazingly seasoned and well prepared. I cannot emphasize enough how good every single cut of meat was.
My friend opted for the salad only option and was extremely satisfied so if you are a vegetarian, you won't be dissapointed.
Besides the food, another reason to come back is the service. Everyone was so nice and made sure we had everything we needed. I greatly appreciate that because I can't seem to find that at ANY restaurant anymore. One gentleman checked on us multiple times and made sure all our meats were on point and answered all our questions. It seemed like everyone takes the time to satisfy even the smallest need!!
Overall I highly recommend this place, we had an amazing experience and will be definitly coming back!

Ps. eat slow and enjoy every bite :)

Fogo is a unique gourmet dining experience that's great for a special occasion or a fancy night out on the town! If you like meat, you will love Fogo.

Fogo is a very nice establishment. Well maintained, great staff, great service.

We had the full churrasco experience, we receive unlimited cuts of meat, appetizers, salad bar etc.

The salad bar called the "marketplace" is very good! They have charcuterie meats, cheeses, fruits, and a large variety of salad items.

Alcoholic Drinks are good but pricey.

The pão de queijo are very good they are little cheesy bread rolls. Other sides served are mashed potatoes, delicious and perfectly sweet caramelized bananas and polenta.

When it comes to the main course, they give you a coaster sized card; one side red and the other green. That is the way you alert the servers that you would like some cuts of meat. They slice the meat according to your preferred doneness.

The meat selections we tried the House Special Sirloin, Filet Mignon, Garlic Beef, Lamb Chops, Ribeye, Pork Chop, Chicken Breast, Sausages, Beef Rib. We were all surprised that my picky three year old grandson tried all the meats and loved the lamb.

Finally, desert which was awesome and homemade! We had the creme brûlée chocolate lava cake and NY Cheesecake. The Crème Bruiee was amazing.

Fogo is a upscale restaurant with phenomenal servise with every server Cathering to our every need, they will not disappoint if you are a meat lover.

This will be a location to come for many more years of celebration. Thank you
