    This was the best experience we’ve ever had. Our table was ready at our reservation time. A happy birthday note was waiting at our table. Attentive service. Multiple people making sure we had the cuts we desired. Definitely didn’t leave hungry.

    All of the food and service that we received was spectacular. The only issue I had was that I had a 7pm reservation and wasn’t say until 7:45. With people being sat without reservation before me.

    Great atmosphere and great food!! Unfortunately, the City of Portland is still unsafe and frankly, being in Downtown is not advised. While eating dinner, there was a shooting just a few blocks away. We joked at dinner about the safety issues in Portland and then experienced it. Very frustrating.

    Everything was great, unfortunately they don’t respect your reservation. It’s basically first come first serve. We had to wait 1 hour 25 minutes past our reservation time before being seated. People with out reservations were being seated before us.

    Anika and forgot his name (wish Keanu Reeves) we’re amazing. Reservation was 7:45 finally got table at 8:55. Never received food that was requested. Some of the meat served was raw cold when asked for medium rare. Anika gave us free dessert but it took over a half hour to find out that the dessert requested was not available. Very poor experience

    Food was good, service was good, but there was a guy walking around the fresh salad bar area with a dog hovering around the food. . . Why was that allowed? If it was a service dog he should've stayed seated and his friends could've gotten his salad for him. . it was mentioned to staff . . .

    Went on thanksgiving, they overbooked so much that it took an extra hour and a half after our reservation time to be seated while being crammed into the lobby like a can of sardines.. Service was slower than expected and it took far too long to get food. The food itself was fine some of the cuts of meat were tough and in General everything was under salted. For the price I was very underwhelmed. We had been to Brazilian steak houses before that performed much better in all aspects.

    As always the food was excellent but we had a reservation, as did apparently 1400 other people and they couldn't manage that many. We waited over an hour from our reservation time to get seated, most of that outside in the cold because it was packed! So, you can TAKE the reservation, you just couldn't KEEP the reservation.

    We made a reservation for 6pm, and were not seated until 7:15pm. All ordered items such as cocktails, juice, and desserts took a very long time to arrive. The restrooms were a wreck and had no paper towel available. Food that was offered, such as mashed potatoes, never arrived. Items were delivered to our table that were not specified as additional cost, such as the $27 shrimp cocktail. Food all tasted pretty good though, and the staff was as kind as would be expected on such a busy evening. But overall, a pretty bad experience for $330 for three adults and a kiddo.

    First time @ Fogo de Chao. Quick seating for two w/ reservation, especially for a holiday. The salad bar ran low pretty quickly, long wait for restock there but our server was great about re upping on the sides to our table. The lamb was delicious, the other meat was pretty tough. Amazing crème brûlée.

    Amazing experience! We waited 30 minutes past our reservation time to get seated but the 2 hostesses were very kind and genuine in their time estimations (considering the massive crowd). Someone came around with a tray of turkey bites while we waited. Wade was our server and Anicka (spelling?) came by multiple times to make sure we were getting everything we needed. Can’t say enough good things. Service and food were phenomenal. Haven’t experienced a restaurant with this level of care and kindness since before the pandemic. It was like they were actually happy to have us dine with them and we were not an inconvenience. Can’t wait to go back!

    Foge de Chao is a fun place to go and we typically visit two to three times per year. Thanksgiving is obviously a holiday and the market table was obviously busy and there was a wait for our table even with a reservation. It felt a bit like they were serving quantity over quality, but again, it was a holiday. We'll go back again.

    We had a 3:30pm reservation on Thanksgiving. After we had our meal, my wife paid and forgot to take her card. We know that the card was left here because we didn't go anywhere else and that was the last charge on it. I called and spoke with the "manager" Robert. After being on hold for 23 minutes he came onto the phone and claimed they didn't have the card. Robert was rude, condescending and less then professional. I will never return to this location or ever recommend it to anyone else.

    When we made the reservation we were told it was a special thanksgiving package, but still not told the prices. I thought that when the person who seats you tells you how it works, it would be nice to be told about the cost, which we thought was over the top. Yes, the food we had was great, and for the most part great service, it was a little cold inside and I was disappointed that for a place as expensive as this, there appeared to be no coat room. We did enjoy ourselves and appreciated the afternoon, but the cost should not be a mystery.

    From hostess to server, it felt like we were not welcome my $150 steak came rare and I had to cook it on the hot block which then overcooked it so I did not get a medium rare very expensive steak! Very disappointing

    Exceptional restaurant, had a bad table by the back door that would open quite often during winter time. Table was also ignored by wait staff (not the people with the meat). Table does not belong there!

    Definitely needed more staff. Poor crowd management at the front. Front desk staff was rude (and crowd of people waiting to be seated was getting rowdy at times). But once seated inside, everything was pretty great!

    We love fogo for dinners. But I absolutely wouldn't recommend their brunch. They really dropped the ball. So much so that I won't be back sadly. We had a reservation for 11:30 when brunch starts. They had 1 person making Waffles and omlettes and running the omlettes to tables. We were there for just under 2 hours and all 5 of us ordered omlettes and they never got made... about 10 minutes before we left he came to our table to see what kind of omlette we had ordered (we had ordered them an hour and a half prior) we just said nevermind we didn't need them any more. It took us an hour and 20 minutes before any of our table could even get a waffle... I would recommend getting another waffle iron or 2 and starting a few minutes before you open. Also more burners and pans for omlettes. And maybe more than 1 person Manning those two stations since he also has to run the omlettes to tables. If places like home town buffet can make to order omlettes and Waffles for people in a timely manner than fogo definitely should be able to do so.. There was never any Bolo de Fubá or brazillian sausage out either 👎

    Fogo de Chao was a winner from the moment we sat down. A staff member does a quick rundown of the process and then people start coming by with the wonderfully flavored different all you can eat meats. The picanha was particularly tasty. It was a fun experience with a lot of fun new tastes (hello crispy polenta!!) I loved the ease of online booking. If you have the opportunity to go, it’s definitely worth it.

    The food was so fatty and had so much gristle we were so disappointed for the cost of the meal. We have been once before 5 yrs ago and it was so much better. So sad how far downhill it has gone.

    Incredible meat and certainly an experience!! We got charged for mineral water which we didn’t get and they corrected it immediately but check your bill. Service was great and I would recommend!

    Awful awful awful! It took over an hour to get seated with a reservation! No apology no help! Finally get seated and food was ok. Service was awkward and uncomfortable. When we got our tab, we noticed they charged us $7 for water they served us and didn’t even ask water options. They took it off but still, if we didn’t notice it we would have paid over $15 for water. In addition we had to ask and wait even more for specific meat - we had our tab and still waiting for requested filet and pork belly. No discount , no apology, nothing special for the long waits

    Horrible service from the get go, reservation was for 5:30: which is early, they made us wait until 5:45 before seating us, while others were taken to their table. Then the table didn’t have menus and was missing some utensils. Wait staff is very young and obviously inexperienced, looked like it was their first day on the job for some of them. Meal service was very good, very attentive and plenty to select from. Then came desert, I ordered the house special, they didn’t have Papayas, then we ordered two special coffee cocktails. The waiter came by and said the couldn’t do it and decided to make up his own suggestions on how to make something similar to the Spanish coffee and Expresso Martini. Both came back luke warn when we both asked for hot, and both a disaster. Nobody came by to ask how it was. All in all, it’s a once a year kind of place to eat. Not very bad not very good just okay.

    Was great. Our sitter/server was a little bit all over the place and focused on “ I broke my nail “ so she would space out on what we ordered come back and re-ask again but other than that was good.
