   I arrived at 7:10 for my 7:15 reservation, checked in with the hostess and waited, and waited, and waited. After an hour I assumed I hadn't heard my name over the loud noise of the place but no. Fogo chose to badly overbook the dining room so an hour later there were still 3 other parties of 2 who'd been waiting even longer than me still waiting for their tables. Other reviews here, on Google, and on Yelp indicate this a very common practice at this location so don't come too hungry and be prepared to wait. I was told if I left I'd be marked as a no show for my reservation despite arriving early and waiting for an hour. The staff seemed to be doing their best but their management set them up to fail. I get that occasionally there can be some waiting time to be seated as some parties move faster or slower but if the reviews are to be believed this particular location has systemic issues which appear to start at the top. I would only recommend them for dinner if you enjoy milling around in groups of hungry, unhappy people, and don't have anything else planned that night because you're going to be there for a long time, and not necessarily because you love the food and want to have more.

   Variety, quantity, and lively amosphere: those are the touchstones of Fogo's dining experience. I was there for a wine dinner celebrating a new milestone in Chilean Bordeaux, and the staff were very gracious in presenting the wine alongside the multicourse meal. Those looking for a contemplative dinner or a sober business ambiance might not be best served here, but Fogos delivers for most other diners. You should bring a large appetite to get the most out of your dining dollar.

   Rarely got served meat. When we did it was like the last bit of it. Ate mostly salad and bread while waiting for meat to come to our table. Wasn’t a lot of options either for meat.

   The website said business casual attire but many of the customers had normal street clothes. One woman was pregnant with her belly showing which she placed on the buffet counter while eating off the serving tongs that everyone uses to sample the food with. The seafood was over cooked not worth getting. The meat was the only thing that tasted good. Overall very unprofessional.

   Food was delicious, but had to do some self service. Needed to see our main waiter a little more often. The food runners walking around got their exercise today. Everyone was very friendly. Definitely would come back to this location. Happy Easter!

   We came to celebrate a birthday. This was the second time I've come to Fogo de Chao, first time to the Portland location. Good experience overall. Despite having a reservation it still took an additional 45 minutes to get a table. I don't think we'll be back.

   This was not a good experience. We were seated in the far back corner near the workers kiosk. Where we were seated it was clear we were in their way and they seemed annoyed by that. Also because where we were seated the meat servers weren’t as consistent with us. We could clearly see that others were being catered to and provided more attentive service. We are two very understanding and easy going people, but for how much $$$ we spent, we expected more.

    I don’t understand why, if I made a reservation for the $49 menu, I was ultimately charged $68 per guest. I felt embarrassed because my budget was $100 plus tip, but in the end I had to pay $160. My guest noticed that I didn’t have enough money. You shouldn’t advertise a $49 menu and then charge $68. I felt very disappointed.
