This was my 10th or 11th time here and the past two experiences have been the same... very bad. When you pay over 50$ just to start and your server never comes back with water or to take a wine order, well it would make most upset. I even tried to locate a manager and no one could seem to find one. Probably will not be returning after this.
Was not greeted upon initially entering restaurant. But once seated the service was excellent. Brunch did not include everything advertised like waffles and omelettes. But overall the food was delicious. Service at table was superb.
Good food. However, if your reservation is closer to closing, you probably won’t get to sample all of the meats. We were looking forward to the lamb, and it was never brought to us- even after requesting it from our waiter. Disappointing, but what we did have, was great.
Todo delicioso y buen ambiente
Our table was not ready. They told us to go sit at the bar. Then asked if we wanted to stay at the bar. We said no. Then were put at a table in the corner next to the kitchen. They were out of menus and it took 3 attempts to get the wine list and my date did not get her glass till we were finished eating. I asked for the check early as we had other plans after dinner. It took 3 attempts to get the check and we still ended up having to wait. It was very upsetting for the price of 170$ for 2.
Great Valentines event
Food came out very slow overall the service was poor. We had to ask the waiter was he the only servings.
Delicious food and great service!
The food was pretty boring, most of the meat was dry. I definitely prefer a normal coursed meal.
Food the normal high standard met. The service at this location a bit better than that at others.
Everyone seemed confused on who was helping. Our main waitress rarely came by. I believe 4 or 5 different people came by to check on us. We never knew who was waiting on us.
Very good date spot
We had a great dinner. The service was fantastic, staff are excellent. They closed the restaurant around us whilst we ordered more wine and we finally noticed it was time to go. Place is very clean. Food was great, the salad bar had so many good choices, the pepper brown sugar bacon is a must to eat. The meats were plentiful and cooked to perfection and they accommodate to your preference too. Well done to rare.
If you've not been then you need to put this place on your list of places to go.
Choice of meats limited! Choice of wines limited! Needed crisphead and romaine lettuce!
I had to ask several times for the meat I was wanting because it never came around and then when it arrived it was burnt on it.
It's pricey, however the experience is amazing as well as the service. Can't wait to go again!
Love, love, love this restaurant! This trip was for my daughters 25th birthday. Only 2 of the 6 guest had the experience before and everyone else was DELIGHTED. I recommend any and everyone try it at least once.
Great family celebration in NOLA. Tasty food, attentive service, and good wine.
The food was amazing and the servers were so friendly. Had a very nice birthday there. Waitresses were a little bit scarce but the servers were quick to be sure we had what we needed.
I RECENTLY DINED WITH A PARTY OF SIX. WE ALL ENJOYED OURSELVES IMMENSELY AND HAVE NOTHING BUT POSITIVE FEEDBACK. OUR DINING EXPERIENCE WAS OUTSTANDING, AND WE WILL BE RETURNING IN THE NEAR FUTURE AND REFERRING OTHERS AS WELL.
Great location, clean and energetic ambiance INCREDIBLE service and the food was delicious and plentiful
The food and service was excellent I would definitely recommend a friend
Yesterday was our second visit to Fogo. We are thrilled with the options offered at the Market Table as well as the different cuts of meat. Our experience lasted over two hours, but we were never rushed to leave. Service was wonderful again. At $42 for brunch, the value can’t be beat. We wish we could go at least monthly. Thank you Fogo !
We love this place it’s always fun. Just wish sometimes the staff would not ask every two minutes if we need something. This last time there were just too many servers hovering. We love the place. The food is fabulous and the value is great!
Everything was very good from the food to the service. You never had to ask for anything. The Manager came by our table to make sure we were being waited on in a timely manner and if we needed anything. Joseph was our waiter and he was excellent. Everyone was very accommodating and you couldn’t ask for a more pleasant experience.
This location was a great experience overall! I rated the ambiance a 4 because the ceiling was leaking a little bit near our table. Our service was amazing. They even roasted a whole pineapple even though they didn't serve that at this location. It meant a lot to us just because one of our friends from nebraska came down and we brought them there for the experience and the pineapple. It meant so much to us! We will be back!
Awesome experience and the food was really good! Great group experience with our team!
It was great!
Service and food were great! Love this place. Will definitely go back.
We have eaten at other Fogo's. This was by far the worst! If I managed this location, I'd be embarrassed! There were so many things wrong, it's not worth my time explaining them.
The servers and hostess were all amazing, hard-working, very efficient and amiable. The meat selections were good but not everything was brought to the table without a request. The prices are expensive but worth it if you intend to eat quite a bit. The reduced price for kids is helpful but I wish there were some other pricing options. The salad bar size has decreased a bit which makes it tough to justify the expense if you are going to limit yourself to salad bar.
First experience here - I don’t think it was necessarily this location - some of it has to do with their process. The meat and other items were good and plentiful - though there were like 6 different kinds of chicken listed as being served and only 2 came out while we were there. The revolving waitstaff was simply aggravating and I had no idea who to ask for things. The service was also slow - side items came out long after meat started coming. And i completely disliked the red/green flip the card and the constant disruption asking if I wanted different meats. I personally think this is not a good fit for me. I don’t need to overeat/gorge at a restaurant because it is unlimited servings. Also, the price was a little steep for what you receive. I would say it may be something to try at least once because the things that bothered me you may be okay with.
New Year’s Eve
Because it was New Year's Eve there was a small glitch in timely service which was handled professionally by our waiter. This was my fourth trip to Fogo and we will return.
Great food and alcohol with great friends
Service was a little slow tonight. Probably because they’re busy due to the season. Besides that, it was another great experience.
It was a mother daughter annual dinner and we had horrible service. The “experience” only included 4 meats. We were not offered any more. We asked multiple times for different meats and we finally got the 4th meat we had for the evening. One of us asked for a glass of wine at the end of the meal and never got it after asking twice about the glass. Overall a terrible meal, we were looking forward to this having heard such wonderful reviews and we were very disappointed.
Our server was phenomenal! However, they do not clearly mark that they separate their breakfast, from their brunch. They are the only location that has a breakfast — the breakfast does not include meat or sides that are expected when dining at Fogo.
We were put in a back room and pretty much forgotten. The waitress/waiter only came by once during the meal and didn’t stop long enough to see if we needed anything. At the end of the meal someone different came over and said she would bring my husband some more tea, after 15 minutes we gave up and left. The meats were not flavored well, the cheese bread was over cooked. Extremely disappointing.
