The food was phenomenal and the service went above and beyond. Amazing place to eat at!
It was my boyfriend’s birthday and everything was perfect! The food was great, the service was incredible! Highly recommend restaurant
It was a different setting. I was expecting more variety of some American flavors included with the Brazilian, but overall it was nice.
I was underwhelmed with the meats and for $170 for 2, it wasn’t worth the price. The whole experience was mediocre.
Everything was great
It was great! I don’t think I will come again because of Covid. It wasn’t Covid friendly.. tables were too close to each other and the food gets
It was absolutely wonderful for our anniversary! James, who was one of the serves cutting the selection of meat was absolutely phenomenal! Please ask for him when going. Very polite and catering. Erica is also one of the supervisors that made our experience wonderful as well.
Our reservation was at 11:00pm but we didn’t know that’s the same time the restaurant closed. We were rushed through our meal. One server “Morgan” was extremely rude. She pick up my husbands can and poured his soda can in his cup and said drink up. She was very rude. She kept telling us that the restaurant was closed and we came late. This was the worst dinning experience my family had ever had.
I've eaten at several Brazilian steakhouses and overall I was not impressed. The salad bar was sparse in choices. Waitress took our order and disappeared, didnt get our drinks forever.
Loved it and loved the service staff!!!
Service was amazing and getting our reservation was easy and timely.
The food was fantastic. Wait staff were attentive but very much trying to up-sell the whole time. It’s a shame they didn’t say it was double the price due to Christmas. It was very misleading. I ended up only having the market table without the meat for $31 plus tax.
Our attire was plain....jeans and shirt but our appearance did not circumvent the idea of being treated as if we were the most important people in the world. We had a wonderful time....rolled ourselves to the hotel with the lingering taste of a wonderful cooking of the chefs, the attentive staff....and a great memory of how wonderful this place is.
Everything was great. My only issue was that the ladies’ bathroom only has one stall and a long line. We had to go next door to the hotel to use the facilities. Being it was for hotel guests only, we had to get someone to unlock it.
We all ordered the all you can eat meats with the salad bar. Salad bar was fair but the meats and deserts were soooo good. Our waiter Chris was great and all the others that helped with our large table. Will definitely go back.
Excellent! Will definitely treat others here!
I was there for my masters degree graduation celebration and the staff made me feel special and took very good care of all of us!
1 year anniversary
As a first timer, the churrasso experience was one for the books! We will be back😁
Every thing was salty and we were served very slowly. Would not recommend
I’ve been to this chain many times all over the US and can I say the New Orleans location is so welcoming. It was extremly clean and hospitable. Thanksgiving well spent!!
We enjoy eating at Fogo de Chao. The food, drink and service are excellent. Certainly will go back for unlimited meat!!
Overall good experience. It seems to be a situation where the servers all tend to all tables - One of the servers took our drink order and never brought one of our beverages (sweet tea) We made do with just water. The same server stated that they would replenish the garlic mashed potatoes and never did. Also, the garlic mashed potatoes were the only side that we received after being told that there would be two (the second one was some type of bananas, I believe). The atmosphere is brighter and louder than most traditional steakhouses, but the interactive experience does encourage more communication. Overall, we enjoyed our meal, just a few oversights put a small damper on a significantly priced meal. However, we will be back!
Great meal and even better service - will definitely go back!
Food had too much salt in it. service was real bad.waited 40 min for desert.
My wife enjoyed our wonderful meal. And our hostess was very wonderful. This is truly a hidden gem.
Everything was great except we were seated under a pipe that kept dripping on us the whole time.
I’ve been to Fogo a few times before, but this recent experience was the best by far. Food and service were on par!
Food was amazing. Service was hit or miss
It was my birthday! It was a late reservation and I guess the restaurant wanted to close early so they tried to discourage me from coming at first. Once I hit there though, the staff was nice and did their best to cater to me.
This place was so great. Great service and experience. It was my birthday and they made it great. The caramelized pineapple old fashion was so good! I can’t complain about ANYTHING.
The food was good but it was better the first time I went. Some of the meat was a little dry and the sides got cold really fast.
The food as always was great but the service was not good at all... My waitress made a mistake in telling me about the wagu beef by making it seem like it was included in the cuts of meat.. when I went back and asked her about it again she said it was separate. I informed her I didn't want it. I was directed to someone else who basically told me I couldn't resend the order. So I was forced to pay for something I didn't what I'm which I stated to 2 people.. I won't return to this place because of this...
Experience was awesome. Food was great!! Sadly our waitress service wasn’t to good. We had a party of 6, and after receiving our first cocktail we never seen our waitress again. We asked several servers, bus boys to call our waitress. Other than being parched it was great!
ambiance was amazing, food was delicious. we were there for my friend's birthday celebration and you guys did not disappoint.
Nola downtown parking is free on Sundays, bonus!
However, on the last day of restaurant week I had a 2pm reservation with Fogo only to learn the restaurant week deal didn't begin until dinner at 5pm! Whoops. Fair enough, explored downtown and at 5pm began the massive eating experience.
Lots to like at the salad bar, the greens and cheese really compliment the meats that arrive periodically. Everything was good, meats are high quality. Staff was super attentive and polite. COVID response was thoughtful as they filled the salad plates without any need to touch them (servers can juggle multiple plates too - quite impressively). Dessert was fantastic, trying the key lime and chocolate cake. Both were very rich and strong flavors, one chocolate and one fruity is a great flavor mix to share with a date. A super deal, I just need to use more restraint and not overeat next time so I can enjoy the desert more!
There were some kids running around and it was a little loud at times but I'd still recommend the 5pm start time. Skipping lunch and doing an early dinner works well, come hungry and the value is incredible.
Good food good service!!
