Dear Fogo de Chão Team, I’m writing to express my disappointment with a recent experience at your restaurant. I made a reservation through the special promotion link, which directed me to OpenTable and clearly advertised the $49 dinner special. Nowhere on the page did it state that the promotion was not valid on Father’s Day. When I arrived and mentioned the special to our server, she acknowledged it without issue. However, a few minutes later, the general manager came over and informed us that the special would not be honored due to a supposed fine print exclusion for Father’s Day. This was not mentioned anywhere during the reservation process or on the promotional page. I’ve since re-checked, and there is still no such disclaimer. What made the situation worse was the dismissive and condescending tone of the manager, which made me feel belittled and as though I was being accused of misunderstanding or trying to game the system. This was both unnecessary and upsetting. It’s frustrating to feel misled by unclear promotional practices and then be treated poorly when trying to address it. I hope this feedback prompts a review of how your promotions are communicated and how guests are treated when they raise concerns. I’d appreciate a response and clarification on how situations like this will be handled going forward.

Food is usually great. Today it was mediocre at best. Maybe because they were so busy with Father’s Day. Still disappointed to spend over $200 for two people.

We really enjoyed the food. The service was great. The only detractor was our reservation was 7:45 and they didn’t sit us until 8:10 (and that was after I had questioned why it was taking so long.) So everybody was nice about it and kind, but I do think that if you make a reservation, shouldn’t be sat 25 minutes later! What’s the sense of making a reservation then? I could’ve just gone in and said OK how long will it take. Still our favorite restaurant and we will definitely return, but you should maybe not take reservations if you cannot abide by the times.

Recently attended the Tequila and Tomahawk night at Fogo and I was not really impressed by it. At the end of the event I only received two pieces of steak and the one piece mostly had fat on it.

Had a reservation at 7:00 PM and received communication at 7:15 that table should be ready in 30 minutes (by 7:45 PM). I didn't want to wait 45 minutes from reservation to be seated. My family decided to call the Fogo De Cho in Denver Downtown location and drove 30 minutes for better experience.

If a person is using a wheelchair or walker, this place isn’t a good place for a meal. It’s very cramped since it’s a rather small dining room. My mom and I like certain meats rare. We had to wait for our cuts to comeback after they would be pulled from the fire. There was one female Gaucho who wouldn’t come to us even when we would call for her. After I made the complaint, she finally came to a table next our table. She still didn’t ask us if we would like whatever meat she was assigned to. Some of the Gauchos would tell my mom and me that the requested cuts were rare when it was medium to medium-well. I did let the management team know that we’re not planning to come back because of how tight it is and we were lied to about the cuts being rare.
