   This was our first experience in Fogo de Chao. The ambiance is nice and the food was good with lots of choices for meat-lovers (obviously), but also good choices for piscaterians and vegetarians. The best part was the service though! Everyone was very helpful and super friendly!

   First, let me say we were celebrating my daughter’s wedding anniversary. And the entire evening became an embarrassment for me. From the moment we were seated, and we requested water for all- there were issues. Two of the five water glasses had some oily substance on them. We sent them back after asking three waiters and none of them responded until the fourth. That took 15 minutes and we had not ordered yet. When the waiter came to take our order, two at the table requested ice tea. That took another 15 minutes. We all had the salad bar. The meat was VERY slow coming around, and twice we requested meat we NEVER got! One person requested lamb which she never got until the check was presented. We wanted tea refills and asked three times before only one of us got a refill. This was Monday night and the restaurant was not that busy! We had to ask for the cheese and honey and when the server came with it, the pieces were so small it was barely a taste and that was all he had on his platter! After spending $400 for dinner ( we had our check split) this was the first time we EVER were disappointed with our dinner. We were planning a birthday dinner next month but are having second thoughts now. Just thought you should know this was NOT our typical dining experience in your restaurant. Oh, and when we received the bill, we asked the waiter to split the bill. No issue. However, when we signed the bill we relied on the suggested amount of tip to be correct- but it WASN’T. It was based on the ENTIRE bill- so we DOUBLE- TIPPED our servers. That should be corrected in your system- so we paid EXTRA for the lousy service we received!!! Not appropriate! Sherrie D. Wilson

   The restaurant was very crowded; the staff was very friendly but it was extremely busy. That being said, they were attentive and happy to help but definitely overwhelmed. We were seated at a table in the middle of the room; the food was mostly brought to tables on the perimeter due to crowd size and difficulty for them to maneuver. There were periods where we waited up to 10 minutes before someone actually came to our table. When the food was brought over, it was very good. They ran out of a few things before everyone at our table was served since other tables seemed to be easier to reach. That was a bit annoying, but the staff was extremely busy and weren’t purposely avoiding us. The beef was all sirloin - there was no filet mignon. Pork and chicken were available. I did see sausage going around, but it never came to our table. The market bar (salad bar) was terrific - lots of fresh food and a wide variety. It was a good experience for our first time there, but I doubt we will return.

   What an incredible value for lunch: $15 for the huge Market Bar loaded with so many delicious food choices, plus just $10 more to add 8-10 ounces of meat. We added a creme brulee for $10.50 that my wife and I agreed was the best we've ever had. Service was outstanding and the restaurant is gorgeous. We drove 60 miles just to dine here and it may become a habit.

   Beautiful atmosphere. Staff was great. However, food was not good. Meat was either too well done or not done enough. Some had good flavor but most were flavorless. We had high hopes, heard great things. So maybe an off day but we won't be going back. Definitely not worth the money.

    An Amazing Experience (again). The Fogo in Jacksonville consistently has the best cuts of meat and the best service. The manager, Marcio, is on top of everything and makes sure the quality is always top notch. When I want high quality steak in Jacksonville, I know I won’t be disappointed at Fogo.

    The food was delicious, but we only saw a few of the same items being passed again and again. Most of the meats listed on the menu never emerged from the kitchen. We enjoyed what we did receive though- everything was delicious! Service was hit or miss. Everyone was very kind and seemed attentive, but then we never received some items we requested (like extra fried bananas) and other items we only received after a long wait. For example, we had to ask several times over the span of 30 minutes or so before a simple bowl of ice cream for dessert was finally brought out. Our server disappeared before we finished our meals and we literally never saw them again. Ultimately I’d return for a second chance because we enjoyed the food we did receive, but if we had another similar experience on a second visit I wouldn’t come back. When you’re spending $400 on dinner for four you’d really hope for the service and menu options to be as advertised.

    We aren't sure whay was happening tonight but the service was horrible. It took an hour to get my drink from the bar and I had to ask for a water refill. The server who introduced herself to us just disappeared and my husband had to track someone down to find out where my drink was. We have been here a few other times before and had gotten a lot better service. I am not sure that we will be back. It was kind of embarrassing given that we brought in out of town visitors that are family and we had talked so highly of this restaurant.

    The brunch at Fogo de Chao is absolutely incredible. The market table and the waffles and the omelettes are delicious and all of the meats included with the full experience are incredible. We can’t wait to go back again!

    Food and service was excellent as always! It took a few tries to get the Brazilian cheese and the Short Ribs but once they came it was well worth the wait! I always enjoy a night out at Fogo!

    Everything was wonderful as usual. Just beware, in a restaurant where everything is delivered to your table on trays and skewers….the shrimp cocktail is not included 😀. Enjoy the extra unexpected $26 for 5 shrimp. Damn good though 🤷🏼‍♂️. Gotta respect the hustle

    The service was horrible. If I’m going to pay that much money I expect not to have to ask for everything. No one came to my table to refill drinks. I had to ask for water. We ordered two drinks from the bar and never got them. Had to ask for the dessert menu. We ordered four and two came out had to ask where the other 2 desserts were. Also had to ask for silverware to eat the desserts. Then after eating them and waiting 20 minutes I had to ask for the check. The food was good but the service was very disappointing.

    The service and atmosphere was excellent, but the steaks were inconsistent with the level of rareness. Requested a medium rare throughout the night and got every possible level of fineness from rare to medium well

    Brunch was delicious but there should be a separate area with the omelet station and waffle station. The “chefs” couldn’t keep up with the crowd. Other than that I highly recommend.

    I was ok. For the price i have been to other Brazilian Steakhouses that were far superior. They were pushing chorizo and chicken legs. Had to keep asking for other cuts. It was fair at best. My favorite at other restaurants is the baby Pichana, very disappointing, had an off taste.

    One feedback we have everytime we go is that they never bring around the premier cuts we always have to ask several times before they show up at the table, they always bring around the cheaper meats.
