Alcatra / Top Sirloin
Alcatra is a special cut of top sirloin originating in the steakhouses of southern brazil. One of the largest cuts served in our dining rooms, you shouldn't miss a sample of this perfectly seasoned, thinly carved cut.
The balance of sweet and salt is a critical element of southern brazilian cuisine. The caramelized bananas help prepare and enliven the palate throughout the meal.

We used OpenTable to book a birthday lunch on a Sunday for my daughter. My overall complaint is that there are a lot of workers working, but they don’t coordinate very well. When we sat down we received the cheese bread and drinks right away which was good. They still have their salad bar, but the workers have to bring the items to you. From the salad bar we received chicken salad, romaine salad, apple salad, and a charcuterie board along with Italian bread. Everything from the salad bar was really good, except the bread which was stale. The meat came out consistently and we were able to get pieces cooked just the way we wanted. The server said they would start bringing out the sides now that we were getting the meat. No sides came out until the end of our meal and by then we were already full from the meat. The sides they brought out were mashed potatoes, cooked plantains and polenta. Even though on the reservation I specifically stated that it was a birthday celebration, Fogo de Chão did nothing to make our meal special. Our server seemed too busy with other tables to give us the attention we deserved for the price we were paying. Fogo de Chão probably needs to hire more servers and give each server less tables. Overall, the food was excellent, but the service was lacking. Our server never seemed to be around and when he was around, he seemed rushed and was running from table to table trying to get everyone what they wanted. We paid about $250 for a lunch for four people. If I’m going to spend that much money, I expect the food AND the service to be exceptional.

It was my first time visiting a Brazilian steakhouse, and as someone who typically eats seafood I was pleasantly surprised with my enjoyment! It was a perfect way to sample all different meats without the stress of ordering an entire meal and not loving it. It was a fun way to celebrate our engagement and our waiter even insisted on giving us dessert to go (since neither of us could even think of eating one more bite at the table). Drinks were delicious - I tried to mango ginger martini which was to die for. Awesome experience and we look forward to our next time in Indy.
Really liked the way they dealt with closing the salad bar, i.e., bring trays to the table. I actually preferred it.
Honestly, pretty overpriced for what you are getting. The drinks were good but the food never got to us fresh. Although the service started out really well and the staff were friendly, the latter half of our stay was mostly ignored. Great bread though! Killer bread.

Food was very good. I didn't like the fact that you couldn't go to the salad bar. They walked things around but it was limited.
I liked that they bring everything to your table for you, but I didn’t like not having the cards to flip when we were done eating. I was interrupted multiple times while trying to talk to my wife by individuals offering us more food. I know it’s not their fault because it’s the job they are supposed to do. I just wish we had something to let them know we were done eating so we could talk. Still a lovely establishment and amazing food! My favorite restaurant in the city!
Mediocre food with semi-okay service. I didn’t really like the selection of food. The meat was cooked well but the whole experience just was not something I was impressed with. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

We had 8 of us meet up for Father’s Day. Service and everything was great until it was like we were cut off. We had to lee asking for things because they’d go past our table and not even look at us. I think if there was 1 red/green medallion to alert staff if the table was done eating that would’ve solved this. With 8 people, 4 being older people, everyone gets done eating at different times. Food was delicious when it did come around. Just felt like we were nagging to try to get food. Also wish the sides would continue to come around during meat service.

The experience has changed some with all of the "new normal" presented by COVID so the price seems a little high now as you're honestly interrupted almost endlessly. It's not by fault of the restaurant, it's just the way it has to be now to be able to have all the yummy offerings from the fresh bar. Other than that, it was lovely as usual!
It’s always a good experience here. I had mentioned that we were celebrating a birthday and Father’s Day. I figured maybe they would do something a little extra for us or offer something, but it’s understandable that they didn’t too I guess. I wish the corona didn’t change some things like not being able to see a drink menu but it’s not Fogo’s fault!

I’ve been here many times, always consistent, always excellent service and great food
The meat that was offered was excellent, however due to the Covid 19 restrictions we were not allowed at the salad bar which is a HUGE part of the overall value and dinner, the salad ingredients were brought out on trays, three at a time and you had to take whatever they offered, it’s very hard to build a salad when you cannot visually see what’s on it and they’re bringing out three items at a time, to try to imagine what you want on your salad is impossible. It was very disappointing and seemed to be a very pricey meal without the value of a full salad bar included in the price. Either lower the price or have someone serve the salad bar onto your plate while you make your selection, I want a salad bar and without it, the experience was less than perfect. I won’t return until things are back to normal or they figure out how to serve the full salad bar.

Togo de Chao is the ultimate Brazilian Steakhouse experience. We absolutely love coming here and have been visiting for years. Staff is so tentative and so ready to serve, their kind and are making extra precautions during the pandemic to maintain sanitation and safety for customers but also their staff. Love supporting Fogo de chao and recommend anyone to visit!

My husband & I went to celebrate our 10th Anniversary. For my 1st time experience it was overall pretty good.
Fantastic staff. Rico was especially attentive & helpful.
Arrived 10 minutes prior to reservation; seated 30 minutes after reservation.
Waited at the table for 10-15 minutes before someone asked if someone had taken our drink orders, they had, but no one returned with them.
Salad bar was not replenished well. Cheeses were depleted.
We had to ask for the side dishes twice before they brought them, and by then we had almost finished the meal.
Waited 20 minutes to get the bill.
Loved the grilled mozzarella with honey!

I’ve been coming to Fogo’s since it opened, at least once a month. It’s my go to place for business and personal meetings. However, my last visit was a disaster. Although you can pack the place with paying guests, the quality of service and attention to detail is greatly reminisced. It was entirely too many people seated at one time. Every inch of that place was seated, it was difficult to get around , replenishing food at the bar was not happening timely, we waited in select meats and one meat we never saw at all.

Our dining experiences was impacted by a large table of diners. The servers and staff catered to their needs and basically left us to forage at the market table .
This is the second time we have been to Fogo. Both times the service was awful. We waited 20 to get an iced tea and my water was constantly empty. Dirty plates weren’t picked up and We had to ask for polenta and potatoes. This is supposed to be an upscale restaurant. For the price I should get way better service
