We had a good time. The server was real attentive. Food was great we had a great time.
The service is amazing. The food was not great. It has a cafeteria ambiance. It you are very hungry and not looking for a dining experience this would be ok

Birthday Dinner for Soulmate
Food was delicious and service was great prior to being seated. However, we had to wait almost 45 minutes for a table WITH a dinner reservation. We had 9 very hungry people in our party and it was quite unfortunate that our reservation wasn’t honored at the right time.
The manager profusely apologized and seemed like he was trying his best, but I just wish somebody had told us we’d be waiting an additional 40-45 minutes after arriving for our reservation.

Very good restaurant. For our first time it was very special...
I had a party of 10 we were sat in the very back of the restaurant which was fine but we were ignored multiple times. We were there seated and served meat three different times and had to ask for the mashed potatoes and other “complimentary “ items we waited for drinks over 30 mins and even had to get loud to even get the check. I spent $1000 and it definitely wasn’t worth it. Definitely won’t go back to this location again

My husband and I went to Fogo and really enjoyed the brunch.
This was absolutely terrible . We were sat very late . It was chaos in there . People everywhere . Very loud . Kids running around (at 930 pm on Saturday). Our server was terrible . She barely came one time and we ordered appetizers which never came . The server NEVER came back . We didn’t even have drinks . It wasn’t until almost at the end of the night when a different male server came and took care of us and what we needed . We had like 6 requests for him . Poor guy. He took care of everything and was very nice . But the server experience was a 0 before him . We were very frustrated . We will never return . We were there about 10 years ago and it was completely different . Sucks that it’s so different now

I went a few years ago and the quality and ambiance have decreased significantly. Now it looks like a cheap all you can eat with the difference that it is not cheap at all.

Service sucked . Didn’t get drinks orders until the end of meal!! Ask server several times for different items and never received them but overall cool experience

Fogo is always right on and reminds me of going to a churrascaria when I was a kid in Rio! So glad it's back!
We were seated and didn't have a waiter/waitress for at least 15-20min. Through our dinner, our server didn't check in regularly to ensure everything was ok or to refill drinks ordered. We had to ask another server to have meats sent over as we were being passed up in general; other tables offered the meats and would walk to the back or another section of the restaurant frequently.
My sister was visiting from out of town, so we expected the experience to be better. Food overall tasted good once we were able to be served table side with other meat options.

While the food we did get was good, the overall experience was not.
Service was SO SLOW.
When we finally got meat, 5 kinds came at once and we couldn't take them all because of room on the plate.... then for almost 40 mins, there were no meat options going around.
We had an interesting conversation about the tactic of the restaurant. Fill you up a ton and then make you wait so you get overly full so there is not a lot of wasted meat? Would be an interesting business school operations case BUT did not make for a pleasant night.
Also, they were out of 3 different bottles of wine we tried to order. By the time they figured that out, we didn't even try again because there was no more meat coming around.
The idea is so fun, but we were just frustrated by the service and execution.
A bummer for over $200 and what was an opportunity for a fun date night.

I graduated 07/11/2021. I didn’t have time to celebrate with love ones because I had to work. So I treated myself to a meal. So I thought. A lovely family bought my drink and covered my meal and the staff gave me dessert on the house. Hard work does pay off. But most of all it warned my heart and made me feel special…. It’s the same carefree acts that makes a difference. The wait staff continuously checked on me. Sometimes to much lol. Great place to share such a wonderful evening!
The salad bar food was bland. The top sirloin was bland. Bacon-wrapped chicken was the only good thing that tasted good along with the lamb. All else was just bland. Other competitors food have way more taste and variety. Fogo… you have slipped down badly.

They brought me something different than what I ordered with no explanation as to why I didnt get my order. I said I didnt want it and just went with the salad bar which ended up being free. Super weird though. What Was brought to me wasn’t even on the menu.

Three meat eaters were very happy with the meat options. Yes I understand the restaurant is primarily a meat establishment, but the 1 pescatarian wished there were more seafood options at the buffet. They ran out of some of the buffet items and it took awhile to replenish. They were also out of plates several time.

I’ve been to the Rosemont in downtown Chicago location for Fogo de Chao. I find that the consistency of the food and service to be much higher quality and the downtown location.
Well that’s always been the case, last night I gathered 12 friends to enjoy catching up last night. Many times it took over a half an hour to get certain drinks delivered, butter on the table after multiple requests, etc.
Where the food in the downtown location is consistently great, my only request would be if you’re going back to having a full house of customers, make sure you have enough staff to offset that so you don’t have to be waiting a very long time for a quality service.
Overall, anyone that hasn’t been in particular and Joyce a large selection of various meats will not be disappointed.

I've been to Fogo many times pre-COVID. This was my first visit since COVID hit and it was disappointing. Minimal service, trimmed down salad bar, and a drastically limited selection of meats (we saw maybe 5-6 cuts in rotation throughout the whole dinner). It took us 15 minutes after seating just to get a glass of water. I understand they're operating in a challenging time but I will think twice before I got back any time soon.

The ribs were very dry & tough. Most of the meat had way to much sodium and was not of a good quality.

Great place for Sunday brunch, will definitely come back when in Chicago. The chain as a hole does a great job in the three cities we hav tried so far Pittsburgh, Scottsdale, and Chicago.
Came here for brunch and was disappointed to see that the spread here was far different than the one in Rosemont. We were looking forward to the braised beef hash, fresh waffles, and the fresh corncakes. However, the potatoes had no meat and we had to specially request the others I mentioned. They were accommodating but it also was a nuisance. The manager and server and all the gauchos were incredible, but disappointed in the inconsistencies between locations because had I known, I would have went to Rosemont.

Waiter spilled CocaCola on my wife’s dress. No apology was given. Supposedly gave a discount, but they charged items we did not order, as well as items we ordered and did not receive. Tried to talk to a manager, was told no manager is available. Tried calling in to talk to a manager, told we would get a call back, but never did. Terrible experience - many such restaurants exist in Chicago, go elsewhere.
