We had a great night celebrating my husband’s birthday. The staff were super helpful and responsive to our requests. They even gave my husband a free birthday dessert. Such a sweet memory we will always have. Thank you!

The ambience, service, preparation, salad bar, variety and sequencing were as in the South of Brazil which is from where we come from. Excellent job!
Everything with the all-you-can-eat dining experience was phenomenal from start to finish. Salad bar was incredible, the selection on everything from cheeses to smoked salmon made it a must-have. Service was great, friendly, very quick, and my plate was always full. The Pecanha was cooked perfectly and was my favorite cut of the night - both separate times it was brought to my table. All of the cuts of things I’d never tried before were great. Haven’t had such an incredible assortment of quality food in a long time, Fogo de Chao definitely raised the bar. Kudos.
Our waiter disappeared for 15 minutes before someone else came along to tell us he went home. The new waiter took a long time to deliver drinks (one person in our group waited 30min for her first cocktail from the bar). The servers didn’t seem to pay attention to red/green cards and brought all the meat out in the first 15 minutes of us sitting down with plates. After the first rush it took a long time to have anyone else come around with more meat.
I’m not sure if they were understaffed but it was an odd experience overall.

The selections were plentiful. Side dishes alone were worth the evening price. Enjoyed it a lot. This was my first visit.

This was my first time at Fogo Austin, as I’ve been to the Fogo in SA before. First off, great location and comfortable atmosphere.
The servers and waiters were all amazing. Diligent and kept us informed, such as the fact they only had 1 bartender working and asked for our patience. I appreciate when servers make me aware of the situation.
My only complaint was the food. Some of the meats were dry or overly salty. The salt levels seem to overtake the flavor of many of the meats, such as the picanha.
This being said, everything at the salad bar was great and those cheese breads made my night.
Specifically asked for window seating. When we arrived we were told a party of 20 was arriving shortly. In our 2 hour dine time the chairs/tables were never moved. Nor was I called to be informed that my request couldn’t be met in the first place. Will be going to other locations San Antonio/Dallas where it’s much quieter and more attentive staff.

Underwhelming experience to the say the least. The valet was rude and offer no assistance when I had a parking question. Once we began our meal we asked repeatedly for medium rare cuts of meat and all they kept bringing out was well done. I then asked for lamb chops and those never came. My advice, Don't waste your money here!

Beef was not cooked nicely and lacked flavor. One of the workers kept telling us about the arrows around the salad bar, even though he had told us already. Waiting to close the check took way to long.

Food was great and speedy to get to our table. If we asked for a particular cut of meat it always came quickly. Waiter was very slow to get drinks and to get the bill.
Wait staff was spread thin and not enough servers came around to check on our needs. Wait time to close our tab was way too long. The food, like always, was excellent and beyond comparison.

There are other steakhouses with better service, sanitation, and food quality. This visit was all around disappointing for the price point with the exception of the hosts who were kind and friendly. If I went back, it’d be to have a drink with the hosts because the drink and the hosts were the best part.

The service is great however it seemed that we were only served the same types of meat. We were hoping for a diverse type of protein but all we get getting served was sirloin and ribeye. The kitchen was also backed up so a few items we were ordered took longer than expected.
We had an amazing first time experience! As someone who worked at multiple busy downtown restaurants for many years, I can say I was genuinely very impressed by what a well oiled-machine their whole process is and the staff was exceptional and always swift to take care of whatever you may need. I was especially impressed with how well the manager on the floor kept everything in a massive, and full dining room smooth sailing. Best customer service I have seen in quite some time.
Took way too long for servers to bring our sides and we waited over an hour for filet to come around to our table, after asking atleast 7 different servers.

We waited 15 minutes to be seated even with reservations. Side dishes came halfway through the meal. Meats arrived late and we had to ask for them. Too many people and too little staff. On top of that the valet forgot to get our car. We won’t be back.

We had a large group with lots of demands and the staff did a great job of taking care of us all. The food is amazing and I'll be sure to go back.
Fogo is our splurge of the year. The service and staff were excellent! The salad bar and sides were great! The meat was not as good as I remember. Light of the seasoning and tough. I usually get medium but had to go medium rare. It’s nice overall but very expensive for what you get.
They didn’t serve the lunch menu at noon based on “the holidays,” resulting in double price. Very little variety by Fogo de Chao standards.

Waiters could have been a little louder when speaking. Waiters could have explained what was each meat
Horrible service. Meat was served only occasionally, and most time just sausage, chicken, pork and just once or twice the actual picana. Bad service. Súper expensive about $75 pp
