   Ambience was good. Waiter provided great service. Steak wasn’t the best I’ve tasted. Wanted a particular drink on the menu, they were out of that. Wanted peppercorn sauce to go with the steak, they were out of that also. Appreciate the complimentary dessert for a special occasion.

   The chef we had did not know how to cook steaks. Both of our steaks were ordered medium rare. Mine came out as medium-well and my bf was well-done. We pointed this out to our waiter who said they have a new chef but when I now check the reviews this has been a reoccurring issue that has come up over the last year. So maybe the restaurant needs to work on training their new chefs on how to cook steaks or have more experienced chefs cooking the steaks instead. Also I get that people like chefs make mistakes but any other restaurant I’ve been to which has made a mistake like that has taken accountability for it and not made an excuse. Aside from that issue everything else was fine but kind of wish we had gone to Joey’s across the street instead.

   My wife and I went to Flower &Wolf to try their YYC food Expo tasting menu. Overall it was a very good experience. We chose to try Flower & Wolf as the tasting menu was very creative and enticing. We received top shelf service from Melissa throughout the meal. For every course the food was a sensory treat, it looked good, smelled good and tasted good. We definitely enjoyed our evening.

   Steak overcooked , salmon too dry and cheesecake was too soft and over compensated with what looked like spoon fulls of smuckers jam. Ambience nice but food low quality based on prices.

   Good food for a hotel restaurant. It was very busy but they managed well. Our food was delicious and came out quickly. I found it quite loud.

   My wife had the steak and I had the penne chicken and pesto. The food was amazing and the service was spot on. We had a great time here. We will definitely come back

    Very expensive for pubbish type food. $22 for 8 average wings is a bit much. Pasta was served way too spicy, but honest mistake. But, ruins the mood when you're checking in same night. Lettuce wrapped burger was served with nappa cabbage. Ran out of Lettuce. Not a great look. Joey across the way would have been best value on that night. Server was very pleasant.
