Good food, good drinks, good service! It was just really loud but that was our fault for eating at 10pm on a Friday in Patchogue! Would definitely try again!
Went for happy hour, had a really nice menu for a great value. Butternut squash ravioli was great. Also had a glass of rose which was refreshing for the hot day.
Food was magnificent. The only problem was that the food delivery was very rushed. A side order was delivered even before the drinks. The "Flight" of Tapas came 30 seconds after the side. Before the food was gone, we were interrupted three times to ask if our plates could be cleared. When I suggested to our server that service could have been more relaxed, she said "it's so slow tonight, the food came out quickly." No apology. I suggest the serving staff be better trained to be more attentive and not enter kitchen orders as if it were McDonald's.
One of the best dining experiences I have had in a long time; the craft cocktails were on point, the wine flights (Spanish wine) top notch, and the food was creative and delicious. The service was friendly and professional.
Place was nice - loved the decor but the food was not, in my opinion, up to par. Prices were rather expensive for what you got. The only thing that may be worth the money is the pizzas. Everything that we ordered seemed over salted as well. Overall not happy with the food and I so wanted to be!
Not the place to go if you are very hungry. We certainly didn't leave there full. Slider flight and seafood flight were both good, shared between two with beer and wine. Good for a light weeknight dinner. Menu difficult to read; print too light and too small.
I really enjoyed the food and the small plates so that we were able to try a variety of dishes. Everyone that worked there was very nice and attentive. The devor was cool too! I can't wait to go back!
This is my 3rd time at Flight. The food is delicious and pretty reasonably priced. The small plate selections are unique and the vibe is more upscale than other restaurants in town. They recently changed their alcoholic flight menu - bourbon flights, which we had the previous two times, are no longer available.
Our server was nice, but not very knowledgeable on the food or drink selections. Part of our order was forgotten until she asked if there was anything else she could get us when we reminded her we were waiting for another plate. The service was much better during our previous 2 visits so it could have been an off night. We will definitely come back.
It was relatively quiet on a rainy, Saturday night so the noise level was not too bad. When it's crowded, it can be a bit loud. Overall a welcome addition to the village.
went for birthday dinner with close friends. ordered a couple or three dishes at a time and shared them all. had so much fun. the food was delicious. the waiter was both attentive but mellow at the same time. the place had a very Manhattan feel to it. just kept ordering more food and trying everything til we were full. very enjoyable and different.
Excellent food, horrible service (small tables which is fine if the staff is on point, only attention to detail was by the bar back. He did a fantastic job of clearing and moving thru the tables to and from the bar.) The atmosphere was loud, which be fun and fine if the staff were more attentive to there tables and the people dining there. It is unfortunate that as a local I canonly go get delicious food and great service on a week night. If your selling a product/service the time and day should not matter. It has to 100%, 100% of the time, not only on slow days. Staff should pay the kitchen to work there.
Great food! Everything was delicious!
Great food. Nice crafted cocktails and a good wine and beer sepection. Only complaint was that it was a little tight with seating (they moved a table an inch away from another and told us it was "separated") but the overall experience was good.
Chic and hip decor. Staff were very polite, professional and attentive. Food was delicious. Great idea having small plates to share and taste. Also they offer a great way to get a sample of various alcoholic drinks. Can get pricey so be warned lol. Music was fine BUT much too LOUD. Doesnt allow decent dinner conversation. Overall good experience but I would have enjoyed more if i didnt have to yell to communicate with my date.
Great food and Great service , Very wide Range of foods and drinks !!! Beer flights go great with the Food flights
My husband and I went there for our four year anniversary and it had an amazing time . The different kind of flights and the small plates of food were prefect. The food was amazing ! Can't wait to go back.
Service was mediocre at best. Food was fine but overpriced for the portion size. Drinks were good. Major problems closing out the check.
Great place to take your friends. The flight drink experience is nice.
Everything was fantastic !!!
The restaurant was too dark; unable to read menu without the light of iPhone; very small tables; total strangers practically sitting at your table; very small portions; too pricey for the amount of food you got
The food was okay. The noise was incredibly loud. The tables were too close together and too small to support the flight of wines and small dishes. Overall it is not a place I would rush to go back to anytime soon.
Great new restaurant! Cannot wait to go back and try more things on the menu.
Inside is beautiful but my boyfriend and I were seated directly next to another two people so it was a little awkward.
The food was nothing special. We had the brussel sprouts which were busy and barely contained actual brussel sprouts but had lots of fatty pancetta. The chicken lollipops were covered in a tasteless sauce and served with even more bland mashed potatoes soaked in butter. The shrimp fritta was fried shrimp with a weird fruity sauce. Our favorite things were the mac and cheese flight, of which we only liked 1, and the tuna tartare which we thought was going to be seared tuna.
If given the opportunity, I would choose somewhere else in Patchogue to have date night!
Despite having a reservation, we waited 20 minutes past our reservation time to be sat. Our table was separated by a 1 inch gap from the table next to us. Had to wait for a window of opportunity to use the bathroom because the servers were crammed in the walk way serving their tables. Unfortunately, the food was not impressive. Some unique options that were good, however, the food overall was not worth the price. Also, it was a wonder to me how our drinks were ordered a few minutes before our first food items, though the food came out well before our drinks. The service was very good, the place was clean, and the atmosphere was neat. But I will not be going back anytime soon.
We weren't too hungry and we ordered the Flight plate (samplers) with shrimp. It was good. Then we shared a Farmhouse Pizza and was delicious!
To start off the atmosphere was very classy and chic. The amount of room between tables is very limited and not much room between chairs. As far as the food goes, there was a group of four of us. We understood what the term 'flight' meant, so when we saw the option of 'flight' for food, we all thought there would be plenty of food since there was the title of the food and then three items listed underneath. One of the dishes was called ' his and herz' with the items listed my boyfriend and I thought this would be a good amount of food for us. Well, we were wrong. The waitress brought out the items which were on a type of serving plate with three bowls, but with only one item in each of the small plates. One shrimp, lamb, and scallop. What a waste of money for a beyond limited amount of food. If you're looking to go here for dinner, I highly suggest eating before you, if you're not looking for a large bill at the end. There is a wine bar in North Babylon with the same idea of small plates, but extremely delicious and nice sizes for sharing.
food was excellent with even the small plates having a fair portion. service was very good and engaged. great cocktail and wine list.
the only complaint is the restaurant is small and tables are too close together.
overall worth the visit
Food came out warm, not hot. When asked to be reheated, it was just warm. Tables are too small for food coming to the table.
Manhattany type atmosphere, friendly help but need to drop LI wines. Wine not cheap and not good. Food not good enough to overcome bad wine
Greet food and great service! Unique choices and pairings. Perfect for the foodie in all of us
good food good service
If you plan on going to eat, plan on going at least 45 minutes early. I made a 8:30 reservation and was not seated until 9:00 because of the crowd. Not a great place if you are on a schedule or have somewhere to get to after, but the food and drinks were very good.
Food was delicious from start to finish. Great concept, His N Hers was our favorite!
Food and service was Excellent! Would definitely recommend to anyone. A great dining experience!
Great place. Drink flights are original and creative. Food was unique and great spins on the items. Lollipop chicken and tater tots were very creative and tasty. One recommendation is to order in waves rather than all at once. We had ordered a charcuterie platter as well as 4 hot dishes and they all came out within a minute of each other.
airline chicken was a little dry but the scallops were great. Great atmosphere and the service was wonderful. Loved the atmosphere. I will definitely go back
This was our first visit to Flight. Arrived about 5:50 for 6 pm reservation, and decided to have a drink at bar before sitting at our table.
Bar was crowded, place is small. Bartender told me there was just a few more minutes before happy hour ended and that all $12 drinks were $6. I ordered a New Shoes (pro: tasted good, con: I've never seen so much ice in a glass) husband ordered a beer. Husband commented to me that he wasn't given change for his $20, while he waited to check on that I went to tell hostess we were ready to sit (this was at 6:04). There were 6 (?) opened tables, hostess stops at a table next to couple (it would be like having dinner with these people, 2-3 inches between tables). I told her no and was bothered that she would even try to sit us there. She sat me somewhere else and I'm still waiting for husband to come sit. Husband finally sits down very annoyed, bartender told him my drink was not included in happy hour 1/2 price (We both heard him say $12 drinks were $6).
The bar incident and trying to sit us with another couple with many opened tables just left a terrible first impression on us. We decided to leave, on the way out I did tell the hostess why we were unhappy and leaving. She apologized but I can't imagine going to Flight again. Thankfully Patchogue has many other places to get a good food with better service, we went to one of those places.
* did not have any food but forced to leave a rating*
The two of us arrived about 10 min before our reservation so it wasn't yet ready. We walked over to the bar where we were given a drink menu immediately. It was great not having to jump around to wave down the bartender. We ordered our drinks which were custom cocktails and absolutely delicious. We were seated promptly and attended to by our friendly waitress. The food was delicious and unique, some of it rich and decadent (depending on what you ordered). We ordered about 4 different small plates plus dessert and espresso. I highly recommend the espresso; it surprised me with how flavorful it was. It also wasn't extremely bitter like most I order. Most of the dishes are pretty expensive but the flavors they put together are unique and the ambiance and quality is outstanding. I find myself not even worrying about the cost and instead get caught up in the experience of flavors and textures. This is definitely a favorite of mine, although a reservation is definitely required.
Music was too loud, almost club like. Hard to hear what my friends were saying. Felt like I was shouting. Other than that, great place.
