Amazing pokes for lunch

Enjoyable, food decently prepared however a bit overpriced for what it was.

The Korean chicken wings are by far the best thing on the menu. The food and drinks are all of a high standard. The burgers were nice too but got cold very quickly. Service could be spread out between courses, to give customers time to digest their food.

Would come back again.

The food was great- so maybe I would recommend a friend to go at lunch? But on a Saturday evening the music was unbearably loud club music. Even though we’d booked beforehand we were taken past lots of empty tables of two and then sat on a bar overlooking the kitchen by the kitchen entrance. It was really distracting with waiters flapping through the door every 2 minutes. Our drinks were late and we weren’t given plates/ cutlery/ soy sauce until after our food arrived and we flagged a waiter down to ask for them. Maybe a good place to go in a big group of friends if you’re out drinking but wouldn’t recommend otherwise.

Great food and ambience and our meals came ready in a timely manner. The overall selection of food was great. Although we couldn’t enjoy the salmon buns because the waitress said it would take too long to prepare and we had to give up the table in 30mins. We weren’t told at booking that our table was only reserved for 2 hours so that was disappointing especially as they called in advance to confirm our reservation but didn’t warn us that we are on a timer. Not great but overall a lovely evening and I would go back.

Second time I’ve visited Flesh & Buns and it was fab. The brunch is great value when compared to other Shoddy places (Aka Ping Pong), staff were great and the food fantastic. It won’t be long till I’m back!

Very busy evening, we were sat at the bar. The food was ok, a bit on the salty side. Mediocre.

I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant for a while now and it didn’t disappoint; beautiful food, great ambiance and love the Pisco Sours button on the table!

It was incredible food.
I didn’t like the tables facing the kitchen because you were sitting side by aide with other guests. The waiters were friendly but they should know more about the drinks menu

Service was good. I’ve been here quite a few times and the food wasn’t as good as normal. The piglet skin was tough and not at all crispy. The buns must have been steamed for ages as they were all dried out and stuck to the steamer. The wings as always were phenomenal and the drinks were good. Not consistent to previous visits

Very poor service.

One of my favorite spots in the area (if you happen to like that type of food). Don't forget that they also serve some mouthwatering sushi, too. And unlike it's Covent Garden counterpart, this location is above ground. Enjoy and do pass by if you happen to be in the area.

Differentiated and delicious food. All dishes have a very special flavor.

Very unfriendly staff

The food was absolutely delicious and our waitress was really helpful! The food was really fresh and so tasty. A little bit pricey but great for a special occasion. Will be saving up to come back again... the Yuzu Margarita was amazing!

I honestly had the worst service. Whilst I appreciate its a busy time of year if I’m spending money on a meal out I would expect a certain level of satisfactory service. We were firstly placed on a table too small for us. Half the starters were forgotten and the mains were brought out before all starters had arrived. No pisco sour trolley service. The mains came out cold.

Maybe we booked too early for brunch but it was practically empty when we arrived so not much atmosphere. However it was filling up by the time we left. Food was delicious and we liked the pisco sours.

This restaurant is NOT for anyone with Gluten or Dairy allergies! The chef can not modify anything on the menu at all so beware before bringing anyone or recommending to anyone with allergies! We thought since they have fish on the menu and meat this could be cooked without sauces for us but this was not the case. All dishes are premarinated in sauces that are not GF. Too bad. Food is delicious for those who do not have any allergies.

The grilled miso aubergine is absolutely ridiculous. I have no idea what they did to it to get that texture but it's bonkers good. Like, properly amazing. I could eat it everyday for the rest of my life.

I’ve been to this restaurant twice now - the host on both occasions is unhelpful.

On the most recent visit, we were sat for 35 minutes before getting acknowledged and served (and that was only because we had to flag a waiter down)

The food redeems - it’s really great

great food and excellent service, with the help of a very friendly waitress we ordered, among other things some off menu basic sushi roles for our nippers. all very happy.

Amazing food!!!

One of my favourite restaurants in London. Food is always spectacular and the service is great, very welcoming and great ambiance.

The food and concept is good but the service at the end was shocking and unnecessarily rude to get us to leave. Probably the worst dismissal I've ever experienced in a restaurant.

It was great will go again, tasty food although pricey

All good, slightly under staffed and drinks order was wrong a couple of times. Food great!

Great food and perfect for sharing with a group, however we were given the wrong plates a few times and I had to wait for my main as it was given to the wrong table in the restaurant.

We tried the tasting menu which was great, although service could have been slicker. Pisco sours are amazing.

The flesh was luscious and the buns were smooth and firm. We'll worth a visit.

We were a part of 4 having regular catch up and had previously enjoyed an amazing night at the Covent Garden branch of Flesh & Bun. So we were eagerly anticipating our visit and the new Fitrovia branch. On arrival we were promptly seated near the window and our server came over the introduce herself and she was great.
The ambience was very casual and it was nicely done out however it didn't feel quite a special and the Covent Garden branch. We ordered some starters and drinks. Which arrived promptly, however a different server dropped the cokes all over the table we tried to help and it wasn't on purpose but it wasn't a good start , and the drinks went into some of the starters. But only part of this was replaced. We didn't mention it as we'd already eaten half of it.

We also had to repeatedly ask for our jasmine tea to be refilled and often this was forgotten about. we ordered the duck to go with the buns , many other tables ordered this and had there duck served and separated however ours was simply placed on the table and we were left to our own devices.

When we placed our order another server too this and well said he would remember the order we thought this was impressive but did think this was too good to be true. as we had our main dishes and starters but they left out too of the sushi roll dishes. We subsequently had to ask for this and when they arrive it was wrong.

I think because we didn't have one dedicated server this lead to poor communication and felt like we were being really looked after or personable. We had to complain and didn't pay the service charge.

We had a great time. It is a lovely place for friends to catch up and the waitress was so attentive and helpful! Yummy food with a variety of choices!

Amazing food but terrible service!

Disappointed by the service I received although I put this down to the waitress we had, as I witnessed other tables receiving attentive service. Food was good.

THE BEST DINNER- please get chicken wings and aubergine. Delicious food and amazing service... always so tasty

Nice place, good food and good atmosphere. A bit too noisy and service a bit slow but probably because Saturdays are very busy
