   Food was good, but for first timers it was a little bit overwhelming. It’s similar to other restaurants we have been to but they have their own twist on everything. They were very busy and sat our family of six at a table suited better for four. Could have used more servers because refills were slow, check was slow, but we could see our server running all over taking care of a lot of tables. I wouldn’t go here if I needed to be in and out fast, but I would definitely go back.

   We love FlatTop! We wish we still had one in Naperville. The 30 S Wabash location was dirty. The area where customers prepare their bowls was a filthy mess. Many ingredients and a few sauces were empty. Our service was ok. I never did get a refill on my soft drink. The servers don’t really have to do much, and ours sure didn’t. We won’t be returning to this location. But we’ll continue to go to the one in Lombard.

   Our server was fine. . .The girl at the front was rude. We were seated along a heavy traffic area and gently requested that we be re-seated away from the walk-way traffic. Our request was to the two individuals (greeters) at the front. One of the greeters, the gentleman, was nodding "yes," while the other, the woman, barked, "THAT'S THE ONLY TABLE AVAILABLE." With that, I simply returned to my table. When the people seated next to us left, I asked our server if we could move to that table. He said sure. . .Then SHE returned, annoyed, and began to clean off the table. When she finished, she barked again, "IT'S CLEAN NOW." C'mon people, can't we be nicer than that? It was my birthday (as noted in my Open Table reservation) so I refused to let her spoil my evening. . .and, in the grand scheme of things, it's not the biggest deal, but perhaps some training is needed to improve "tone and disposition" when handling requests by patrons. I won't be going back this establishment again.

   Food always tastes good but Took too long to get our food which was upsetting. We ended up leaving before receiving our second helping.

   The food was fun to assemble and it was really tasty. The ingredients were fresh and varied. Allergy info was made very really clear.

   We arrive in the reservation window and where seated after a group that arrived after us with a later reservation. Was told it was due to available table size, 3 women group at a 4 seat table. We where a group of 4. Ordered a tea and drink from the bar, came half way through earing our food.

    One thing really bothered me. What is the difference between lunch and dinner in menu? Seems like just a price. I've been there for lunch and for the dinner. You just paying more to be there at the dinner time. It doesn't work for me.
